Oh, why did I do it? I know the after effects. I realize that White Castle is human Drain-O. I could not help myself. It's like a moth to a flame. This location is just too dangerously close to where my relatives live. Whenever I go out to the suburbs to visit I know it's always there. Comforting in a way. It's been there forever. I remember when it first opened and the lines that stretched for blocks. It was a novelty back then and not many had ever had it. It was like a beacon of light over many drunken nights and escapades. Cheap belly bombers to coat our alcohol filled stomachs. Our drunken asses would dig up whatever few dollars we had left and change on the car floor to enjoy a late night pig-out before stumbling home. Here it is years later and it's still there. The crowds have died down considerably, and the prices have gone up, but it's still a cheap meal. Still tastes the same. Still cleans you out the next morning! Drive through can be painfully slow. That's never changed. It's better to go inside and watch the staff prepare the food. It's decently clean in there but on weekend party nights can get a bit messy. I dropped in on Saturday night to grab a few of those soft little sliders on the way home. Same result as always, but still oddly satisfying. Feed the crave!

Probably the only reason I wanted to eat this place because of Harold and Kumar movie go to White Castle movie. I can now say I have tried white castle =] but overall the food wasn't that great. My stomach won't be craving for it. BUT THE PRICE IS GOOD =]

This is an inexpensive to moderate-priced fast-food establishment that is open 24 hours. The modern day White Castle experience is rarely anything but a pleasure, as the food is prepared in a timely manner, and served with pride: The Five-star meals are created by a line cook, combining varied cooking techniques; from the unique fashion of steaming the thin beef patties, onions and buns, to the tasty offerings of the fry basket, which are all then individually boxed, and served by your cashier/ host. White Castle never disappoints. This White Castle is decorated with vintage-inspired White Castle ephemera, and has been renovated within the last several years, doing away with the dual counters that characterized the chain when it first opened. Because of this change, less White Castle employees are needed for smooth operation and applicants are carefully screened to weed out the lazy slacker or overzealous novelty set. This Castle is also exclusive to its roots, and has not been bastardized by Church's Chicken co-branding. Crave on Centereach White Castle. Waiting and Wishing they will one day resurrect "Spicy Cheese Dip."

I now live out of the area, and boy do I miss this place! I can still buy white castles out of the freezer at the supermarket, but nothing beats the real thing at the restaurant. Burgers are cheap, good and always fresh. There's something special about those little white castles... Fries and rings as sides are good as well. The restaurant is open 24 hours a day (late night drive-thru only), which is convenient when it's late, you're hungry, and not much else on Middle Country Rd is open at 3 o'clock in the morning. Sometimes the service is pretty slow late at night, but it's because not as many people are working and they are making everything fresh on the spot for you. Haven't had breakfast there, but I imagine it to be good just like everything else!

Pretty amazing place, although my father will tell you differently, I personally lovelovelove it. The mozzerella sticks are the best you will find from any fast food restaurant. Their sweet potato fries were good, though I am not sure that they have them all year round, or if they are limited time only. The double cheese burger sliders are the way to go. Never go wrong with them. Definitely enjoy my meal everytime I go.

I am from the west coast and this is the closest you get to in and out quality fast food. I got the sliders and was not disappointed

Well-situated along 25, they offer a good alternative to most fast food and their food is as greasy as one hopes. Only been once or twice and for a limited selection (I don't eat meat) at the drive-thru, but my friends are always silent for quite a while (unless you count the subtle "MmM"'s)...

i gotta say i love these little burgers. it took me a few trips to "get" it, but i finally did. a few viewings of harold and kumar also makes it fun again.

I had never been to White Castle previously and wanted to try it because I had heard a lot about it. I ordered a cheese slider, fish slider, and chicken ring slider. It was not nearly as cheap as I thought it was going to be. Over $5 for three very small items. It took a while to get my order and when it came it was in a take out bag even though I ordered in. It was also slammed onto the counter and the woman serving me just said "here". The slider was horrible, far worse than the McDonald's McDouble, which is the same price for four times as much burger. The fish slider was decent and very hot, but still barely edible. The Chicken ring slider I ordered came incorrect, they gave me an order of chicken rings instead of the slider. They were possibly the worse chicken tender type food stuff I have ever eaten. They had a similar texture to the fake meat soy products and even less flavor. I will definitely not be coming back.

Burgers are great just wish they was a little bit more bigger have to order about four to get full. The staff is friendly but the service is slow and prices are a little too high for how big the burgers are. Up there with taco bell for a midnight snack whether you're home or having a night out.

Under staffed. Ran out of fish. Long wait for order. Counter person taking and filling orders. People were walking out

This place has service that is slower than traffic on middle country road during rush hour! However, when you finally get those belly bombers, crinkle fries and icy, cold Coca-Cola, you will be one hella-happy customer!

Burgers etc. It is a White Castle so I suppose you all know what they serve- this is the place to hit when that crave starts after a night out with the fellas... and there is no other taste like it that I know of. This White Castle location has a drive through that seems to move faster than the others in NY - so not sure if that is true or not but I ordered and had my goodies and was on my way in a flash. Prices are average for White Castle and just remember to leave your car windows open or that smell gets into everything! Parking lot for those who want to venture inside.

OK, time has passed so I can come clean. This was the White Castle I grew up with as a kid. We all came here on dates, hung out with my HS friends, it was cheap and I have good memories here. However! Think 80s! I was in the military and I came home on leave during the summer. I was so excited, I went to Merry Go Round (Remember that store??) and bought a cool black Chams shirt with a skinny tie. I'm all set to hit the Long Island clubs. Just something to point out, They really don't have lotsa clubs anymore do they? Everyone is piercing their face and drinking to some wacky music. (They don't even Wang Chung??) Yuckkk. After the club, me and my three buddies stop in to this location to get White Castle hamburgers. We sit down next to 4 girls in an adjoining booth. My buddy who was a little crazy, throws his pickle at the girls. They pick it up, throw it back and almost hit my shirt! We finish and my buddy takes his empty soda cup and throws it on their table. They take the cup and throw it at me!? It opens and even though its just ice, its my shirt! I say, lets go! We jump in the car and I drive to Dunkin Donuts across the street. ?? I grab a dozen jelly and cream donuts. We all go inside with these "weapons" and throw them at the girls, the cooks, customers. it was mayhem in Centereach! I stop in with my wife last week. We order a few burgers and I smile. I'm a Chams man

Bag of Burgers? Case of Burgers? What is this craziness?? A place that has movies that have whole missions that are dedicated to finding a location has to be mind blowing. When we pulled up into the parking lot I started cheering and screaming in joy. I have only been to one White Castle when I was younger and it shut down. Since then I have been reliving the memory. So I got a cheeseburger meal which comes with 4 tiny burgers, fries and a vanilla shake. We also got chicken rings to share. The chicken rings weren't my thing at all. The shake was super thick, way too much to use a straw with. Fries were good. The burgers were alright. Maybe because they are steam cooked they loose some flavor but I felt that they were missing something. This was still cool to go to for an out of towner.

As usual, folks are afraid to give good reviews of fast food joints. This is a White Castle. 99% of people that pull into the parking lot know what to expect. It's not haute cuisine. They took the order quickly, served it quickly, and one bite took me back to my first slider, some 18 years ago. You can't ask for much more than that. Venue could use better signage and could be a bit more clean, but nothing so wrong that won't see me back there next time I'm in the area!

This is the ultimate late night food. Im not so much a regular at white castle but I do need my fix about twice a year. The service is usually slower than most other fast food places but its so worth it.They have an extensive menu with all different types on non-healthy treats. One year I even brought a crave case to a pot luck christmas eve party!!

When you get the White Castle craving you just know you have to go and get some or better yet a suitcase. JK. I think this is one of my favorite fast food treats. Wow did I really say that. These mini sliders are the originals and worth it. After a night out and you want something to eat. This is a great place. Pick up a combo pack and upgrade to a sack of fries, add sack of chicken rings, and a soft drink and your golden. While your up at the line you can see the staff making the sliders. I don't know if I am drooling at the food or fascinated by the process. Either way I stare. lol.

This White Castle location meets my expectations of eating at White Castle. The drive thru could be a little faster, and the interior could be a little cleaner, but the food hits it's mark. If you want white castle and this is your closest location, go here.

Seems like they scrapped their attempts at the Hoity-Toity approach to Belly-Bombers. They have a garbage can again. The coffee stand seems a little less kept up with. Dining room is slightly dingy again. They lose no love nor any stars You know if this was on top of Brookhaven Landfill you'd still eat here.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
