Good for quickie Chinese. They go light on the bean curd and chicken, heavy on the cheap vegetables. Speak sloooowwwlleee when ordering if its very busy.

China Garden is a typical neighborhood Chinese restaurant. No frills. One annoyance is a relatively new policy requiring cash for any charge under $10. Several times I've skipped coming here because I didn't have enough cash on me and who wants to make a special trip to the bank just for some quick Chinese food? I've also noticed that certain workers give you a fortune cookie where as others do not. When I get my order I can tell if there is a cookie inside based on the employee putting everything into the bag. It never fails. Pretty hilarious. My favorite dish is the curry chicken, which is available as a lunch special. $6 for an entree, rice and choice of soup, soda or egg roll. Not a bad deal, and it's available until 3PM.

Over the past several months China Garden has been on a rapid decline. Today they refused to take my debit card because I was slightly under $10. This is illegal. There is no legal minimum to get an approval. This was a China Garden made up amount. Shame on them. They are lucky to get any business with all the places around here to choose from.

Not good for vegetarians. May be good for non vegetarians. My ratings are based on my taste

They get 3 stars for the pad Thai special I ordered and a negative star for the "chicken chow mein" my husband ordered. It wasn't chow mein, there weren't even any noodles. And whatever it was (a large plate of sliced onions and a few pieces of chicken in some sort of broth) was flavorless and unappetizing. The steamed dumplings tasted like the tap water used to steam them (how is that even possible?!) and one dumpling was empty of filling. I will not be returning.

Once was a good restaurant now is horrible food and horrible service. The lady that is always there is rude and I have a strong opinion that they use my credit card number for fraud. Will never ever eat there again.

We'd been searching for the best Chinese Food in White Plains and stumbled upon this place. The teriyaki Chicken sticks are the best! Also the veggie lo mein, sesame chicken and general Tso's is really good. Better than most. I didn't give 5 stars because I don't really like the fried rice. But it's is our new go to for fast Chinese food.
BEWARE this place is a joke. Called for a take out which was told an hour thought that was much but I still put in the order over an hour passes and a didn't receive my food so I called and was told my food already left 30 minutes later I still didn't receive my food so I called again same lady picked up and rudely tells me that I was told it will take an hour I responded and said yes an hour not 2 hours . Finally my food arives was charged prices that are different then online prices food is cold ,tasteless , over cooked , dry and bad quality and over priced .Didn't eat my food decided to call to let them no and was told there to busy to talk to me. WOW when I thought it couldn't be any worse. Between food, service and customer service this place is the worst place I ever experienced . So they didn't want to listen to what I had to say , so hopefully everyone that reads this will. Do your selfs a favor do not go to this place

Fast service and reasonable prices. Egg roll and fried rice were good. Sweet and sour shrimp and general tso chicken were horrible. Chicken chow main was also pretty bad.

The food took 1 hr and 20 minutes to be delivered. It was cold and there was no sauce on either dish. The chicken was dry and fried to death on top of being cold and soggy. The woman who answered the phone was also rude. Never again.

I am pretty picky about Chinese food and this is really good food. The previous reviewer said there was not a lot of meat...I am unsure of how there could be more unless they forgot the veggies completely. Love that they deliver and that the food is still hot. Hot and Sour Soup is amazing. Also loved the Gen Tso Chicken and Szchwan Beef. Egg rolls and crab rangoon...not my favs. But, the food is really good and you should enjoy it.

After passing by this place several times, and turned off by the construction that is always on this street and making it difficult to cross the street, I finally decided to give it a go after reading positive reviews from fellow Yelpers. I was happily reassured that my Yelpers delivered. The food here, albeit a little greasy, was actually quite tasty. I had the shrimp with broccoli lunch special, with medium shrimp in a garlic sauce and very crispy broccoli as I requested. It was a huge portion. The hot and sour soup was too starchy..not a fave. Service was friendly and efficient. The place was immaculate for a fast food joint, with nonexistent décor and towards the window, two seriously slanted tables with benches at a slant. Hey, you can eat there and pretend you are on a boat. All in all, a place I'd visit again if in the nabe and with a yearning for Chinese food.
