First, I have no clue how a Sushi restaurant in Laughlin has food this fresh! I sincerely doubt it comes from the river, though! It can hang with it's brother in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Diego, and Phoenix. Not to over-embellish, but this may be the best food in Laughlin! The decor of this little gem is among the finest Sushi establishments i have seen. A genuine mix of culture and trend, the walls are nicely decorated with oriental artwork, the seating is classic, and the waitstaff is professional. I had the Las Vegas roll and a California roll... The food was to die for. The tastes were crisp and fresh... I wish I could go into more detail but sushi is sushi! It is either right or its not, and this was right! The sauces had a great flavor, everything about this place makes me eager to return (except for its zip code). The service is world class, and obviously run by a very dedicated, caring family. I felt comfortable immediately after walking in, which is a heck of an accomplishment considering I was about to eat sushi in Laughlin! They also offer take out, which is great for The Hideout located next door - not that I would ever recommend trying to mop up a night of hefty drinking with sushi! Eat here, you won't regret it!

Good sushi, good service and prices are typical for good sushi. A must stop whenever we are in Laughlin.
(4)Lucia M.
Fantastic sushi!!! Def was not sure since it's way out in the desert and tucked away in a strip mall but I could not have been more satisfied. The sushi was phenomonal and the service was impecable.
(5)Manuel R.
If you are a salmon lover you must try the Sexy Salmon and Salmon Lover. Both are very tasty.
(4)Chris W.
Pleasantly surprised. The salmon sashimi was delicious and well portioned, the Korean BBQ was insanely good! Staff was friendly and I really enjoyed the food!
(5)Angeline P.
The baked Bullhead and Kingman are winners! You will NOT be disappointed!
(5)Nala H.
I waited for food for a long time. When we were there, server acts rude. We tried to get out of there, and then they became kind of friendly. What a drama. They didn't have enough time to give a service. One or two server only for ton of people? We want for at least an hour to go. When we came back to hotel to eat the food, we realized food was different and they forgot my order. Food was okay, but we do not deal with the restaurant only with food.
(2)Van H.
3 stars for food and 5 stars for service. We ordered the chirashi bowl, a la carte sushi, several rolls, Korean BBQ short ribs, orange chicken and drinks. As you can see, they have a very diverse, menu; they also have a decent beer selection. There was a decent dinner crowd for a Thursday night, and all the patrons seemed to really enjoy their meals. Food here is good and solid, but not fantastic. We would come back.
(4)Lisa J.
WOW, these high rated reviews are way off! This is far from what a Japanese or sushi restaurant should be, even in the desert. Fish is not fresh, half the items on menu are "unavailable" and service is so so. Cooked items are OK, but are overpriced and nothing special. If you don't like something you order, they will not take it off your bill or get you a substitute for it. So, I don't know why the waitress even comes back to ask how your meal is, when there is nothing they plan on doing if your food is gross or inedible. We left most items ordered at the table after a couple bites. The building is kinda scary that the restaurant is in, Minato is on the top floor. Half the stores there are closed, the stairwells and elevator smells funky. We won't be back. For better experience try the sushi bar at the Tropicana Express. They are open limited hours on just Friday and Saturday, so plan ahead. The fish there is fresh, high quality and chefs are great!
(1)Thomas S.
Korean menus were much better than what was expected. There were very spicy and tasteful. Kimchi-soup (kimch jjigae) and spicy marinated pork. Great korean food here. The food portions are pretty big, but pricy a bit.
(4)Jonathan C.
Minato has recently started offering all-you-can-eat sushi. I forget the prices exactly, but it's very comparable to most all-you-can-eat sushi restaurants that I've been to. The quality is great and, if you can eat an appetizer and two rolls, the all-you-can-eat option is definitely the way to go.
(5)Dani P.
This place is overpriced. :-( Sushi was OK, it was rolled pretty big and every roll we got was loose and falling appart. They do have a nice menu with special rolls that are worth trying, i just dont agree with prices. It is a nice location and the place is pretty quiet, but it could be because it was pretty slow that day.
(3)Chris N.
I wasn't expecting to find any decent japanese food in Laughlin. But I was wrong! First, the miso soup. It's an appetizer that often reflects the overall quality of their menu. The miso soup was good. I've had sushi, sashimi, and combo dinners. They've all been good. The sashimi was a bit pricey, but then again, it pretty much is anywhere you go. Considering this is in a place thats hundreds of miles from the nearest ocean, the sashimi was fresh. No fishy smell or taste. They have a great selection of sushi. The rice, nori, and filling are quality. The last time I went here I ordered the chicken chow mein. The portion was huge. I couldn't even finish half of it. If you're visiting Laughlin and you want Japanese food. This is your best (only?) bet. Service was very good too!
(4)Gary C.
Had one of the lunch specials. Miso soup, salad, spicy tuna roll & 4 pieces of nigiri. All OK except for the roll. They use tuna scrape & the texture is mushy. Probably the worst roll I've ever been served. The location is off-putting.The environment inside OK & the service was very good.
(2)Poppy C.
We had lunch here and it was fantastic. I can't say a bad thing about it. Even got soup n a little cucumber salad with our rolls (most of the places we've been to give us nothing). Waiter was really nice too.
(5)Judy M.
The atmosphere was horrible! Located on 2nd floor of strip shopping center. No windows, full of neon beer signs and large TV. Food was extremely salty.
(1)THOR E.
We had dinner there during our visit to Laughlin and were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was.The location seemed kind of sketchy but once we got past that all was good. The sushi rolls were very good and fresh and service was excellent.By far the best sushi for 100 miles. We will be back for sure next trip in the area
(5)Andy C.
It's is only right, that this place be my 100th first review!!! My friends and I pulled into Laughlin at around 11pm and we were tired. We checked into our hotel room, and let me just say, trying to find a nice little place to eat after a certain time, is hard, very very hard to do!!! we pulled into this shopping center and I was the guinea pig and I was the one who was sent up to the restaurant to check if they were still open. Luckily, THEY WERE OPEN AT THIS HOUR!!!! We had a party of about 6, and we had just pulled into town from San Diego. We were so thankful for this place to take us into their restaurant and service us at such late hours. The food here was so delicious!! We ordered so much food (I think our bill came out to easily $70-80) but we were hungry!!! I think we were able to finish most of the food for the 6 people that we had in our party. Their fish here at the sushi bar is so delicious and so fresh!!! I was surprised when I came out here to see how fresh all the food was for being in Laughlin. Damn I should have been smacked several times. I think they have some sort of mafia grip hold on the sushi market in Laughlin. The sushi is amazingly good, (life is tough serving raw seafood in the desert). There is a good selection of seafood, sake, and beer. I'm a sashimi fanatic, so I really enjoy the sashimi sampler. This restaurant is a great blend of Japanese and Korean know-how in a place where you would least expect. I like the feel of this place, plus a bonus for me is that it's not inside one of the casinos. With filling portions of specialty rolls, nigiri, sashimi, and Asahi!!!! This place is just hands down amazing!!!! I can't wait to come back here when I am traveling back to this town!!!
(5)Mari C.
Ok- so... Let me start by saying my husband & I tried this place on my B-Day while in Laughlin. ..We tried it based off of these REVIEWS... Wow- this place disappointed then SOME! :( gross* so, as we ordered the all you can eat I literally witnessed the sushi chef pull out not the covered plastic "fresh fish" u see by the sushi counter but, a piece of frozen fish in a ziplock that he obviously defrosted to make our sushi - 2nd our sushi was Disgusting. Not some of it but all! The rice wasn't sticky it was like day old cold & hard rice! - then to make things even worse I bit into my tempura shrimp roll sushi & I bit into an ICE chip in my sushi while biting into the warmth of the tempura. *STOMACH TURN* .. It was LITERALLY DISGUSTING. Sushi should always be fresh & pieces of your sushi should not be defrosted. Also have u ever tried HOT & ICE CHIP Sushi??? Not normal !! :/ We drove home from Laughlin with terrible stomach Aches & Sick for 2 days. * TERRIBLE !* *DISGUSTING* & I would Not recommend to my worst enemy. Absolutely gross. Paying an $80 bill for Bad Sushi is NOT cool ! - Not only does the place Looking Sketchy Bad enough But the disgusting old Sushi Topped the CHARTS.
(1)Gretchen E.
Very unique and delish rolls. Avocado Castle was like sushi salad, seafood Dynamite yum, Minato roll, and Bullhead roll. Nice and friendly service.
(5)Tracy C.
DELISH. Seriously i could write that in my review and that be it because thats exactly what the sushi here is. We got the lake havasu roll and the las vegas roll and both were absolutely divine. We shared a large saki and saporro both which were reasonably priced and so good. When we come back to laughlin we will come back seeing as i love sushi and i would say this is better then most that i have had
(5)Lisa R.
The next time you go order er the Highroller hand roll. Its tuna and samon with avercodo. Its great.
(5)Kyle W.
Awesome. Nice service. Prompt and friendly. Great fish. Even though it's in the middle of the desert the fish is as fresh as if it came right off the boat. I wasn't a fan of the eel sauce personally. I felt it was too bland, but other than that everything was great. Nice and prompt service combined with fresh fish is all that I can ask for at a sushi place.
(5)robert d.
For being in the middle of the desert, the sushi was pretty good. Is it fresh? I have no idea... I was drunk off my a-word. I recall that I enjoyed it and I didn't get sick. Viva Minato!
(4)Tracy M.
Great sushi and service!
(4)Tim M.
I enjoy coming to Minato! I ordered the vegetable tempura and chicken katsu. It never disappoints me!
(5)Steven O.
Decent sushi being served here...worth a try if you find yourself in Laughlin craving sushi.
(3)Steve E.
Went here for dinner thinking it would be average, boy was I wrong, this was some of the best Sushi I have had. Fish was fresh and Keith did a great job entertaining us and suggesting things to try.
(4)Chisato S.
My husband and I wanted Japanese before going off-roading to wilderness. We noticed they offered both Japanese and Korean menu. Maybe we should have ordered from Korean side. Cucumber salad and miso soup were marginal, and spicy scallop roll was not bad... But when my husband got his Tonkatsu plate, they did not look right and sure did not taste right. Tonkatsu should be prepared with panko bread crumbs. The thin pieces of not so tasty pork was dipped in butter and slapped on regular bread crumbs. They did not have any texture or flavor of Tonkatsu. My Saba Shioyaki had weird seasoning and weird texture. I was hoping for crisp piece of saba with lemon and Daikon oroshi... It was a total disappointment. The group of people eating Korean foods behind our table seemed like having a good time. Again, maybe we should have ordered Korean foods.
(2)Long Beach N.
This place is one of the best sushi places ever and considering it being located in laughlin? It's a really nice hole in the wall yet very nicely decorated restaraunt inside... The food was great but yet a bit on the pricey side!
(5)Heather M.
I have eaten here two times. I decided to give it a second try only because my first experience was horrible and I wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt because there aren't many sushi places around here. The service was terrible and most of the sushi wasn't good. We ordered tempura rolls and the outside was rock hard and the fish was cooked in it. We sent it back and they said that is the way tempura rolls were supposed to be like that. I am experienced sushi eater and they are wrong. The miso soup was even horrible. How can you make miso soup bad....humm. As for the service, it took forever just to get our beers at the beginning and order and then it took forever to get our check at the end. My second experience was a little tiny bit better but not by much. I will be checking out the sushi place in Bullhead City to see if that place is any better.
(2)Breanne L.
So excited to finally try this place after passing it for years on vacation. The restaurant is located upstairs across from the golden nugget. First off the wait staff was Very friendly. They gave us plenty of time to read through the roll options and even gave us both soup the start. I ordered the orange crush roll and Philadelphia roll. My husband doesn't eat sushi so her got the Beef yakisoba. Both meals were so tasty. My sushi was super fresh tasting and even to the last piece I was doing the yummy happy dance in my chair. They have definitely earned my future business and even better our meal was only $30!!!
(5)Melissa B.
Ordered via the online app and it stated food would be ready in 20 minutes. 50 minutes later, we are still waiting for the food to be ready. Not happy. No discount offered, nothing. My husband said, what are you going to do for us and the woman offered him water while he waited. We ordered online because we had a sleeping baby in the car and wanted to grab something fast, needless to say... It didn't work out. The food was pretty good when we finally got it, but it wasn't worth the wait!
(1)Deena R.
Miso and cucumber salad kicked off the meal well. They brought our ginger and wasabi before the sushi, which pleased me because I add wasabi to my soy and now I could prep that spicy salty deliciousness early. Noticing there was not low-sodium spy on any table, I asked for it and the server brought it right away. The familiar green topped Kikkoman bottle was present and again I was happy. Until I poured it. Watered down is an understatement. (Picture included) I poured the regular stuff and wasabi'd it before snapping the pic. Vampire roll - sauce is sweet. So you get sweet with the heat of spicy (not too spicy, just right) What the heck - mild, fresh, but a hair too much mayo for my liking. Using a squirt bottle with a smaller top would be a solution to that. Escolar sashimi - I was disappointed. It was in ponzu with green onion (neither mentioned on the menu). I guess I see sashimi as pure fish. So when you add stuff to it, the purity is reduced. Scallop deluxe. Got this because it said no rice. Who were we surprised because it's not a roll. It's a krab and scallop baked fish. Husband ate it and said it could use acid. So we asked for some lemon wedges to squirt on top. The itty bitty scallops were slightly over baked. You're now wondering if the lemon added the needed acidity? So are we. The server never brought it. Overall, meh to decent. The Kikkoman company would shit themselves tho.
(2)Jane L.
I have nothing but good things to say about this joint. Located about an hour away from Vegas, it is the perfect lunch or dinner spot. My family and I shared the Hawaiian roll, hoe dup bap (a rice bowl with pieces of sashimi and veggies), udon, and vegetable fried rice. WOW! Everything was on point and my stomach was incredibly happy. The server was very attentive and made sure to refill my water for me multiple times- thank you! The outside plaza looks a bit shabby but the restaurant itself is nice!
(5)Tonya B.
Worst Customer Service Ever !! Little man at the register made rude remarks to me as I was paying my bill because I was charged for a beverage I did not consume. His exact words were " youre never going to eat here again so what do I care" Take note that this sushi is extremely overpriced with horrible customer service. Never again.
(1)David S.
Great sushi spot. We've been coming here for quite some time and always enjoyed ourselves here. What's good about this place is they have Korean barbecue and sushi.that way if you have people in your party that aren't into sushi this is good for everybody. Service was excellent. Price was very reasonable. All in all a great experience. Highly recommend it. Calamari was almost perfect.
(5)B C.
We've been coming to Laughlin for 15 years. Passed by this restaurant many times but never thought of Laughlin for good sushi. Well I have to say we were wrong not only was it good sushi it was really good sushi. Portions were large, service great. We will be back! Thank you to Yelp reviews!
(4)Danielle J.
Great find! Near Tropicana in a strip mall upstairs. Amazing sushi and appetizers. Good prices. Would highly recommend!
(5)Taylor U.
Minatos can be so hit or miss, but for the most part I have had excellent experiences. It's good to know what days they get their fish so you come on a day that the fish is the freshest. Makes a huge difference (obvi). The orange crush roll is by far my favorite and highly recommended for its freshness. The vampire roll is another good choice if you are a tempura and spicy tuna fan. Cucumber salad is a must order with the miso soup. Overall best sushi that you can get without having to drive to Vegas.
(4)Jameson T.
The food is great and the price is even better, went there for a friends birthday, the service was quick and the food was fresh, I would recommend the place for dinner on a trip to Laughlin.
(4)Josiah L.
Review is on their service. My fiance and I stopped by for dinner based off the reviews found here on Yelp. Within the first five minutes we were offered something to drink. However after waiting an additional 15 minutes we just walked out. Shame we were both looking forward to eating here. I guess that's what you get when you come into a Japanese sushi house owned and operated by Koreans. Unapologetic rude service... Ended up going to Bubba and it only took less than a minute for our server to take our full order.
(1)Diane Z.
Went there last night ,first in a year, new owners I was told, portions were small, items forgotten I mentioned about size of portions to hostess, she said" that's the way we make.umm...I'm not the owner...umm we won't be back .Maki next time. RUDE HOSTESS all you really have to do is acknowledge and apologize sometimes.FYI JOE AND DIANE
(1)Juan P.
Nothing but good things to say!!!! Service was amazing, I never had to wait to get a refill, and food came out quickly, and tasted amazing.... And on top of that it was for the most part in expensive
(5)Melissa L.
This is our new go to place for sushi in Laughlin. It is so nice to not have to cross over the river to find an all you can eat gem like this. Lunch starts at 21.95 and is in 3 tiers, depending on what you want or like in your sushi. Dinner starts at 26.95 and has 2 tiers. All tiers include miso soup and a yummy cucumber salad to start, as well as appetizers like gyoza, edamame and fried calamari. Sushi, hand rolls, specialty rolls and even sashimi is also available. There are the normal California and spicy tuna rolls as well as many tempura rolls and many different specialty rolls like the classic spider and dragon rolls. The service is always outstanding and the wait staff are very attentive, making sure you always have food of some kind in front of you and your drinks are always filled promptly. My husband and I have dined here twice and both times the sushi chef has come to our table to ask if everything was good. It is so nice to have this here in Laughlin.
(4)Bri B.
Minato is delicious, inexpensive, and I always come back for more. If you ever go out to Laughlin for a trip, stopping here is a must! I suggest trying the Lake Havasu sushi roll or the tempura veggies.
(5)Jessie C.
The only reason I'm giving this place 3 stars is because I was disappointed in the appetizers we got. Other than that the service was quick & friendly. Place is clean. Sushi was good (: the water was refreshing.. Says my fiancé.
(3)Dave A.
This place is a waste of time and money seated at 825 pm go some California rolls ordered dinner at 840pm at 915 pm told me they did not have no rice left to make our shrimp fried rice the service is terrible waited 15 minutes for ice tea refill other people left also if you want to have Japanese food spend the time to go to bullhead city and eat at the samurai steakhouse it is worth the money this place is a waste of time and money
(1)Vladimir L.
Not bad food, hand-roll's were good size and tasted good, shrimp fried rice was nice and kids liked it, all around good experience, will come again.
(4)ashley f.
Amazing sushi. It's a bit scary because sushi in the desert..? But don't let that deter you. Don't waste your money on casino sushi. Come here. Sexy jay will take care of you..
(5)Isa G.
The food was really good. I had the beff bulgogi was delicious! Meat was so tender, just delicious. My friend had the teriyaki chicken. She said it was good, but cold because the waitress meat it up and had to return it and she didn't want to return it again because the waitress had some attitude. It was busy on Sunday night and not enough workers that's why it took for ever for our food to come and some orders were mess up, not just ours.
(4)Narissa N.
We were in Laughlin on Memorial weekend, and it was packed. We wanted sushi, but was nervous about the type of service we would be getting because Laughlin was so crowded. The service was very good, and the food was quality as well. Recommend if you are in the area and craving sushi.
(4)Ken P.
Amazing service! The food is great and the chef specials are spectacular! Sexy Jay, Bruce and the entire staff are top notch and personal! Thanks guys for always taking care of us.... Ken and Camille!
(5)Mara G.
It's difficult for me to eat in Laughlin because I am a vegetarian. I was so thrilled to find this restaurant on Yelp. Based on the reviews we went for dinner before attending a concert. Glad we made this choice. I had a vegetarian roll and vegetable tempura. My husband was in heaven because he loves sushi and we rarely go because I do not eat fish, especially raw fish. He said his sushi was some of the best he's had, my meal was delicious as well. The cucumber salad is really good, I asked for seconds! It's my go to when in Laughlin from now on. I recommend it for anyone who wants to step out of the Laughlin "buffet" box. Have a healthy meal, visit this restaurant!
(5)Luisa A.
I loveeeeee this place could eat here everyday they have the yummiest food and sushi their shrimp fried rice is amazingggg and hey give you a good portion enough for two even three people their teriyaki and orange chicken also very good they have GREAT customer service. This place is a hidden treasure my fave dinning place in Laughlin it's not the fanciest but they are nice, comfortable, and most importantly CLEAN!!! They are great I've tasted many other items on their menu and they are all delicious. I almost forgot when you order you get this really good soup and cucumber salad I always look forward to that. I wish this place much success they are just wonderful!
(5)Jodi R.
We were in Laughlin, NV to visit poor man's Vegas. I spotted Minato sushi bar on the opposite side of our hotel. My family are not sushi fans so I ordered the carry out sashimi sampler and tempura vegetable appetizer. The tempura was crunchy and tasty like tempura should be. I will return to try more tempura combinations. I waited until later to eat the sashimi. Went I went to taste it, I thought I got bad fish. I have eaten sushi/sashimi over the years but never had a "bad batch." I realized that the flavor I was tasting was hot, too hot and completely altered the taste of the fish. I was so disappointed to see green jalapenos on top? My husband said maybe it's a border thing being so close Mexico? However, I didn't enjoy it and will request that they be removed if and when I order fish again from this restaurant.
(3)Chris L.
Wow where do I start?! Well came here on a Monday night with a party of about 12 people. After ordering we were told that they couldn't make fried rice because they were out of rice. A sushi place out of rice!? Right there is bad quality control! Whatever though, a few of our party changed their orders. Then it when down hill FAST!! Only a few of the sushi orders came out right away the rest came out 40 min later. Meanwhile half the party who ordered ribs, steak and tempura dinners where still not served. Finally about an hour after ordering we received one tempura plate and one beef rib plate. Both plates were very skimpy and missing the rice. The tempura was suppose to include 10 shrimps and there was only 6. Still missing 6 of the plates we waited another 30 min. Then we proceeded to ask about the other meals and the soup and cucumber salad that was included that NO ONE received! They told us with large party's they don't bring soup and salad unless they are asked for it because "it's too hard to carry and pass out". WHAT!? That I swear is a quote from the server and the manager. Then after another 30 min we finally told them to take all the items not received and asked to speak to a manager. The manager who didn't speak English avoided making contact with us until we demanded. Finally we left there with only 20% off the bill of the food received which took care of the 18% gratuity that was charged. 4 people in the party left full from eating the other 8 who received nothing ended up at chilis across the river. Ridiculous!!! Been coming here for about 11 years haven't came in awhile but obviously a change in ownership is present. NEVER coming here again and I will do all in my power to tell people to not come here either.
(1)My M.
Came here the day before heading out to the river. This review is BASED on the food AVAILABILITY in the SURROUNDING AREA. The food was good, portions were good, & the service was good. Maybe the best Japanese food out in the area. May I add it is kid friendly.
(4)William Q.
Good sushi, medium portions. The tap water is really good though. Sushi chefs were very attentive and engaged us with conversation. Overall a great experience.
(4)Jess N.
We come here every time we are in town. Best sushi and service possible! They have the most amazing short ribs... Must try! Orange crush roll is refreshing and soooo tasty. There is no shortage of sushi restaurants where we are from so we know what sushi is.... And this place tops the list. The staff is so friendly and attentive. If you're in Laughlin you have to try this place!
(5)Veronica E.
best sushi ever! all you can eat sushi for a very nice price! we sat at the bar and the sushi chefs kept making very good "chef's specials" for vegetarians that included fruit in some of them! all were very good and very different. he made some very delicious ones for my meat-eating companion too. I will be stopping by here again when i come back in town!
(5)Ann L.
Delicious poki, service grand and very friendly staff. Liked the cucumber salad, Miso a little too garlicky for my taste. Switched to Korean Kimchi stew for my main course which was served piping hot and bubbling. Tried also their ahi nigiri. Overall very satisfying.
(5)Roy A.
Ate lunch there on Friday. The sushi was fantastic. Orders were larger than what I accustomed to. Tempura roll was my favorite. Between the four of us we had ahi, scallops, ika, umi, tempura roll, spicy ahi roll, vampire roll and Hawaiian roll. So good. Not a big seating area but a nice quiet environment. Free parking up the ramp.
(4)Kortnie B.
Absolutely delicious! We sat up at the sushi bar.. the chef/owner is extremely entertaining and a master at the art of sushi. Would come back daily if I lived here! Yummmmmm!!
(5)Bill M.
If I could have left no stars, I would have. There must be new owners because everything is different from 3 months ago. The sushi and the service were both bad. It used to be my favorite sushi place. We were there for over 30 minutes and this stupid kid says "did you need anything else." My wife says "yes, our dinner." He's like "uh oh." When we finally got our dinner it was overcooked. No apology. We'll never go back. We've been going there for years. It's a shame. We should have just sent the food back, but we were running late for a movie.
(1)Josephine R.
Great service!! Good sushi!! Sexy Jay and Bruce took over this sushi bar about 4 months ago. This is fresh and Delicious all you can eat for $26.95. We are happy to have found this place in Laughlin. You get a cucumber salad and miso soup with your meal. Jay will make any roll you desire, just ask him. will be back again.
(4)Nd L.
Located right accross the Pioneer Hotel right next to the river, my first thought was Laughlin 4 stars so about LA 3, but the foos shut me up. It is easily 4.5-5 star quality at any big metropolitan city like NY, LA, SF. All the fish was fresh and high quality and yes it was bit expensive but not much more expensive than quality sushi places in LA. This is not your discount sushi joints. We had Chirashi, 2 orders of Spicy Tuna roll, Hawaiian Roll, Udon, 2 orders of octopus sushi and Poke Salad and some drinks. They were all super fresh and excellent and great service. With each order they served us complimentary Miso soup and Cucumber salad (excellent...add some water and drink it as cold soup) It is Korean owned and Korean sushi chef so it has Korean dishes about 50% expensive than LA where as Sushis were comparable to quality (not discount) sushi restaurants in LA. I'm guessin it's because Korean dish don't get ordered as much. There were Bulgogi, Korean BBQ, Kimchi Jiggae from what I recall. We got to the place 30 min before closing (9pm) but they let us stay well past 10pm with absolutely no pressure to leave. I will definitely come back here next time I visit Laughlin and fee like eating some good Sushi. If you're hankering for awesome tasting and high quality sushi after boating in Laughlin, this is the place to come.

No license to serve beer today disappinted. Ordered steak/tempura Teri on the side. Teri was pineapple favor not my taste. Miso was bland not enough miso or sitting in pot too long. Wife got the Korean short ribs not much taste. Now I know why limited Asians in Laughlin,

We come here at least once a year during the river run. They always do custom orders no problem. The sushi is always cold and tastes good. Never have seen the same worker twice except for who I believe is the owner because he husband walked in last time and some locals went nuts because he sat at their table for a minute and entertained going to their poker game. All in all if you want sushi in Laughlin here you go!

Their jalapeño roll is the best I've ever tasted. I haven't found an eel sauce or eel that even comes close to their deliciousness. Between Kansas City and san diego, they are my favorite.

Best sushi your gonna get in Laughlin / Bullhead area. Staff was great with service, food would be 4 star and service 5. Try the avocado salad or sexi girl roll. Also kiren ichiban on tap goes great!

Great food - worth the visit. I accidentally left my credit card there and they generously mailed it back to me as well.

A definite hidden gem. It's expensive because you're in the middle of the desert, but it's the place to go if you're a little sick of the casino buffets and craving sushi. We didn't have a single bad roll here, it's all good. Our favorite roll by far is the Vampire roll, I highly recommend it.

Been here 3 times in the last year with mixed reviews. 2 out 3 times, sushi was good. My last time out, not so good, not that fresh. Does not compare to sushi restaurants in San Diego, LA, and Vegas. But if I'm in the mood for sushi and in Laughlin, don't have much of a choice. Chicken teriyaki was average at best. Price was a little higher than what I'm used to in Vegas. Gave them 3 stars because the service was good. By the way, rest room are in the hallway outside of the restaurant. So small, felt like I was in an airplane.

First time coming to Minato Sushi and it was so delicious! The sushi was great and really fresh and satisfying! I am definitely coming back for more when I visit Nevada. The service was pretty great and waitresses and waiters were really nice and friendly and kept up with our table the entire time. Anyone who hasn't been to Minato I highly recommend that you try it out for sure! Try the Havasu Roll and Laughlin Roll!!!

This is our go to for a good meal in Laughlin. Food is questionable at best at all of the casinos, buffets or mcdonalds, yuck. Minato is in a bit of a strange location, the second floor of a, well a strip mall. Shared access with a bar for the main entrance. Sushi there is well done, I see most people talk about their fried stuff, but I will have to tell you that their sashimi is really well done. It is very expensive in comparison to the casino crap food, and often for lunch a bill will be close to 100.00 for two people if you are only eating sushi/sashimi. We frequent this place quite often and I find the service pretty good. They do have some pretty nice lunch specials though, bento box type fare which we've done a few times as well. All in all a really good choice in Laughlin for people wanting a sushi fix. They have some really good korean food as well. Stop by if you are in Laughlin for a lunch special to try them out and order a roll on the side. You'll be happier than having a hot dog, or a cheeseburger from mcdonalds.

Check it out... About nine months or so later and I am still in love with this place! I just wish it wasn't so damn expensive. That is probably my only problem with this place. I got the orange chicken and my god I will never go near panda express ever again! It was like the holy grail of orange chicken! They give you a HUGE plate of it and an itty bitty thing of rice but I did ask for more :) Totally delicious and nice staff! I'm not a sushi person so I am pleased that they have yummy alternatives. :D

First visit. Superior customer service. Loved that they had Asahi on draft. My husband doesn't like big pieces of sushi so he was in heaven. Love that one order is 3 pieces. We will be back. Had the Arizona Roll and Hold em Roll both were excellent.

went here with some friends for lunch. we ordered the cucumber salad and vegetable tempura which was very good. for our main courses we ordered the crunch roll spider roll and vampire roll. all of them were delicious. the waitress was wonderful always checking with us to see if we needed anything and constantly filled our water glasses. i would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting. ****update: I come here all the time I've always had good food and good service. They now have an all you eat deal which is well worth if you know your going to eat a lot.
