Sorry but I had to update my review and only give them 2 stars because the woman at the counter is seriously always short with me. Also, she put too much chai in my cup this last time and when I touched the cap it burned my hand. Then she was annoyed that I asked her for a napkin. Another thing she always does is ask for a tip. I feel like it really ruins the vibe of the place, which is a shame because the man that works there is great and it's a really nice little shop. In a small town like Taos there's no reason to be so on edge with customers. Last thing that dissapointed me though was that I realized they don't use organic milk/cream in their drinks.

This coffee shop was located across the street from the hotel we stayed. Quick and easy walk for my morning cup of java. The duo working the shop were pleasant and patient. I ask a lot of questions, I admit, I'm probably kinda annoying. Anyway, they were really nice and the coffee was good and reasonably priced. We got some baked goods which were a bit on the pricy side but tasted good. There was an almond brownie which I fell in love with. We also purchased a breakfast burrito (with bacon) which I found to be absolutely delicious. There was green chilie sprinkled in with the egg and potato which was just the perfect amount to accent the burrito. Also, the tortilla got just a bit soggy from being wrapped in the foil and that seemed to really appeal to me as well. The décor is very southwest. It's a pretty small shop but cozy and quaint.

Great dark roast coffee and Mexican Cocoa with friendly, hard working staff. Beautifully decorated as well, especially the bathroom. Noticed a computer and printer available for a small fee. Cozy and relaxing, too.

I like to stop here when visiting Taos, it's not pretentious; the coffee is good and the servers friendly. Today I had an iced latte and it's strong, not overpowered with milk like some other placed!

Conveniently located on the southern end of the town, the unpretentious baristas were upbeat and positive that Monday morning. They had our orders (hot tea and a cafe latte) ready quickly and accurately. The interior is cute with everything wood, including the low ceiling's log beams and smattering of tables and chairs. There is a small seating area out in front as well. I was surprised by how many customers were just hanging out in there having leisurely conversations rather than trying to get to work since it was Monday, but I appreciated that it meant that regulars and locals felt comfortable lounging around in this shop. I watched enviously as another patron accepted a nice looking breakfast burrito. Free wifi from what I could tell. Paved parking lot (for you motorcyclists). I'd totally go back.

Good coffee and good service. The barista explained what he could do very clearly when my wife asked about the Mexican Cocoa and coffee.

Good drip coffee with variety of food options. Breakfast burrito was good but a bit overpriced for its contents.

my boyfriend and I get coffee here all the time. The owner and manager are the best. friendly atmosphere and the best coffee around.

Expensive but the really rude barista made it unpleasant. Refused to add half and half to a traditional espresso macchiato "it will not foam"--a different planet maybe. Avoid the hassle --go somewhere else.

Great small coffee shop, very earthy furniture and feel. Coffee was excellent with amazing atmosphere including live music on a Saturday afternoon.

Overpriced food that is not made to order. Very good coffee and nice music selection playing; however, I can't give more than one star due to the entire experience. The people in front of me paid $21.03 for their order! What the heck did they order? The two people in line after us had an order that was over $30. I ordered two breakfast burritos (the price is not listed on the menu) and two 16 oz. coffees. My order was $17.63! Apparently the burritos are $5.99 each and are pre-made each morning and then wrapped in foil (where they steam until purchased). When I unwrapped my burrito I immediately noticed a soggy tortilla which did not entirely deter me, yet one bite of very, very dry potatoes that were flavorless left me very disappointed and I took them back to the counter. The woman at the front counter gave me my money back but seemed offended and made sure to tell me I was the first person to return burritos. She also would not take the burritos from me and pushed them back to me when I placed them in the counter telling me I can go ahead and keep them. I threw them away. She definitely could have handled it in a much kinder and more professional way.

Fantastic! Great coffee. I think the owner works the counter and she cares about the service and the product. It's nice to see that. The only thing is they're not open on Sunday...

The coffee itself was delicious. Ive hit every coffee place in Taos on this trip. The flavor of my 4 shot latte was memorable. As in delicious. I didnt mention any other coffee shop. The decore is impressive from a woodworkers stand point. The lady with the prostate examination gloves at the register was a little awkward. But the service was good. They have apricot bread!
