Santa Fe Stay has a number of excellent, well-maintained and fabulously equipped properties in Santa Fe, available for daily, weekly or longer-term rental. My husband and I stayed at the 636 Garcia Street #3 guest house for the Christmas holidays, and found the casita to be warm, inviting, spotless and filled with everything you could want for a few days of exploring The City Different. It's a short walk from Canyon Road and The Plaza, the two magnets that are must-do's while visiting here. The kitchen is small but contains everything you need, from coffee maker to microwave to stove and oven (gas). Plenty of dishes, linens and a full spice rack, plus emergency rations like pasta and tunafish. The floor is brick throughout, the furnishings are plush and comfy, and there are two enormous oversized chairs for reading in the kiva-fireplace dominated living/dining room. A big wooden table can seat up to 8 easily, and the sofa is a queen sleeper. The view of the sunny courtyard is charming and inviting in the front, which faces east, and there's a small patio out the back for relaxing in warmer weather. The bedroom is spacious with copious closet areas and multiple dressers and the Queen bed is firm and wonderful. There's a skylight above the bed with a screen to allow sleeping in! The bathroom is tidy and cozy, with a window letting in all the glorious morning sunshine. All in all, this is a delightful casita, with a southwestern feel and modern conveniences like satellite TV, WiFi and a BOSE sound system. There are plenty of books to browse and the quietude of the place is marvelous, Would definitely stay here again!
