Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

Food was marginally good but not fresh. Appeared to have been warmed up before I ordered. Chicken was dried out and the cheese rubbery and barely edible. The there was the lackluster service. She seemed like it was a big bother taking time with us. We will not be back- if that tells you anything.

The burgers were so great and tasty!!!! But service was horrible for only us (a party of 3) and another gentlemen really at least come check on your table at least once!!!

Service was pretty good on a Saturday night (not too many people here). I received prompt service and attention. The 2 servers that night were attentive and hard working. They both worked together as a team to make sure I had my questions answered and were patient while I examined the menu. I received the free chips + queso for checking into the establishment - the cheese was textured funny and didn't resemble nacho cheese. It was kinda spicy, but I recommend opting for the salsa next time. I ended up ordering the 12 oz Milagro Burger and was very happy with it. I could tell by the sizzling thick slices of bacon that it was made fresh. When it came to price though, I don't know if I'd pay $13 for this. I was planning to use my Yelp $5 for $10 coupon, but saw it didn't apply on Fri/Sat when I came in. I ended up paying full price, but I came in after church to try the Bacon Cheddar Avocado Burger (the other one that looked super good). More to review later.

I came in on a quiet Monday evening an just decided to check this place out. I got the most popular thing on the menu (Milagro Burger) 1/2 pound with everything that it comes with. I didn't have any issues with the service but it's probably because it wasn't busy at all. Let's talk about the burger; it was delicious. Every bite was a mouth full of flavor and different textures. The bacon was cooked to perfection, it was very crispy but was not burnt at all. The meat was well seasoned and flavored. Everything else just blended together perfectly. It's a bit pricey for a half pound burger in my opinion, but definitely something worth trying!

Delicious smothered steak with green chile and cheese. I was told that all the recipes were handed down to the owner from her Grandma. Man, you can tell that this food is made with the love and respect a long family tradition of recipes deserve! They have been here SEVEN years, so glad I didn't skip a beat on final trying it. TRUE northern New Mexico food. Love it!

I don't know about "the best burgers in town" but El Milagro has some of the best New Mexican food in town! Local, small, family-owned, great homemade food.

OK, I'll admit that the first time I came to this restaurant, I wasn't too impressed with the service, but a friend encouraged me to go back and that's when I discovered their amazing hamburgers! I love them, they're made to order with a couple really good ones on their menu that SERIOUSLY put Bobcat Bite on the other side of town in their sights. And the last time I was at El Milagro, I tried their amazing tamales which totally rank in the same level as my three other favorite tamale places in this town. I have to ding them a star for no free WiFi, but that's how I roll... With constant internet access always on my mind.

Promises "the best burgers in town." I don't know about that but they were really good. Fresh and hot (so hot we has to let them sit for a minute to cool off!) Fries appeared fresh cut. We didn't try any of the Mexican dishes but they sounded and looked wonderful too. Several comments have been made here of the lady working the dining room. We found her to the fast and efficient, and what some may take as rude, I thought to be simply busy. She is the hostess, waitress, bus the tables and cashier. When we smiled and joked a bit, she was pleasant and funny...just didn't have a lot of time for chit-chat.

I had the green chile burger and it was huge and good. As far as the best burgers in town.... I dunno about that. It was above average for sure, but the best in town is a pretty big shoe to fill in my opinion. You shouldn't leave disappointed, but I doubt you'll think its the best you've ever had unless you've never been outside of Santa Fe. Ive heard the chicken tacos are great too. Prices are above average for a burger so be prepared.

Small place tucked away by the movie theater. Some friends and I went before a movie and we enjoyed the food and service. The burgers were some of the best we had ever had. I loved the green chili cheeseburger. The fresh fries were also great! The service was friendly. We will definitely return!

Not sure what happened this place. It used to be good. Last two times I was very disappointed and I feel deserves1 or 2 stars. I'm giving it a three since I'm hoping they can improve. Last two times my burger was over done and coldish. (They can never cook the burger to order so why even ask how I want it cooked?) The fry's were cold and tasted like yesterdays fry's. The service was friendly but slow. They never ask if everything okay. Not the best burger in town as they claim.

I disagree. My husband I just stumbled upon this place yesterday. We're visiting from the Washington DC area and while lookikng for some place to eat, we ended up here. I know bad service and am the first to call it out, but the older Swedish lady who was working the host stand and also waitressing was very nice. Maybe if you come when it's really busy (we were there around 1p) and she's the only one working, it might be bad, but we had quite a total opposite experience. The food was decent, I wouldn't say great. My husband loved the home made taco shells and the sopapilla was pretty tasty.

I just ate at El Milagro Saturday and the food was great. I had a stacked chicken enchilada with red chili plus posole and beans as sides. Service was good, quick, and friendly. it's not a chain but family owned. I wish we had one in AZ

This place has the worst customer service ever!!! We have been denied service twice. They have decent food, but you got to ask yourself if decent food is really worth putting up with horrible service? Also once you order it takes 45 minutes to 1 hour to get your food. I would not recommend this joke of a restaurant to my worst enemy!!!!

Best burgers in Santa Fe! I have never had to wait too long and the customer service has been great every time.

super delicious green chile burgers and red chile dogs. awesome service with a friendly smile. the only downside is when it gets loud, it's just a big square room so the noise is a little much. still worth a visit.

If you want a super quick meal, do to McDonalds. We have been to El Milagro's several times for lunch and we have been seated, served and paid in 45 minutes. Our favorite is the green chile cheese burger. It's big. My husband and I split it.
(3)Vanessa M.
Loved the burger! The taste is great! Their service is also great. Kids deals are DEALS! Both my daughters loved it too. And none of us were able to finish our burgers either. They were big. :) Definitely a fan.

A sidewalk restaurant with some tables big enough to seat families. One of our servers smelled like an ashtray, but was nice, and filled our drinks on time. The Salsa was a bit average, which was okay. Our food looked good and was delivered in a timely manner, but also tasted average. I have no complaints, but I'm not impressed either.

I ate at Milagros my brother and I. The food was awful. I do not recommend this place nor will I go back and pay money for something I can't even eat.
