High Cholesterol at Whataburger

Calorie intake is the main concern for people with high cholesterol while dining at a fast-food restaurant like Whataburger. Well, you can always try the Lighter & Smaller options from the menu to cut down your fat intake. Opting for grilled sandwich or burgers are preferred compared to double meat or triple meat cheesy burgers which contain high cholesterol.

Very good - especially for a fast food restaurant. The service was really good. My mother and I were pretty confused since we're from out of town and the lady at the counter was very patient, explaining what was in everything to a t. We had the 2 carne asada tacos plate - there's cilantro, pico, and onions. The meat was a little hard and not very flavored but the other fixings balance it all out very nicely. We opted out of the beans but the rice was very flavorful - a little more kick to it than many other places. We got some green sauce on the side - it was very spicy, but also very good. I wish I could buy a bucket-full. We also had the carne asada fries - sour cream and cheese melted everywhere - pretty heavenly. Price is pretty great too ~$20 to overstuff a family of 3.

I love this place. Unfortunately, they've drastically cut down on the bacon in the breakfast burritos. I'd be surprised if the amount in the entire, large burrito equaled a 1/2 strip of bacon. I can only give it an ok for now. Please go back to the original amount of bacon. Delicious red sauce!

Really tasty veggie burrito and green chile good cheaper than el parasol and much more filling . Decor is ok but you come for the food and they know it. There's free sour cream and guac , at no extra charge wow all at only $4.50!! Man so good!!

Bland. Not worth it when you have so many other options here. We only went because El Parasol and The Burrito Co. were closed. Flavorless burrito and carne asada taco was full of weird gristle meat. Pico de gallo did not even have jalapeños.

I've seen this building go through countless businesses, yet the most memorable to me is the rise of Burrito Spot. In the mid 00's, Mexican-owned businesses began to proliferate down Cerillos road. A restaurant by the name of Burrito Depot opened up much like any other Mexican fast food joint and, like many other new businesses, it closed rather quickly. Shortly thereafter the letters 'D' and 'E' on the back-lit Burrito Depot street sign were crudely obscured by a vinyl decal bearing the letter 'S' and thus, Burrito Spot was born. Not ever having been a regular at the Depot, I cannot attest as to weather or not the two businesses were drastically different operations, but if success is any indicator, Burrito Spot is a cut above. They were once open 24 hours and that probably led to a lot of their success. Their burritos are delicious and authentically Mexican (not New Mexican!) and are not only affordable but large as well. I highly recommend their breakfast burritos (add refried beans, trust me!) and their vegetarian burrito options which are ample. The burritos are so good I have literally not tried the rest of their menu. Fast food automatically gets a 1 star ding from me but the recent change in hours and inconsistent meat-quality take them down another star. That being said a letter B with beans will always have a place in my heart with their delicious red or green chile sauces. For those who have little concern regarding dietary restrictions I would place Burrito Spot as one of the go-to fast food spots in Santa Fe, right up there with Dion's and Lota Burger.

"Give me convenience or give me death" Great words spoken by a great American -Jello Biafra. That's what Burrito Spot is all about, convenience. That's not all though, they have really tasty Mexican fast food at a great price.... with a Drive-Thru. What more do you need to know? Nothing. There is no company mascot nor fancy printed bags or cups with their logo on it. It's clean and plain and no frills cheap Mexican fast food. There is something important you should know about this place though... $2.99 breakfast burritos from 6am-11am. Bam! That, my friend, is awesome because its a great breakfast burrito for when you're on the go and don't have time for a sit down smothered breakfast burrito like you'd enjoy at Tia Sophia's. Other things on the menu include tacos, enchiladas, and tortas. It's all good and it's priced right and ready when you want it. I dunno why I'm so gung-ho about the BS, but I am. It's one location within a small chain here in SFe, and I cannot vouch for other locations because like all things in life consistency varies wherever you go. If you need something to compare it to, I will say that their burritos here are bigger, better, and cheaper than El Parasol. Plus they have a drive thru with an intercom you can place an order at instead of a phone ahead drive thru like at EL P -just sayin'. Oh and I also recommend the California Burrito, that is one tasty fracking burrito. Also, beware the red sauce. That mf is hotter than hell, but really good too. The green is definitely on the mild side. And I call it sauce because it is not 'chile' because this is not New Mexican food it's Mexican food and they serve sauce (or salsa) on the side to add to your food to spice it up as needed, it is not an integral part of the dish like chile is. I hope you enjoy the BS as much as I do. Cheers!

This is pretty much a no-frills Mexican fast food joint. For fast food, this is some pretty good stuff. It's priced very reasonably and you probably will eat for $4-$7. I've certainly eaten at some sit-down Mexican restaurants that charged twice as much as this "fast food" place does and gotten worse versions of these same dishes that took five times longer to prepare. It's not going to blow your mind, but it's extremely convenient, cheap, and still manages to be actually good. That's good enough for me in a lot of situations where I'm not looking for a full sit-down meal.

They may have gotten our order wrong by missing a taco but this is any risk a fast-food-eater takes. Burrito Spot has delicious burritos that fill your stomach for an excellent price. This place may not satisfy a picky eater, but if you enjoy good food, you'll love it! I'll definitely stop here more than once in the future!

First time to visit Santa Fe...and love to go to local spots. Food was made for each order and quite flavorful and authenic tasting. We were full and ready to hit the road. Will be back!

My husband and are here being tourists. We have eaten at the Burrito Spot three times. The help was friendly, the food was just terrific and the prices great for the quality of food. We had Burritos once, rolled tacos once, and Chimichangas once. The exact place was on the corner of Cerrillos and Cordova. Loved it! I do want to say that we did not eat there because we didn't want to spend money, as that had nothing to do with it.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
