High Cholesterol at Whataburger

Calorie intake is the main concern for people with high cholesterol while dining at a fast-food restaurant like Whataburger. Well, you can always try the Lighter & Smaller options from the menu to cut down your fat intake. Opting for grilled sandwich or burgers are preferred compared to double meat or triple meat cheesy burgers which contain high cholesterol.

Foods to Avoid at Whataburger for High Cholesterol

Cut down on your meat intake to control your high cholesterol. You must skip Double Meat Whataburger and Triple Meat Whataburger at all costs. Whatacatch Dinner may sound tempting but the famous fish sandwich is also full of calories and unhealthy fat. Lastly, avoid French Fries and Onion Rings at Whataburger if you are already ordering a burger or any other heavy meal.

This is a "must stop" whenever I'm in Roswell. Excellent food and great people. I love family-run restaurants! All their food is delicious, and the quesadillas are especially outstanding. Friendly service, reasonable prices, great food. What more could you want? YUM!!

Horrible. Machine sliced potatoes. Maybe 1/4 cup egg. They didn't even fold the burrito.

Showed up at 6 am and there was already people in the drive-thru, so I thought that they must make a good burrito. I should have read the reviews. Egg, sausage and chile was tasteless and cold. They had forgotten to add chile, but I don't think it would have helped. Chile relleno Burrito was below average, but it was at least warm. Coffee was weak, but it was hot. Not sure why there was a line.

The burritos and other food here are pretty good, however they tend not to be so "express" at Burrito Express. Perhaps a better name is "Burrito Apathetic." If you like their food try the Burrito Express on the South end of town by the airport. They are truly a "Burrito Express."

S-L-O-W. And they don't care that they are slow. I have complained several times to them over the last few years about their lack of speed as well as their lackadaisical attitude toward this continuing problem. The name of the place is downright COMICAL considering how slow they are! Every time I came to this place resulted in longer and longer times between visits. At some point you need to put your foot down and say NEVER AGAIN. To be fair, there is nothing wrong with their food. In fact, the made-on-site tortillas and the refried beans are quite tasty. But their food is simply NOT worth putting up with their AGONIZINGLY SLOW service. Or their inflated prices. And they CHARGE EXTRA for salsa??? Does ANYONE ELSE do that? Anywhere? Over the years I have offered suggestions on how to speed up their drive-thru. Move their menu back further, open a second window for order-taking (or install a speaker). But they maintain their RIDICULOUS drive-thru setup of coming to the only window, ordering, then the order-taker asks you to go park in one of the designated "drive-thru" spots-- where they make you wait 15-20 minutes EVERY TIME until you are forced to get out of your car, march into the restaurant and ask about your food. Then you have to wait another 5-10 minutes. Sorry. Not any more. I've had it. It has been this way for years; I'm sure it will continue being this way until they've lost enough customers to impact the way they do business. There are MUCH BETTER mexican food places in town. Cheaper and MUCH faster. I highly recommend The Red Onion, Los Cerritos, Pepper's, and La Escondida. Burrito Ex(cuse) is only worth the visit if you have PLENTY of time and are not super-hungry. I would give them one and half stars if I could, but they are simply not worth 2-stars.

Gave a order on phone and went their after 15 mins. Still had to wait 15 mins to get my burrito (food not worth of 30 mins of wait). Morning is busy there so order over the phone if you can. But the burritos are worth waiting for!

They make there tortillas on site, and it shows. Also, the shredded beef is delicious. We usually end up sharing a shredded beef quesadilla when we go. Wayyyy more food than one person can eat! You can order any breakfast burro all day. Good stuff!

Dear owner, please look up the definition of a burrito in Wikipedia, and then you might either want to change your name, or actually start making burritos. This is not a burrito, this is a rolled taco thingy. Burritos by definition are tortillas COMPLETELY ENCASING THE FILLING SO NONE FALLS OUT AS YOU EAT IT! I thought someone was trying to trick me. Another reviewer wrote that they don't know how to fold burritos, and I thought maybe his fell apart. Nope. They actually fold the burritos like they are a quesadilla. The end result is a burrito/quesadilla thingy that falls all over the place and is impossible to eat. Also, I order the steak, and it is just like pot roast, which another review also said. Probably one of the worst burritos I have ever had. The lettuce and cheese could not be found, and it was very lacking in flavor other than the taste of pot roast. This is no where near a burrito. I can't believe someone in the kitchen isn't like "WTF"? Why do we not fold burritos the proper way? Even taco bell can do it. I would rate taco bells burritos a 10 compared to this place. The service though was quite friendly. I won't ever be back again though, and I highly recommend you skip it if you want an actual burrito. Also, I was amazed at how tiny the burrito was for being called a "deluxe" burrito. It was probably as big as a seven layer burrito from taco bell. Darn.

Definitely not good Mexican food, by New Mexico or any standard -but also not horrible. Very bland, neither the red nor the green chile has much character. Prices are probably a little high for the quality.

This was the weirdest "steak" burrito I ever had. I thought of it more as an Amish pot roast burrito. I ordered the steak combo with green chile. It was filled with beef pot roast...you know, you put a chunk of beef in a pot with potatoes, carrots and gravy...let it stew for a while...well, that was what my burrito was filled with...slow-cooked beef with gravy and potatoes. Since it tasted exactly like pot roast, I was surprised not to see carrots in there, too. I saw no cheese or green chile. The flavor resembled nothing Mexican. And I never had that kind of brown gravy in a burrito before. And what happened to the "steak" part? If you want an actual Mexican-style steak burrito, go elsewhere. If you want an Amish pot roast burrito, this is the place for you. I won't be back.

Not that great. I won't go back. All potatoes, not much green chili, boring. Kinda expensive.

The sopapilla, sorry if i spell it wrong, was great. Very fresh & soft. Also the salsa was given a 5 by my heat loving wife. But, the tacos were not very good. Way way way over priced for what you get, which was two small tacos for $9.. I can make my own at home for much cheaper and much better tasting. If we go again it will only be to go and get the salsa.

Wasn't impressed with the burritos. More potato than meat and it took forever to get my order. I asked for sour cream to be added and I paid extra for it and both my burritos didn't have sour cream unless the potatoes soaked it up. The cheese enchiladas were not fresh and the rice was burnt and had no flavor. I will not be going back. Staff was friendly and that was the only thing they had going for them.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
