**AMAZING PIE** i don't usually use the word "charming" to describe non-people, but this cafe is definitely charming. it's off the villanueva exit on I-25, about 20 min from las vegas and 30 min. from santa fe, surrounded by gorgeous NM scenery. family run + owned, the staff are super nice + there's local art for sale on the walls. both indoor + outdoor seating (in a covered patio). my partner loved his pork medallions; my beef tacos were ok, could've used more flavor in ground beef, but what we really loved were their pies, which are the best pies we've had in NM. we split a triple berry pie w/homemade whipped cream + took a mexican chocolate mousse pie (w/cinnamon whipped cream) to go. villanueva state park is about 10 miles down the road, so you can go walk around for a bit, then feast on pie at the cafe. looking forward to coming back soon! hours: open march-nov, closed mon-wed 11am-8pm thurs- sat 8am-6pm- sun
