Stopped by here as it seemed to be the only decent restaurant in a small town that I stopped at overnight. Turned out it was more than decent. The people were extremely friendly and no doubt they brought their southern charm to hobbs. I got the gumbo which had great pieces of sausage and chicken. They claimed it was the remaining meat from the bottom of the pot and not as tasty. My mouth salivates thinking what the "good" meat would have tasted like. Yum My girlfriend got chicken tenders with shoestring onion rings. Perfectly fried, light and moist. One of our favorites on our entire roadtrip which, did I mention, was a complete circle across the US... It's a shame they are in a small town where people may not be exposed to this great truck.

First, let me start by saying this, I was born in New Orleans, went to LSU, and now live in Shreveport. So my Louisiana credentials are not to be questioned. With that said, this place is an awesome surprise. The wait staff is super friendly. The food was not the best I've ever had but it was a good, solid representation of what Cajun food is supposed to taste like. The étouffée was good. The catfish and shrimp were very good as well. The Gator bites were a touch over cooked. They have a secret sauce that is similar to Cane's sauce. My only complaint is, I wish they served the étouffée in some type of combo with with shrimp or fish. Other than that, I would defiantly recommend this place to anyone craving a creole taste.

Real authentic Cajun food made with food imported all the way from Louisiana. I had the crawfish étouffée sauce on tender fried catfish and mmmmmmm so good!

Good fried catfish! Their jambalaya is very good, spicy, but so good. They also have gator bits, I will try those next. Very sweet owners!
