I really like the frozen yogurt. It is creamier than your typical frozen yogurt like menchies and golden spoon. They have a lot of toppings which is great. It is a colorful place with disney movies showing. The only thing that I dislike about sweet cece's here is that the past three times that I've gone, the employees looked like they hated their lives. I mean, how bad can it be to sell frozen yogurt? It is supposed to be a happy place. Maybe I got unlucky and maybe they had a bad day but goodness....it's a frozen yogurt store.

It is rather hard to find this place. There is Jimmy John's (gross!) and we thought Cece's was inside. But no, it is around the back. Ok, lots of seating and lots of shade in the outdoor seating. Very clean inside. I'm not going to talk about the "cute" ambiance or how pricey it is per ounce. After all who cares about "cute" and who knows just how much you get in an ounce. What I will talk about is 1) Really good and tasty flavors 2) "no sugar added" yogurt availability 3) lot's of topping choices and 4) Priciness. Ok, so first, it is a self serve store. You get your cup to the left of the yogurt dispensers and fill up your cup. The dispensers are divided into groups of three. The left handle is one flavor, the right handle is another flavor and the middle handle is mixed flavors (They also have "dividers" available if you want two flavors but don't want them mixing together). Their flavors are really good, stronger than any others I've had elsewhere and their yogurt does not taste overly sugary like some others I've had either. Some other places I've been the yogurt is so sugary that it hurts my teeth. They have tons of fresh fruit toppings, baked toppings, nuts, and "different" toppings like rock candy, pop rocks, etc. The caveat is that the yogurt is priced by weight. You get to the register and place your cup on a scale. Now, comparatively, about the same amount of yogurt (medium average amount - about the equivalent of two scoops of ice cream) plus a couple of scoops of fruit and or nuts, would cost us 5-6 dollars elsewhere, here, the price came to over 8 dollars (almost 9). We lucked out as we got the coupon price and so it only came to 5-something each. But wow. $5, overpriced, but not totally ridiculous. Over $5,... mmmm No! Keep your eyes peeled for coupons or discounts!

Cute ambiance and decor. Good selection of ice-creams on tap. One had the choice to sample as well in order to pick the right one. If a place has a tart ice-cream...I will give it a high review as this is rare and an absolute must. If they also have peanut butter sauce they have my heart forever!!! I have seen too maby places to get rid of the peanut sauce due to peanut allergies, which is a sad day for those who absolutely love it. Then there is the cereal bar with some chocolate balls opinions. It has all your best known cereal types abd more. The next stop is the fruit and candy bar. Pick fresh fruits and top your ice-cream with more. After you are done decorating your ice-cream, the staff weighs your ice-cream and you pay by zhe ounce. Yummy!

Good frozen yogurt but the price is more expensive than comparable froyo places in other towns/cities. Still, 4 stars because nothing beats nice original tart (not as into the other flavors) with loads of toppings and fruit on a hot summer day. And good rewards program.

I love Jimmy Johns (next door) and eat there almost every time I go to LC, and today I was there and had an urgent need to go online for work, so I went next door to Sweet CeCe's only because they have free wi-fi, and I'm glad I did because I really enjoyed the frozen yogurt! I tried the Caramel Pretzel and the Dulce de Leche flavors, I was in a caramell-y mood, both were very yummy, but the Caramel Pretzel was a very distinct flavor, perfect mix of sweet and salty. Great variety of toppings available too, I hadn't run into yogurt-covered pop rocks until now! The decor is, well... frozen yogurt-ish, but somehow still collegial, with a good variety of seating or lounging options. Apparently it's a chain, but not one I'd seen before, guy working there said they are the western-most location, cool! Glad I stopped by, I'll be coming back again, and thanks for the wi-fi!

I'm a froyo snob. I may have taken a cooler with me on my last trip to Tucson so I could bring back three containers of Pinkberry-to-go. That is how desperate I was to have legit froyo in Cruces. So, Sweet CeCe's? SWEET DELIVERANCE! At least, mostly. Let me tell you more. 1) Most of the yogurt flavors are too... well... sweet for my taste. I prefer the crisp, refreshing tartness of Pinkberry (and their shaved milk chocolate - the perfect texture to eat with froyo!). Sweet CeCe's does have a pretty good original tart, and the mango sorbet is up my alley. They have a ton of toppings - if you like sugary cereal on your sugary yogurt - which thankfully includes a halfway decent selection of fresh fruit. 2) They have been somewhat spastic in changing out flavors - multiple times a week, with some only running for a day or two! I'd prefer more consistent flavor choices, with maybe half of the flavors never being changed and the other half being rotated on a monthly basis. I guess it is fun to try something new, but as I said before, I find most of their flavors too sweet (as if you're eating frozen, flavored, mysteriously fat-free whipped cream). 3) It's self-serve in a dangerously oversized cup, and steeply priced at about $0.50/ounce (though this isn't actually written anywhere - I had to calculate it). The levers dispense yogurt CRAZY fast so it's easy to get more than you intended. But, there is always a nice employee offering samples as you arrive, and there doesn't appear to be an official limit on how many flavors you can try. 4) You can follow them on facebook and learn about special discounts, new flavors, etc. You can also get a loyalty card (buy 10 cups, get $5 free... though $5 won't buy a full-to-the-brim cup, so be careful). Students can get double points on the card with student ID. So, the verdict? Definitely worth it, especially if you live/work on/near NMSU. Sweet CeCe's will be my saving grace when the 90+ temperatures arrive in May and don't leave until September. But, just between you and me, I am still hoping for Pinkberry to come to Las Cruces one of these days.

So we've been stopping by the location every couple weeks to see when they would be open, and sure enough sometime this past week they opened their doors for business. Since we live on the NMSU campus, places like this appeal to me and my family, and my wife in particular is a big fan of self-serve yogurt in general. So tonight we stopped in and gave it a try. We came away less than fully impressed, but I'll just run down the pluses and minuses and you can decide for yourself. + Friendly and attentive staff Ok, maybe you can chalk this up to it just being their first week and of course they want to make a good impression, but everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. There was someone at the front register, another stocking toppings, and a third giving samples and monitoring the yogurt dispensers. Everyone got all the samples they wanted and the topping bins were stocked and clean. + Variety of flavors There were nine different flavors of yogurt (ten, but two were just different varieties of vanilla, one being sugar free.) There were fruit flavors, chocolate and vanilla, and some others like cake batter and coffee. There was something to suit pretty much every taste. The same can be said for the toppings. There was pretty much everything you could imagine... nuts, dry cereals, fruit, fudge and caramel sauce, you name it. + Atmosphere I typically wouldn't talk about something like this at a dessert bar, but in this case I think it matters. When the weather heats up and you want a place to relax and enjoy something cool and refreshing, CeCe's provides it. There are the usual tables and chairs, but also a few couches and plush chairs to sit in also. The interior is cool and comfortable and would provide a nice place to just sit and escape from the desert heat for a while. - Price All that being said, CeCe's is a little on the pricey side. You pay by the ounce (although strangely the receipt lists the price per POUND, so we had to do a little math) which comes out to $0.52 per ounce. This is a bit steep. Our favorite self-serve back in Arizona is only about $0.40 an ounce. I know it isn't really THAT much of a difference, but it is a little off-putting, and I suppose it depends on what you are used to and what your expectations are. For us, it was a little too high. - Yogurt just isn't that good While we only purchased one flavor of yogurt, we did sample almost all of them, and they could all be summed up about the same... overly sweet and lacking overall flavor. The first thing you taste with pretty much each flavor is "sweet." And yeah, it's dessert and it's supposed to be sweet, but in this case it overpowered most of the other flavors. The peach didn't taste peach, it tasted "sweet." This also made the somewhat higher price hard to "swallow." If the yogurt tasted better to us, we'd feel better about the price. So there you have it. Will we be back? Probably at some point. Being so close by, it's inevitable we'll find our way there every now and then. But now you can decide for yourself if it's worth the trip for you.

First of all, forget about trying to find a parking space. But if you're on foot or bike, this place is worth a visit. So far my favorite flavor yogurt is the peanut butter, which actually tastes like peanut butter. And there's an enormous variety of toppings to choose from, including fresh fruit like berries which would normally be expensive; little squares of cheesecake; and every kind of cereal and candy and ground up cookie. The self serv dispensers for the toppings are aesthetically pleasing and the store has comfortable chairs and not overly loud music. Yes, it's expensive, but so is baskin Robbins. You want cheap, buy a gallon of ice cream and keep it in the fridge.

YUM! Went to Sweet CeCe's for the first time this weekend. Was a Sweet Surprise!! Very cute decor to begin with, and the staff was very pleasant in showing us the ropes and giving us tastes! I got the plain Egg Nog! TOO BADD this is seasonal, it is so good! My son loved the Cake Batter...that he was able to load with Oreo's and cherries! We paid just over $5 for both of our fill!! Will definitely be back!

I adore this fun little shop. Vastly superior to Yogoberry, and much cheaper. It is a cafeteria-style, self-serve set-up. Your yogurt is weighed at the end. An average portion will run around $3.25. Not bad at all. Very friendly staff, and adorable decorations.

They FINALLY opened! There was so much excitement surrounding the opening of a new frozen yogurt place. Did they live up to the hype? hmm the jury is still out. When I went there was an man working right at the yogurt levers, and he was a little aggressive in his sales techniques. The whole point is supposed to be that it's self-serve, and I don't exactly want to hear the history of the franchise. They have a great selection of toppings and the fruit tastes fresh. The prices are a bit steep, but it's nice that they have a rewards card and that students get double points!
