SCRUMPTUOUS DRIVE THRU ONLY MEXICAN FARE. No lousy fast food here! The same quality food as in their restaurant, quick service. You can also pick up fresh that day tortillas! My husband's company has ordered their food for business events, my students have brought their food to class potlucks. We zip through their drive-up quite often, love their food.

The take out version of the restaurant. When I was in college this was the best for me. I would call in and pick up! The website says this place does not open until 11 or 10, but this location is open at 7 am for breakfast! The only drawback is you can only get the sopas plain. If you want cinnamon and sugar you have to go to the restaurant. The staff here is fast, friendly, and courteous. Another great feature that this "to go" restaurant has is outdoor seating! Newly added! We took our dog with us last trip to Las Cruces. Coming in we had stopped at Sparky's for take out and ate at the hotel, but leaving I wanted to sit. But as many pet travelers know that is not convenient in most areas (except Taos). This place was perfect! The restaurant has a nice cover for parking and shade. We parked, rolled down the windows in our vehicle and the dog was happy. He could see us, but was not too interested in sitting outside on cement. The tables outside are small so fortunately during summer no one else was out there so we spread out, but the tables are the right size for two meals on the table. I of course had to have chips and salsa because that is my favorite at both locations! For quick food to go, or food to order and sit outside with your pet Si Senor Express is the place to go in Las Cruces!!!

This place is so good! We've been countless times. The food is super quick but doesn't lack quality or taste at all. Their guacamole green salsa is a must try. We've tried nearly everything on the menu between our four family members. No complaints - - they serve chips & salsas with each order as well as sopa's. Mmmm....

No time to dine in. Chose this location over the full service restaurant down the street. Food was ready pretty quickly. Food quality was very poor. Even though the food was still hot when we got home, it tasted soo bad! Beans were dry, rice tasted burned from the steam warmers, my combo included a taco that was mushy and fell apart before the first bite. If youre in a hurry, dont count on freshness at this location.

Good food but problematic service every single time. I love the convenience, food, generous chips and dips that come with the food. However, you BETTER check your order before leaving. So often they "forget" to put the plasticware in the bag with the food. Hello? Kind of very important. Often I find a completely different order than what I actually ordered too. I'd suggest going inside to order and checking your order completely before you leave. Force them to wait while you do it. Don't know why they are disorganized in this place. If the food wasn't so good I sure wouldn't go back again. Get it together folks! Take out only BTW.

You know, that was a damn tasty green chile burrito. For $4.00 it's more than you'll pay at a lot of places in town, but the chile was delicious. Really good chile has a kind of fruity sweetness from the peppers and onions. Lots of places don't manage it, but these guys do. Definitely going back here. As the other reviewers mention, it's take-out only.

Si Senor 'To Go' - This is the 'fast food' take out restaurant version of Si Senor Restaurant which is right across the street (catercorner). The food tastes the same to me, but it is whipped up quick and at a really good price considering all that you get. Si Senor pretty much has the best overall Mexican food in Las Cruces. Everything is pretty decent and nothing really disappoints. Their green chile dishes, especially are really good. And their salsas are the best in town. Always a thumbs up! There are parking spaces if you want to order inside, but this is strictly a 'take out' restaurant - there are no tables or eating area. Easiest just to drive thru and pick up your food. They also take call ahead orders. :)

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
