Hopefully people get to see this post. This location is now a taproom for Bosque Brewery out of Albuquerque. This is great news for Las Cruces and the brewery scene. Bosque has quite few beers on tap and while I was there the place was jam packed; I believe they will eventually need more space. Great location and I can imagine when school is in session that they will be busy all day

I enjoy the heck out of this place. My friends Dan and Jordan turned me on to it during my last trip to Las Cruces. Long days learning how to do experiments (great class, Geoff!), required beer to process all the new data. The beer choices are good; made in Albuquerque, I understand. Limited, but wasn't really a problem, since what they had made us all happy. Favorites: Scotia Scottish ale (stiff, but didn't taste like it - warning!), Driftwood Nitro oatmeal stout (just plain smooth and yummy), and the outstanding Scale Tipper IPA (winner of yadda yadda and worthy of whatever it won) (disclosure: Dan was a voter). Pick any or all and you'll be satisfied. It's attractive but a bit close inside - not really set for a big group. No prob - they'll set you up with growlers of your fave you can bring home to your own back patio. Saw a lot of those puppies leave the store while we were there. There's an outside seating area. It's comfortable, but a little small, too. No food, but Jimmy John's is next door and the excellent Zeffiro's Pizza is a 1-minute walk west. They'll deliver for free in 25 - 45 minutes. (Go there.) A 3-beer minimum, and they count. Good for them, but bad for us. We could have had a vastly increased number of additional beers more. Driving home would have been a problem, though, which is probably the idea. Shoot. Again: growlers. (Kudos to our waitress for being firm but kind on this. Geoff won't try it again, we promise.) Service was OK, not stellar unless you walked up to the bar. But not bad at all. Las Cruces is turning into a better and better place to be. Go there.

Beer is always good as always, but the location is relatively hard to find because of the lack of signage. The staff were on their cell phones quite often which is never a great thing. Overall, it's a cute place and the beer is good. Definitely worth going to if you're in town!

The beers are great but considering they serve no food and just a few beers, what the neck takes so long to get served?

This is a tiny tap room formerly owned and operated by the Mimbres Valley Brewing Company, based in Deming, but after that company went out of business this place was taken over by the Bosque Brewing Company of Albuquerque. If you went to this place under previous ownership, there is an entirely different beer menu now, and Bosque's beers are pretty darn good. It is still a tiny place, so when it's crowded there isn't much elbow room and conversation can be difficult. There is limited patio seating as well. The servers work very hard, and come out on to the floor to take orders when the floor is crowded at night. It stays open later than some places, but still closes pretty early on a week night, but that's Cruces. I'm very happy they are here.

Hands down best beer in town. The place is small but they offer TV, and outdoor seating. They have 5-6 beers always on tap, and other 5-6 on rotation as seasonal. No food available (as now, but they will in few months), however you can bring in your own food, and jimmy jones or zeffiros NY pizza is walking distance. Highly recommended

Tried it for the first time today. Good spot. Very good draft list. I had the IPA and it was a solid west coast style. They don't do food, but you can bring your own. Outside seating is dog friendly. A good addition to a growing craft beer market.

Tried the new brewery. Why you ask? Well, because I used to frequent Blue Corn Brewery in Santa Fe, NM and when I heard the head brew master John from Blue Corn is now brewing for Bosque I had to check it out. And the verdict is that it is really good. I definitely recommend coming in, getting a flight of beers and choosing a favorite.
