Good 'ol down home cookin'! Their breakfasts (all I've had) are superb. It's an older, but well maintained and pretty clean place. Friendly staff, very country and nice. Good prices, good food.

This place is awesome. It's like country cooking. Yummy food, hot and fresh, excellent service, and not too long of waiting times if it's packed on a busy Sunday morning.

Your typical diner food always good and hot. Service was good and friendly. I will eat B'Fast here tomorrow

Just a good old fashioned place to eat breakfast in Hobbs. Great service and food at an independent non-chain restaurant. I have only eaten breakfast at The Iron Skillet, but lunch would have to be OK. For Hobbs, this would be the "go to" place for breakfast.

Decent food, good prices. Biscuits and gravy were nothing special but the rest was tasty. Older building, but clean inside. Friendly staff.

Welcome to the place where old men chew the fat while they have their morning cup of joe. The iron skillet is the epitome of a good old fashion down home cooking. This place takes me back to grandmas growing up and has a strange nostalgic feeling that make you feel right at home. The food is always consistent and a far cry above anything offered from the typical hotel breakfast. They pancakes are nice and fluffy and they even offer sugar free syrup for those of you diabetics. The Iron Skillet is must try if your staying in town or as a local resident.

Huge portions!! Tanya makes the best chicken fried steak around!! Fresh brewed ice tea in a mason jar...just like down south!! Service is superior. ..old school decor...place reminiscent of old cracker barrel. CANT GO WRONG HERE!!
