Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

Went during church rush and it was clean and the waitstaff was hustling and very attentive. The salsa was good and the and chips where fresh. I ordered the steak tacos that are not on the menu based on another reviewer. I am glad I tried them; great flavor and the ranchero beans are amazing.

I was in Hobbs for work today and we stopped here for lunch. They took our drink order and brought out the chips and hot sauce. The chips were awesome. The hot sauce was not my favorite but descent. She took our order. I had the brisket Tacos. You can't mix meats. My co-worker tried to get two brisket and one pork and they did not let them do that. Once she took our order the waitress did not come back by until she brought our food. The food was good, I am not a big corn tortilla fan but i ate it, grease and everything. I will probably not visit this restaurant again if I am to roll back through hobbs. I give this three stars because I am a sucker for some good chips and they for sure had those!

Service awful, waitresses rude and food mediocre!! Would not recommend spending money here!

Walked in roughly at 520 on a Monday evening, greeted quickly and chips and salsa brought to the table followed by my water. Ordered the guisado. Chips and salsa are very good. The guisado was brought out in a reasonable amount of time and was very good. Very good meal under 10 dollars

Good Mexican food but service is SLOW. When we ate there a couple walked out because no one ever went to their table to get their order. My bf didn't leave a tip! And he tips everybody! Even at sonic! Would of gave 2 more stars for better service.

Great authentic Mexican food for a good price. There are a lot of great Mexican restaurants in Hobbs but for some reason I always prefer to go to El Mirador

Best authentic Mexican food I have had thus far in Hobbs! Exactly what I was looking for. I asked a few locals what place they prefer they all said El Miradors! I had the buffet which they serve until 2pm! It's Perfection! I will be back! #BonAppétit!

A friend and I were looking for a Mexican food joint near our hotel and decided to try this one based solely on the fact that it's parking lot was full compared to the other restaurants that were nearby. About 30 minutes into the affair I realized why - they are slow. Reeeeaaaalllllly slow. So slow that the line from the Eagles' Hotel California came to mind. "You can check out any time you like, but you can never leeeeaaaaaave!" First, it was 10-15 minutes to get our drinks. I ordered water. My friend ordered lemonade. Then another 10 before we could order. Then another 30 before the food came. I'm a firm believer that you can judge a Mexican restaurant by their beams and rice. Both were OK, as was the salsa. The chips and tortillas were stale, but the meat was good. I ordered the alambra tacos. Once I got past the staleness of the tortillas, I realized that the flavor was really good. I'm not sure about what my friend had, but he seemed to enjoy it. Overall it wasn't a bad experience, and the food was decent. Hopefully we just caught them on a bad day.
