The bacon cheeseburger was amazing! The bun was fresh, soft, & sweet. All the burgers are half pounders. It would be nice to have a smaller option. I like mine well done and this one was cooked to perfection, still juicy! The sweet fries were nothing to write home about but were a good compliment to the sweet bun. Because they were so properly prepared and fresh, the burgers are worth the price. However, move on down the menu and the pricy steaks will make you lose your lunch before you get it!! For a bar & grill, the prices seem pretty steep. I did not try the steaks, but hopefully they follow suit & are worth the expense. The service was quick, the fastest I've experienced since visiting Hobbs. That's a plus! If you're a sports nut, the ambiance is fantastic!

Overpriced, with bad service and anywhere from marginal to horrific food. My father in law ordered a taco salad from them. The meat was not roast beef, it looked like canned dog food. Otherwise, their other food is usually either cold or flavorless. I honestly have no idea how this place stays in business.

The food was good but over priced for what it was. Also when my boyfriend asked what IPAs they had on tap the waitress asked If it was a mixed drink which was kind of funny but they should know what an IPA is of they work at a sports bar... Also order was so slow. Food was slow and my boyfriends beer took way too long. We were done with our food by the time it came out. Ehhh we won't go back there..

An average place with a ridiculously large menu (which always makes me nervous) and as others have mentioned, a little overpriced. $5 for a bottle of Mexican beer is a little steep, particularly during a football game at a sports bar. $16 for a chicken fried steak and 1 side? Again... A little North of reality for a self-proclaimed sports bar. That being said, the food was average, but the service was very attentive, almost to the point of overdoing it. Perhaps our waitress was just bored. The proximity to my hotel ultimately influenced my decision to try this place, but other than the $80 tab for 4 beers, 2 shots and 2 meals, nothing else was remarkable.

Service wasn't the best Atmosphere was livelier at a cemetery Food was hearty, but flavorless Beer was really, really cold! And in closing the overall experience wasn't what I thought it would be since this is like the only sports bar and grill in Hobbs. Sad to say that Applebee's was better and I really don't go there to drink. Hope this helps!

1. The main entrance isn't near the front, like one would imagine. Don't park in the front because you will walk all around the building wondering how to get in. The entrance is at the very back of the business, the other doors are locked. 2. Incredibly rude servers. We arrived at 10:35 and were told that last call was in 15 minutes. I asked if that was for food or alcohol. She said coldly said "both." After eating and trying to finish our drinks, the server came over and informed us that we needed to leave as they had closed 45 minutes prior. 3. Terrible hours. It is a Saturday night in the summer and you claim to be a sports bar but you close at 11? That is just wrong. 4. The food was marginal. The honey BBQ wings were covered in something more like cayenne pepper sauce than honey BBQ. The ribs were dry. The nachos were terrible. The chicken fried steak was impossible to cut, let alone chew. 5. Did I mention that rude service? Bottom line, eat elsewhere. Anywhere else. Even at a convenience store. I tried very hard to think of a redeeming quality for this place. Here it is. The restroom appeared to be clean.

My boyfriend wanted to go back because everybody in his work is raving about it. Well, my previous review was for take-out. Now, this is for dine-in. Here's the score. If you are not originally from Hobbs and have traveled a lot and have eaten in a lot of great food places, yes, this is just an ordinary restaurant. But considering Hobbs, NM where there's not many good food places than your average Chili's and Applebee's, then yes, maybe you'd think this is a great resto. Hence, the rave reviews from people who are from Hobbs, and not so stellar reviews from people who are originally from other places. Get the featured burger there, which has bacon, cheese and mushrooms, and the chicken wings. They're good, but not great. That's all.

Servers have always been friendly.I think food is way over priced.I have eaten there 4 times and the flies are extremely annoying , next time if ever Im bringing a fly swatter

Food was great I had the Bambino Burger!!!! Bacon inside the burger on a soft pretzel roll.. Just great. And the Bartender Brittni is amazing!!! She's fast, and very friendly!

I like the food...it's generally pretty good. 4 stars Atmosphere is nice, it's new, well kept, clean. 4 stars Service...OK, but inconsistent. 3 stars. Price...a little high, not outrageous, but a bit expensive. 3 stars. Hours...seriously, it's a SPORTS BAR and they close at 11 pm on Friday and Saturday. REALLY? 1 star.

Excellent food. Best service in Hobbs. Went with a group from work. We had a lot of choices and everyone ordered something different so we could taste it all. Cobb salad was fresh. Enchiladas were great, huge juicy hamburgers, chicken parm was tasty. Glad it's close to work. We will be back!

They never get the order right the first time. No follow up or vision by the waitstaff. Over priced, okay food and poor service. Will not return.

Ummm. This is difficult only because this establishment is set near several hotels. I have eaten here a few times just to double check myself. I have come to the conclusion that Babes is way over priced for the product they deliver. On this day I ordered the "meat filled lasagna" that is what the menu says. Good thing it is not a crime to tell stories on your menu. Each time I have been here I have feeling that something was missing. I now know what it is, a lot of my money for not a whole lotta product or quality. It would not surprise me to see Babes go away starting Monday the 28th of October. The very day that Buffalo Wild Wings unlocks its doors. Don't waste your time going here go somewhere else and get what you pay for. Maybe the ownership group needs to leave the bar and go in the kitchen to see what really is going on. My humble opinion.
