I'm writing this review especially to compliment our amazing waiter Jacob. Went there with my friend after a 12 hour drive, i got there before my friend and had to wait about 45 minutes for her to get there. I explained the situation to jacob and he was very understanding and never rushed me to put in an order, he just kept checking up on me to refill my coffee and water, all while smiling. My friend finally got there and were ready to order, we asked for a million adjustments and special requests and he got it all right. He even checked to make sure my eggs and steak were cooked exactly how i wanted them, and offered to redo anything that wasn't done how i like it. He is super wonderful, friendly and attentive. All our food was wonderful but what made it even better was the great service we got, ask for jacob when you go there

Typical Denny's except really great service! Food was good, everything was proper, but no AC on. Midnight dinner and it's super nice weather outside... We wish they had outdoor seating bc inside it was so humid and hot we couldn't breathe. That's about it...

Surprising little Denny's dinner. Cute, quaint and embodies the Route 66 vibe. This Denny's was very clean. Friendly staff, even though they seemed to run slow but I got that gist from everyone that it was just a slow pace there. Waitress was friendly, got our order right and checked with us frequently. Enjoyed the canvas prints of route 66 through out and loved that it was across the street from our hotel.

Haven't been here since they remolded the place. It looks very nice & clean. BUT. .the service is horrible!! We were seated & no one came to ask us for our order(drinks/food). We watched as 3-servers licked the boots of this rich looking couple & as the couple walked away they handed tips to each server. I guess you have to look rich to get service! Finally after 15mins of waiting my sister walks up to a waitress & asks if she can helps us. She was nice but she took a very loooong time on placing our food order & delivering it to our table. Our food was hard from being under the warmers for so long & my skillet was barley warm. Why order a sizzling skillet if it's barley warm?? I shouldn't be surprised. .its just like Gallup to be a disappointment.

It was late when I arrived in Gallup to spend the night. This Denny's was next door to the hotel, and I decided to try it since I had not been to a Denny's for some time. This particular Denny's surprised me as the food was good, service was friendly, and the restaurant was clean. Next time through, this will be a definite stop for me.

You can't beat Denny's for breakfast any hour of the day. My brother and I stopped in for some whole wheat blueberries pancakes and their chicken sausage patties. The red potatoes were fresh but the eggs were not softly scrambled. Coffee fresh as always. Our waiter was nice and attentive. Didn't get his name but I wanted to make sure he received a very nice tip before he ended his shift which was as soon as we received our breakfast.

Terrible take-out service. Could not even get my order in because they kept answering and telling me to hold for up to 10 minutes at a time, and they never got back to me! I know these sort of chain restaurants get busy, and especially along major highway routes, but it takes 30 seconds to place an order. They just lost a customer for life, for the entire chain! Good riddance!!

Stopped in for dinner. Figured I couldn't go wrong. Dinner seems to be hit and miss here. Ordered bourbon chicken skillet and a salad. Main dish could have been decent if not for the abundance of oil used to prepare it. Not sure why the do that. That being said the salad and coffee were fine and every one was pleasant and helpful.

So I have traveled all over the country for years and have never come across a Denny's as BAD as this. I think the workers are on drugs. Nobody seemed to care that we had shown up. After finally getting seated we where ignored for almost 15 minutes before getting our drinks ordered. Then another 15 minutes for them to take our food order. No kidding, 45 minutes later they brought us our food. Wrong order, Cold and Burned. When I said that the food was unacceptable they didn't offer to re cook or fix it they just looked at me like I was crazy, removed my plate and didn't even offer to replace it. THEN - get this, they tried to charge me FULL price for this garbage that I didn't even eat! Do you idiots really think that it is ok to make your customers wait over an hour to get the wrong thing, and then charge them for it when YOU screw it up? Needless to say I left this sorry excuse for a dining establishment still hungry, disappointed, and absolutely astounded at how these jokers can keep their jobs. The only thing I can figure is that the manager/owner are as stupid and as lazy as their employees. Even if this is the only place open in town (or on Earth) you are better off just waiting till the morning to get something to eat. I would even say you would be better of starving than going to this place. Your motto should be "Never Again." boo on you. :(
