This place is ok on the BBQ end the only time I ever eat her is to enjoy the catfish probably one of the best I've ever had. I really love BBQ but whenever I tried theirs I just don't love the taste, to me the meat is dry not juicy, and the sauce is runny not tasty. My personal opinion is that Serious Texas BBQ is has more flavor than this place. I've only given this place a three stars because of the catfish if it wasn't for the catfish it woulda been two stars or less!

I came here from out of town and was highly recommend by a local colleague. I'm not sure if the brisket was slow-smoked or just pot roast. Sausage was good and the sides were okay. I'd try the ribs next time.

Tried to go there- but they were closed - Bc it was Sunday - looked like a great place - just plan accordingly !

My cutie stopped in here a year ago and said it was the best BBQ he had ever had, he was super underwhelmed this time. Maybe we just caught the Spare Rib on a bad day. As it was my first visit, I don't get the fuss. We ordered the Brisket and some ribs. I thought the meat was pretty bland, I like a little more fat on Brisket, the caramelized and the smoke flavor, for lack of a better way to explain my preference. The Brisket just seemed like dry flavorless meat. The sauce was just not anything to write home about. The ribs were blah also, they weren't tough, just had no real flavor, and I pretty much will eat ribs six ways to Sunday... I also have to add, I hate it when you can't get a real slice of lemon for your tea, I don't want sweet tea, just tea with some lemon. We stopped here on our way through Farmington. But, next time we will pass on by.

This is got to be the only BBQ place that's been around for sometime. It's an average BBQ place with beef, sausage, chicken, and catfish. The catfish is good and beef is ok. I haven't tried the chicken but I, being a seasoned smoker, find this place to be like it's missing that smokey taste. I get the feeling like they just stick the food in an oven and let it cook until tender, there's no smoke ring nor is there a smokey taste. If you're ok with mediocre BBQ, by all means, have at it. If you want better BBQ, go to Serious Texas BBQ.

Ok. I think I gave the third star due to the owner and the staff. The best item is the catfish and the BBQ is average. However, mega points to the very friendly owner and the fact the third generation is working there. I definitely would return...

Although I enjoyed the ribs, there were a bit dry in certain areas. However, the stuff was such a pleasure and warm. It was clear that they truly enjoy and appreciate their customers.

Went here after the Shiprock Marathon. We both ordered the two meat combo (just right amounts), hubby got ribs and brisket I got ribs and chicken. The ribs were amazing....so tender and literally fell off the bone before they reached your mouth. Chicken was the total opposite of the ribs....its the kind of chicken your inlaws forget in the oven for a few hours...couldn't be any drier...ick. I was starving after running the marathon and even I didn't eat them. Hubby's brisket was tender but hard to rate flavor due to the pool of sauce. Everything was covered in sauce...some dishes desperately needed it (I.e. the chicken) but the ribs and brisket would have been divine without it. Full bellies in the end, happy we found it, you should check it out! $30 for two.

Let me start by saying, I hate BBQ... except if it's Spare Rib. I very nearly refuse to eat anything with BBQ sauce on or near it, but I LOVE theirs. The portions are right, the prices are right, and the service is great! The sausage is mouth watering.

The catfish is awesome! The baby backs, and the hot links are my favorites! BBQ at its best! And don't forget to try some of their cobbler!

i give this place a 4 star only because it average bbq but i believe it's the best in farmington. i know that is not saying much. i dropped in on this place 4/6/12 around 6:15pm. the parking lot was full!!!!!!! we we kinda worried about being able to get in and out within a reasonable amount of time. i guess if you are in a rush don't dine in on friday night but do take out. there are a number of country style tables inside and they have alot of tables outside in back of the restaurant too. watch your step inside the floor inside is a split level and i almost made a scene and readjusted my back. lol. i ordered a 3 meat combo platter. i got 3 pork ribs, 2 bbq chicken, and 1 sausage with 2 sides and a roll. the meat was really smoked. the sauce, tenderness was above average. my cole slaw and potato salad were really good. the dinner roll was just a regular dinner roll. when you order there is no indication of free refills for the fountain drinks. but sitting above the fountain drink machine there is a cup with a tiny signs that reads "refills $.25". service was great. we had someone come by every 10 minutes to check up on us.

This place was eager to please and was great! We ordered take out for dinner and the lady up front was very helpful and allowed us to alter the usual family dinner set so we could get the meat we wanted (our family doesn't really like chopped beef so they let us substitute another rack of ribs for the beef and sausage). Service was fast and everyone was really nice! As for taste the ribs were yummy and the sauce was even better! I like to drown things in sauce and when we asked for extra sauce they gave us a whole big container which was perfect. Beans were PINTO not BBQ which was surprising but I still liked it. Coleslaw was awesome!! We were able to get an extra side instead of the dinner rolls so that was legit =D Only thing I didn't really like was the chicken because it was pretty dry but other than that everything was great.

Excellent food. Fun ambiance. Great service from friendly staff. I had the two meat combo, brisket & ribs. Perfectly cooked & spiced. Simply outstanding. Prices were very fair. Definitely a keeper!

We have always enjoyed the selection here. The catfish is a good choice of you are wanting something different. I love the greetings we receive when we enter the es and of course if your looking to eat outdoors they can accommodate you with their seating outside.

Good fried okra. Brisket overcooked. Ribs cut incorrectly. Canned sides. Super expensive. Serious Texas BBQ smokes this place.
