This hotel has an arena in the middle with a gazebo, fake trees, a swimming pool, weight room for exhibitionists, a seating area for the bar/restaurant and a video game zone. The humidity created from the pool/chlorine mixture is alarming... The rooms are huge...and creepy. The decor is 80s, the beds are soft and bouncy and it feels haunted. I liked it. But only artistically. There's a fridge, microwave and an old TV. This place is nostalgic. The hallways are really creepy. The huge horseshoe shaped place has a stale cig smell that has been lingering since the late 70s. I'm having a hard time saying anything bad about it because it is appealing in a way that I can't really describe. Maybe it's the 80s picture of a Farrah Fawcett looking lady on skis that graces the coke machines. Maybe it's the video game room. You know you're in Farmington when all the video games have orange guns attached to them. The bar is ok, the cocktail waitress was sweet. The clientele were all older hunter looking camo dudes, I mean gentlemen - and a lot of them. It was a strange thing. The food was so amazingly bad that it seemed like it had been shipped from a minor-league baseball game 80 miles away, reheated in a microwave, and then left to sit another ten minutes for good measure.
