Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

I'm from PA too and I have to say this pizza sucks. The crust is good but they kinda forgot about sauce. And mine was burnt. I thought the price was fair. I paid $20 for spaghetti and pizza and garlic bread. The spaghetti was linguine and baked with cheese and pizza sauce that was missing from my pizza. I will not order it again.

Pizza 9 never disappoints. My favorite pizza is the fire eater, and boy is it spicy! They have dine-in, delivery and carry out options. I've used all, though I prefer carry out as they're delivery can be a bit slow. Their crusts are soft with just the right amount of crispness. Their meats are hearty and of good quality. As far as the service goes, I've experienced excellent service, always greeted with a smile. Just a tip, when ordering wings, ask them to pass them through the oven twice. The crispness is divine!

I am gluten-free so I placed an online order for a specialty gluten-free pizza (NOT cheap) for delivery. I had coupons to use, but you can't enter these online. When the delivery guy arrived, I mentioned my coupons and he said they don't allow coupons for online ordering. I have never had a company refuse to accept their own coupons. That being said, I can't rate this location any higher than 2 stars for their lack of customer service or their ability to allow for the use of their own coupons when ordering online. The gluten-free pizza was pretty small for about $25 so I will now go to Scarpas or Paisanos.

We have dined and chosen Pizza 9 over other pizza restaurants for years. We have always enjoyed it. Until Saturday night. Looking forward to our take home meal after a long work day we called ahead. We were told our usual meal would be ready in 15 minutes. When we arrived it was not ready order was apparently lost. We'll have it out in 5 minutes. 20 minutes later only when we went back to the register were we given our pizza. It was under another box, not hot, not cut properly, burnt around the edges. ONE OF THE WORST PIZZAS EVER!!!! I picked one star because a -1or more is not available.

Ordered for delivery at my hotel room. Excellent Pizza. It was the best thick crusted pizza I've had in years. Moist and meaty! If I come back to Albuquerque again, I will order it again...no second thoughts. By the way, the delivery guy showed up 5 minutes earlier than promised and was very polite....Nice to see professional service! Five Star!

My daughter got straight As and she chose Pizza 9 to celebrate! We arrived at around 7pm on a Saturday night and decided on a large pepperoni pizza. It arrived to our table in less than 15 minutes and was perfectly prepared -- we all really enjoyed the crispy and buttery crust. The atmosphere inside was just OK ... nothing special or noteworthy about the dining area. I think this place does most of its business via take out or delivery. I was impressed with the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. The store manager is obviously interested in making sure his customers are having a good experience at his store. I wish other business in ABQ shared his passion for customer service. In all, a great deal too. Dinner for a 4 for less than $14.

This is a decent pizza chain with average prices and average pizza. If you are expecting a Chicago style pizza then go elsewhere as they serve a deep dish or a thin crust pizza. It is a no thrills pizza place, but I would rather pay their no thrills price than have a fancy place that charges more. For a family dinner it is a great place that doesn't break the bank.

We ordered delivery and got their Hawaiian pizza, the Fire Eater, and the Quattro Stagioni, all deep dish. I love that you can place your order online. That was really convenient. Our delivery driver was polite and honest. We gave him a cash tip but also wrote it down on our receipt, which would have paid him twice. He noticed it and pointed it out to us. Had I not been so tired I would have given him an extra few dollars for his honesty. I hope that his good deed gets rewarded somehow. The food was good and feed our large crew and everything seemed really fresh. It's definitely a place I'd order from again.

This location is horrible. I waited 5 minutes before I was greeted. There was no line & only two parties dining inside the building. 3, maybe 4 people walked by and saw me without acknowledging me. Then, after I ordered, I asked the cashier how long it would take & he told me 10-12 minutes. After waiting this amount of time, I walked back up to the register where someone asked, "have you been helped?" I told him that I was just waiting on my pizza. Not to my surprise, they hadn't even started making it. Needless to say, I got a refund & WILL NEVER RETURN.

I live in the NE Heights and in fact I live about a mile from this location. I've driven by many times and oft' wonder how their food was. On Tuesday, November 19, 2013, I made a stop for a carry out. I walked and was quickly acknowledged by an employee, not sure if he was a manager. He was very friendly and pointed to the daily specials on the menu. I ordered Chicago Beef & Italian Sausage Combo. The combo came with potatoes on the side. The sandwich was flavorful but rather very salty. It was ok. They have quite a few items on the menu that I would like to try such as their pizza. I'm a big fan of pizza. I think the prices are reasonable.

We recently moved from PA to NM and my biggest complaint was that I couldn't find a good pizza place that compared to pizza in PA. This is the best pizza I have found in Albuquerque so far! I get the Veggie Delight and substitute green chili for the mushrooms. The pizza is delicious! I didn't give it 5 stars because I think the pizza is a little overpriced. They also charge to substitute a different veggie on the pizza, which I think is a little outrageous since it was a substitution, not an addition. We will continue to eat their pizza because it is very good, it just won't be an every day thing because of the price.
