The service was so-so. Out waitress was kind of dingy. We were disappointed in the quality of pizza. I think the uptown area location has better quality pizza.

I love Mario's... But not this one. It's close to work so I thought awesome Italian around the corner. Not so much. Once I got fettuccine Alfredo to go, and there was not very much Alfredo sauce so I had quite a bit of dry noodles left to the side. The chicken parmigiana sub is my favorite (from other locations) but at this location, they do not slice the chicken so it's awkward to eat as a sandwich with a chicken patty sticking out the side of the bread. Maybe I'll visit in a few months but I think I'll stick to the Louisiana and Paseo locations for now.

Second time I've been Here for a class my Employer puts on every month. The first time I ordered a pizza. Totally sucked on all levels. Tonight I thought I'd order something simple. A chopped salad. After 50 minutes and half way through the lecture still no salad had arrived. I left the class and went up front and got my money refunded. I will never attend this monthly class offered by my employer without bringing my own food or eating prior. I know for a fact that neither me or any member if my family will ever walk into a "Mario's Pizza" again to buy food. Very poor quality and service on all levels. And yet another establishment I am pissed off over having wasted my time.

Well...let me start off by saying that the warm turkey sandwich with green chile is TO DIE FOR! The bread is delicious, and the sandwich itself is the perfect balance of warm gooey cheese, hearty sliced turkey, and bright, spicy green chile! The bread is just awesome...warm soft and (tastes) fresh. My husband's Fettucine Alfredo however? Not so much...we could make better at home. Also, service was pretty terrible.

3.65 stars. I had a nice dinner here with a coworker. The manager was a hoot. I ordered the canneloni and had soup to start. The soup was a very nice and hearty lentil and Italian sausage with just a touch of spiciness. The canneloni came with a healthy side of spaghetti & marinara. The marinara was a very basic (does that go without saying?) sauce even for a marinara but tasty nonetheless. The canneloni was very tasty as well, the pasta not overdone but with just a bit of firmness. I finished off with a cannoli but not before grilling the manager on it's ingredients and preparation..."What kind of cheese do you use? When do you fill it? Where do you get your shells?" I got the correct answers. I ordered. I enjoyed. The atmosphere is nice and warm with lots of paint treatments and marble. And the hoot? I noticed an accent the first time the manager came by. But only around the edges. But there. Couldn't place it. Brooklyn? Southie? So I asked. Turns out she is from Albuquerque but has traveled around a bit and likes to try on accents and have fun. Too cute.

Mario's has been around as long as I can remember and they have been serving up good pizza! They have recently expanded their menu to include gluten-free options which is always a plus in my book! The prices are reasonable and the dishes are satisfying. The salads are ok, and not my favorite item on the menu and could be improved with better and fresher veggies.

Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
