New Mexican fast food. Great for take out...beats the hell out of Taco Bell for about the same price. Menu selection is good and usually will get a good meal. Eat here whenever I'm in Albuquerque.

Food is always good and the staff is very friendly! It's so close to the house you can eat in or take it to go.

Sopapillas are good. Beans are bland and oily. Rice is bland no flavor except a weird aftertaste. Probably not coming back.

The food here is very good. Reasonably priced New Mexican food and portion size is good too. However, here is my issue with this location. My family and I eat here several times a month since it is so close to home. Every time we come here, the wait staff usually wears overly tight fitting clothes or clothes that show too much cleavage. This is not what I want to see when I come for a family sit down meal. Tonight the manager was serving food wearing pajamas with a spaghetti strap top and flip flops. Really??!! Good food but keep your eyes on your plate or you may lose your appetite.

Breakfast is pretty decent at this place given there's not many options there red chile taste a little weird to me so I suggest green for dinner there Mexican combo is my fav also this little Anitas isn't as good as the one in the south valley but overall an ok place to eat.

This was probably the most disappointing food experience I've had in Albuquerque thus far. I'm honestly not sure if any of the food was homemade. The salsa was definitely canned and not good quality, that's for sure. The rice with my meal was undercooked, but I will say I enjoyed the chicken inside the enchilada. With so many wonderful places to eat in this town, I'm sure that I won't be coming back.

Good food. Portions are also good. Service is great. Seating was not bad at all. Only two choices for kids. Portions for kids was more then enough. I thought the menu price for children is a little high.

We went and ate there a few nights ago. The hostess threw the menus on the table and just walked off. Didn't walk us to the table or motion that it was ours. We sat there for 20 minutes waiting for someone to help us and the waitress that did help us was unfriendly, and rude. There was 6 of us and we got refills as we were leaving. So for the majority of the meal we were all out of our beverages. When the waitress came over to take out order, my daughter asked for a refill, which she didn't do. Very disappointing to be treated so poorly. I felt like we were treated as a nuisance, rather than customers.

Best breakfast take out place in this residential area. The huevos rancheros are consistently good for the price.

Consistency is key! This is our go-to spot for New Mexican food. Its conveniently located, never mess up our orders, really quick, decently priced, AND the food is delightful as well. Glad we have a reliable spot to go to in Ventana Ranch!

Food and service is good. The beans are gross and grey looking. I really like the steak burrito.

We had dinner there last night, and it was really good. The dining room was empty, so we were a priority. our food came out really fast, and everything was made exactly how we ordered it. I think Little Anita's in Ventana Ranch is a great option for a fast, local meal.

Good new mexican food at decent prices. Service could be better.

The service is horrible at this particular location. Food is ehh whatever. Every single time we go, there is a problem with the order, waitress/waiter not paying attention, and over all terrible customer service. i would not recommend this place and I do not think I will be returning, I rather drive down to Old Town or Rio Rancho if i am in the mood for little Anitas again

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
