My wife had seen this little place in the strip mall and was after me for weeks to give it a try. We were not disappointed once we did. This place is a breakfast and lunch only and we were pushing getting to them after one p.m. on a Saturday. I couldn't believe we had a short wait to get a seat. The decor is pleasant and hides somewhat how small this place actually is. Once seated we received quick attention from our waitress. Sandwiches were ordered and arrived in a short time. I had the Tuscan Meatloaf with potato salad, my wife had a Turkey on grilled sourdough and the fruit side. We were both very happy with the flavors of the sandwich we had chosen. I enjoyed the potato salad. While plain it had a subtle flavor that went well with the sandwich. My wife's fruit medley of fresh cantaloupe, pineapple and orange was at the peak of freshness, not like the flavorless fruit you often find in chain restaurants. Either we got lucky or the chef buys his own produce. We will certainly be back for another meal. The price was a little above what we normally pay for sandwiches, but not that bad. We didn't have leftovers to bring home, and we weren't over full when we walked out. A very pleasant balance. The only downside to the experience is how tight the space is inside. I couldn't imagine trying to get a large group in, although they do have at least one table for eight as I recall. If you don't need seating beyond the norm, give them a try for lunch for something out of the ordinary, in a very good way.

Service was good but food was pretty lackluster. I had the eggs Benedict and was so disappointed. Other reviews have said the eggs Benny was good but mine was just terrible. The English muffin was tough and rubbery, the egg was poached badly and when I cut into it the whites ran all over the plate. A classic poached egg should not have runny whites. The hollandaise sauce was a thick gloppy disaster. I don't know if the cook was having an off day but I would be embarrassed to serve this mess in my kitchen. May try them again for lunch but never again for breakfast.

Hannah & Nates is a great place to eat! The food was delicious!! Great quality and presentation! Very friendly service. Atmosphere is more of country home/cafe style. Very relaxing inside. Eggs Benedict with carne adovada was awesome!! Definitely a must try if you haven't been there before!

Came here with my boyfriend for a brunch-time meal on a regular ole Friday. I'll break up my review into 3 main parts: 1) the food, 2) the atmosphere, 3) the service. 1) The Food: I had the Carne con Huevos (carne adovada, eggs, hashbrowns, and a tortilla), and the meat crumbled in my mouth just the way I like it. Often at restaurants, the carne adovada is fatty/tough and therefore chewy - but the carne here was none of those things. The red chile had just enough heat to give me a minor case of the sniffles (that's when you know it's good!). I had to ask for extra chile. I also added cheese to my carne and it was delish! I liked that the dish wasn't loaded with salt. I like to add salt to my own taste (too often restaurants over-salt things). I also had coffee, which was delightful, nothing more. I recommend the carne. It is A LOT of food though, perfect for sharing. My boyfriend had the Heavenly Hash, and it was simply eggs, hash browns and bacon with red chile. He loved the chile, but claims there was nothing "heavenly" about the dish as the name professed. He was expecting "heavenly" but got "ordinary". He would like to return to try other things. 2) The Atmosphere: The place is small, but ADORABLE! They seated us at a tiny little round table which I thought would be too small, but turned out to be just fine. If I had to describe the decor, I'd call it tastefully homey but cute. Decorated with somewhat quaint floral and fruit arrangements. Not loud, perfect for drinking coffee and reading the paper. 3) The Service: Staffed with polite and chipper young ladies, the service was prompt and pleasant. They seated us immediately, got our order correct (including my add-ons), and delivered and processed our check in a timely manner. Conclusion: I would return. If I get the Carne again, I'll split it with someone (BTW, I read on the menu that they charge an extra $1.99 for splitting a meal...hmmmm??). All in all, a pleasant experience and good food.

The breakfast enchiladas with red chile are amazing. I had a scrambled egg on top with the crispy hash browns on the side. I enjoy the coffee (I'm picky about my coffee) and the friendly waitstaff tops it off frequently. I've been to both locations and would recommend either one. This is now my go to place for breakfast or brunch. The quality, atmosphere and price will bring me back again and again.

Delightful place for breakfast or lunch. It's cute and the service is excellent. I had the grilled vegetable salad and the fish tacos. Both were delicious. If you are looking for an alternative to fast food, this is it. Quality food and fast, friendly service. This place is well worth the stop.

This is a review for Hannah and Nate's in Corrales: Very good food. This is a no-frills kind of place...They do basic breakfast and lunch items, but they do it well. I ordered the eggs benedict, which was very delicious. It came with a side of hash browns, which were not greasy (like how hash browns at other places can be) and which went well with the hollandaise sauce. I look forward to coming here again. I came on a Sunday morning, and the restaurant was packed, so I had to wait a little before being seated. Nevertheless, the service was still good, and the food made it worth the wait. I also like the fact that they have a "light side" menu--items that are smaller (and thus cheaper) than their average entrees. Sometimes I go to restaurants with a small appetite, so it's nice to be able to order a lighter plate and walk out of the restaurant without a bellyache. My "light" eggs benedict came with one egg, hash browns, and fruit and cost about $6. If I were running this restaurant, though, I would put cushions on the seats. The tables and chairs are like metal, wire patio furniture...not the most comfortable. However, this is only a minor issue. (It's not like you have to sit here for hours.) I definitely recommend this place to others!

Hannah and Nates did not disappoint! We found it on accident and I am so glad we did because it changed my life! The sloppy Jose was mind blowing. It is enough to share but you won't want to. Come visit. Our waitress was super friendly and talkative and the restaurant was a buzz with quiet conversation. Loved it!

Abq, Local, N.M. Shop and Staff As soon as you walk in you are taken by the over all home feeling of an outdoor setting. The lights, the painting on the walls as well as the decor is very mood setting. The young waitress named Charity was professional, and very nice. She made sure my girlfriend always had a full cup of coffee in between waiting on her other tables, and answering the phone. Food and Experience The restaurant was busy this morning which is great to see for a Tuesday. The wait for the food was well worth it. I got the steak, and egg burrito while my girlfriend got the cream cheese, and avocado omelette. Both food items were very good looking, and we dug in immediately. My girlfriend wished the fresh fruit that came with the omelette was a fruit cup instead of sliced. I noticed the onion inside my omelette was overcooked. Besides that being the only thing wrong we still enjoyed our time, food, and experience. We will go back soon to enjoy another great breakfast.

It really frustrates the hell out of me when I go out for eggs and the chef can't tell the difference between hard cooked and over-medium eggs. I sent them back and they did finally come out over-medium, but this is the second time I've gotten hard cooked for over-medium. Be advised. When you order your eggs, tell them you are picky about eggs and will send them back until they get it right.

Hannah and Nate's serves solid mexican-style breakfasts. I ordered the classic Huevos Rancheros which had plenty of flavor and were accompanied by particularly nice, thick flour tortillas. The texture of nearly everything was perfect, and the service and ambiance was great. The only complaint I had was with the hashbrown. I ordered them crispy, but the arrived only marginally cooked. Our server remembered that she had specifically written down "crispy", so seemed to understand right away what the problem was. I asked that they be sent back, but instead of preparing a new order of the hashbrowns, the kitchen just pretty-much smashed them flat and cooked them longer. Not at all attractive, but I didn't want to be a pain, so I ate them anyway, even though they were a long way from being crispy. I would probably give this place a 4 stars if it wasn't for the hashbrown debacle. Maybe this was a one-time mess up, but they had two chances to make things right. So 3 stars for the food and 4 stars for the other elements of the experience.

Aside: I love the name "Hannah". It's reversible. Amongst the few breakfast and lunch options on the West Side, and I mean the entire West Side, Hannah and Nate's is one of the very best options. Serial, as we New Mexican's would say. This little haven tucked amongst Seattlebucks and a breadth of franchise shops is definitely your go-to for a great morning plate and the noonish options are pretty fine, too. I've visited a couple of times and the food was very good; classic huevos rancheros, delicious eggs Benedict, beef & blue sandwich, a lot of this can be made to order on the light side (half plates) and they do the trick. Seats are few, here, and waiting for a table speaks to the quality of service they provide and the demand from the neighborhood. This place is so local, so familial, it's a joyful find in these parts. I often wonder why Yelpers bitch about a small aspect of their overall experience in a cafe like this. The place can get busy, people. If you need to leave and you can't get the attention of your server (we couldn't), just walk up to the front desk. Our check landed on the table pronto. It's good for kids, too. Crayons and an activity sheet, our lil' one was sufficed. When you're lost in West Side suburbia, hit Hannah & Nate's.

I eat here about 4-5 times a month and each time it is amazing. I absolutely love the cucumber dill dressing. It is so refreshing and makes such a great dipping sauce and salad dressing. The southwest melt appetizer is nice and spicy with hints of refreshing avocado and melted cheese. I personally get cucumber dill instead of the salsa that it comes with and dip each baguette in the sauce. It is something I have never tasted before and I can never get enough. (Drooling while writing this lol) everything from this place that I have tasted I have loved. I have never been disappointed. And the prices, come on can't get any better for the portions.

I went here on my lunch break because it's so convenient to where I work and my coworker couldn't stop raving about how amazing this place is. I'd have to agree with her. The service was prompt and the servers were genuinely friendly as well as helpful. I got the grilled veggie sandwich and it was AMAZING! As far as vegetarian sandwiches go, it was the best I've ever had and packed with yummy veggies. The potato salad was delicious too, and the servings were pretty large for the extremely reasonable prices. Definitely foregoing other brunch restaurants (read: Wecks) in favor of this charming place in the future. What an awesome hidden gem!

Cute place, nice atmosphere, pleasant staff. Lots of food for a very reasonable price. Our table was tiny and wobbly, though I fixed that with packets of sweetener. This sounds like the makings for a 4+ rating, right? Unfortunately, the food was just so A-OK that it outweighs the most positive stuff. I had a turkey sandwich with swiss and green chile and a side salad. The turkey was pre-sliced deli turkey. It was highly processed and very salty. My salad was pretty fresh (only a couple of icky pieces--I'm very picky about this) and it was plentiful. The balsamic vinaigrette looked house-made, but it was a bit sweet. My daughter had a beef burrito with green chile. It was very non-descript. The chile looked good, but was lacking flavor. The beans were boring, the ground beef was a little undercooked and flavorless. I wanted to like this place more than I did. I may try it again. We'll see.

Wow, what a find! The food was delicious, you could tell it was prepared with an emphasis on quality, the wait staff was friendly and fast, they checked on us throughout the meal. The parking lot is small and there was a 20 minute wait for a table but it was well worth it!

Just got a breakfast burrito from here! Omg, Sooo delish!!! Everything is fresh and tastes amazing!! I'm gonna come back for sures :)
So I ordered the heavenly hash while my associates ordered the nuevo mehico eggs benedict and the sloppy jose. Maaan was it good! Everything was delicious. The food was made so perfectly and the red and green chili was hot as heck. I'm not going to write a whole lot, just please stop by here if you're in ABQ. I give it 5 super stars, which is better than regular stars. Oh, just to be a creepoid, the girls working here were super pretty.

Nice ambience & attentive staff enhanced the dining experience. I had the Breakfast Enchiladas which were very tasty & the Green Chile was very good with a pleasant bite! The Hash Browns were good, not great, but I did not request that they be crispy, other than that I can't find any fault with the meal. The portions were generous & the enchiladas warm, spicy & cheesy! I'll be back!

Below is the review I wrote for the Corrales location. I've never been to the new location as I moved to Texas before it was open, but with the same amazing menu... I can't imagine it would be much different. ******** Why have I not reviewed this place until now? I've been going here for years and Hannah and Nate's is by far one of my favorite places to eat in the entire state. If I could rake them higher than a 5 I would, their salsa alone would be a 50 on a scale of 1 to 10! Favorite. Salsa. Ever. The consistency in their amazing menu is fantastic and I am never disappointed. It is a small establishment kind of tucked away in Corrales, but it is worth it I promise you. Also, because of the size and the location, going during peak hours (like sunday for brunch or holidays) it will definitely be awaits. Again, worth it. My favorite time to go is midday on a cool spring day and sit on their patio. The large cottonwood trees and flowers are in full bloom and the town is quite lively. You will also likely see people on horseback just walking down the street. It is a wonderful establishment that I recommend to everybody! (Although I kind of don't want to because I want to be selfish and keep it a secret and for myself, but I feel that everyone should experience the amazingness Hannah and Nate's has to offer!)

Unfortunately, I don't understand how this place has been reviewed so well. Perhaps I caught them on an off day, but this place was extremely disappointing with food quality. I ordered the salmon eggs Benedict but instead received rubbery eggs with fully cooked egg yolks and the driest salmon I have had in quite some time. My boyfriend ordered their Carne Adobada which had no heat at all and tasted like gringo chile. A bad representation of a great nm dish. He ate it since he was starved but I couldn't finish mine, which I rarely due just due to my ethics. The manager didn't charge us for mine so kuddos for good customer service, won't be returning unfortunately.

Hannah and Nates has been at Riverside for over ten years. I've been eating there since the beginning and after ten years it is still a great place to have breakfast and lunch. What makes this place great? Well, there are a lot of things, but for me Food has to be the first thing. They have a lot of unique items on their menu that made me fall in love with the place from the beginning. They serve super sandwiches. The Tuscan Meatloaf, Rio Grande Turkey, Grilled Portabella, and Bosque Grilled Cheese sandwiches are all very good, and taste like no other sandwiches I have had in Albuquerque. There are other great sandwiches on the menu, but those are truly unique flavors. The Bosque Grilled Cheese might possibly be my favorite Grilled Cheese that I've ever had. It comes with Basil in it, and that just does something to the flavor that can't be described. If you want a salad, you cannot go wrong with the Portabella Salad with the Creamy Vinaigrette dressing. The sunflower sprouts on this salad are just awesome. About five or six years ago they opened up another location in Coralles, and when they did, they added some more New Mexican items to their menu. While these foods are more of the traditional types of New Mexican dishes you will find on Mexican food restaurant menus, they are done very well at Hannah and Nates. The Breakfast menu benefitted the most from these additions. My favorite thing on the breakfast menu, and quite possibly on the whole menu, is the Breakfast Enchiladas. Get them with Over Easy Eggs and Red Chili. There is nothing better than their red chile mixed with an over easy egg yolk. Just like grandma made when I was growing up!! They have a lot of other good breakfast items including: huevos rancheros, Eggs Benedict, french toast, breakfast tacos, and more. Some other items of note. They have great Carne Adovada, any dish that includes it is bound to be a good one, including the Southwest Melt, which is one of my favorite appetizers. Always go for the red chile instead the green, except on the Sandwiches and the Quesadillas. They have a great Tomato Bisque too. The atmosphere is nice. It's a quaint restaurant, and I always feel at home. Lastly, the service is always great. Even on the days when they are super busy, which happens a lot, I have a good customer experience. I've been going to Hannah and Nates for ten years and I hope to be going for at least another ten years.

Hannah and Nate's is great! I love their Carne Adovada Crispers. A cheese quesadilla with carne adovada goodnes inside. Served with a chipotle ranch dipping sauce (and I usually hate chipotle anything). The Roasted Veggie sandwich is good, as is everthing else I've tried on the menu. The service is pretty quick and friendly and the food is fairly priced.

Found on yelp, wife said she just seen it the day before. Prices are great. Food and portions are good. Service is excellent. Plenty of parking which can be a pain at some locations. The reason for only four stars is I ordered hot chocolate, and you could tell it was instant and I felt over priced a bit. The kid menu was priced well and baby boy ate it and liked it.

Solidly good breakfast, very nice people, beautiful space... and a shocker... I never in my life thought I'd be able to say "I love the red green chile (more than the green?!?? Really?) but I very much did. But that's the beauty of getting it xmas. :)

Delicious food, vegetarian options available. Good service. I held back one star because it's very noisy!

This is one of my all time favorite breakfast spots! The service is great, the atmosphere is just comfortable. It's a small intimate place. I love the ABQ Breakfast bagel and the omelets are great! My fiancé loves their breakfast burritos too. Everyone now knows my name when I come in and it feels like a second home. Highly recommend!

This place was pretty good. Really chill great service. I didn't particularly like the French toast but my wife did and I loved her traditional breakfast burrito- so we traded. Ha. Loved it. Go here for good brunch.

The sandwich was very tasty the grilled peppers, carmelized onions, and a baguette bread blends well with each other good job guys!!!
