Dont let the outside fool you! My family and I have been going to this restaurant for over 20 years. They give you huge portions and everything is always cooked fresh. I love that they use white meat chicken in most dishes. Whenever I'm in town I always have to eat here. I usually get the combination plate with the cashew chicken, SO GOOD! I have tried pretty much everything on the menu and have never been disappointed. I lived in Phoenix, AZ for over 3 years and never found a Chinese restaurant that rivaled this one.

What a great little find! Excellent food, huge portions and friendly staff! We had ordered a variety of dishes and we enjoyed the appetizers. Had the spring rolls and egg rolls which were fresh and hot. They have daily lunch specials which are reasonable and portion is as much as a dinner plate. Customer service was excellent. When you have a family owned restaurant you experience the quality of food and service. Atmosphere is very homey and welcoming. I will recommend this place to friends and family.

Great fresh vegetables and hot food. Wasn't sure from the outside but this place is really good. A lot of food for the money too. Three of us ate lunch including two shrimp dishes for under $20.

The food and service here is great. They had a daily special which was general tso's chicken and fried rice. LOVED the price LOVED the taste. I definitely will be back again. The only drawback is that the floors are obviously dirty, but I know in Chinese culture that a dirty restaurant is considered a good thing, because you are working too hard to focus on cleaning.

I've been coming here since I think 4th grade. The owner is the sweetest man and his daughters come in when I think he needs help. They have huge portions! They have a daily special that I think ranges from $4.95-5.95. Honestly, who can beat that?!? It's a small place and has been redone with stuff that the owner bought when another Chinese place closed down. Happy to say they are now accepting cards!

I've enjoyed eating here for 17 years. The service is always great. The staff is amazing- Always smiling and always pleasant. The food is made fresh and I have never sent anything back. Even tho this is a tiny little 'hole in the wall' place it is by far the best Chinese food in the area.

Decent to good. I got my order to go and there was plenty of food. I ordered the kung po and the pork chow mein. The kung po was spicey, but not overly. The chow mein had a lot of celery and was okay. The egg rolls were good. Overall... just good. Not terrible, not great.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
