Good East Coast Pizza, like home. I even eat it by the slice. Great red sauce. However, I have a hard time taking anyone seriously who leaves capicola off an Italian sub and replaces it with pastrami. But, again, this is New Mexico. All of that said, the Calzones (and red sauce) here are as good as any I ever got on the East Coast. Whenever I'm in town, I make sure I come here and get multiple Calzones to go. Highly recommended!

Love this pizza but it's been over 2hrs and I'm still waiting for dinner. Supposedly the driver left an hour ago. However, they are only 5 minutes up the block... After 3 calls I called to cancel and they were unapologetic and hung up on me. The owners should consider hiring staff with better customer service skills.. Not a happy customer. Time to find a new pizza joint.

Not impressed... The regular crust was a lot thicker than what I was expecting. I wonder if I may have enjoyed my pizza more on the thin crust. We also ordered wings and specifically asked for them extra crispy. Well when I received them there was nothing crispy about them. There is nothing nastier than rubbery, slippery, fatty chicken wings. Especially when you have paid $7 for 6 TINY wings. Disappointed and will not return.

As an East Coast transplant to Albuquerque, I'm confident in saying that Venezia's makes my favorite local pie (pizza pie, that is) -- their crust and pizza sauce being a special treat as it reminds me of a few pizza shops from my hometown in PA. Unfortunately, the service can be unpredictable. Understanding that delivery can require patience, I am usually willing to wait the estimated hour for delivery -- and in my experience delivery does require some proper planning when ordering via web as it usually does take roughly an hour to get your food. My most recent experience, however, I waited nearly two hours for our pizza! With 10 minutes remaining before the store closed, we finally called inquiring about our order -- hoping that they had been unexpectedly busy on that Wednesday night and were on their way. Somewhat appeasing, we were reassured that the driver was on his way. Our delivery driver promptly arrived after our phone call (in the estimated amount of time it would've taken to drive from Venezia's, a mere 5 or so minutes away). Hands full and now very greatly anticipating our fresh-from-the-oven pie with melting, gooey cheese and freshly baked crust, I asked our driver if our side order of pizza sauce was included in the order. He said "YES," accepted his generous tip and left. To our disappointment, we discovered that not only was our side order of sauce missing from the order, our pizza's cheese had somewhat hardened and the crust barely retained any warmth. This pie had been out of the oven for some time. Prior issues with our delivery drivers -- twice the driver has either taken down the wrong number provided via web or neglected to include my out-of-state area code -- have somewhat dampened my opinion of Venezia's, but I retain my opinion that their pizza is great. My advice, if you're near enough, endure the slight inconvenience and pick-up your order. Otherwise, be prepared for at least an hour wait and possible difficulties with delivery -- oh, and order a side of the pizza sauce. It's great for dipping your crusts.

I read such good reviews about the pizza, I had to stop here on our road trip to Cali. I was very disapointed. The gluten free pizza was chewy and the sauce tasted canned. We waited for a LONG time at 6 PM on a Tuesday for a small pizza and cheese fries. The place also looked very dirty. I almost wanted to leave as soon as we got there but we were so tired and hungry from our drive. Luckily I do not plan on ever returning to Albuquerque

We decided to stop by and have a slice of pizza after a movie. We liked that they had cafe tables outside, however the road was terribly noisy. We told our server that we were going to sit outside and then they had trouble finding us. We waited for over a half an hour for a slice of pizza to be warmed. We inquired at least three times and were told it was coming right up. We really wanted to have a nice pizza shop experience, but the fun was just sucked out of us.

I'd been to the one in Rio Rancho plenty of times, but when spending time in and around the Women's Hospital this past week I made it by this Venezia and was pleased with the results. They have the same great pizza down there, coupled with fast service and a little bigger space than their location up on the west mesa. It was a right fine lunch, and I'd totally recommend it if you're in the area.

We order from Venezia's regularly at work. They deliver...which is a bonus. The pizza is good, really good. The "breadsticks" are really good, as well. But even better is the service. Always friendly, great service. They recognize their customers and take care of them!

Expensive. Lots of end crust. Lacks sauce. Toppings don't have a lot flavor. Pizza should be an experience where many ingredients come together...the pie should be more than each ingredient. Not so with the pizzas that I had from Gino's. Underwhelmed is an understatement. Salad was a lot of iceberg lettuce with a few small pieces of cucumber and tomato.

Meh. I waited 25 minutes for two slices of pizza. Mediocre pizza at that. The place was dingy, the table was sticky and the AC wasn't working. That was a miserable 25 minutes I tell you! I won't be back.

Pizza is really good. It's a lil pricey but you get what you pay for. Plenty of sauce, cheese and toppings. Ordered a large pizza. It'll feed 4 to 6 people. Ordered online and food arrived hot within 45 minutes.

Lady at the counter was super nice. Went in for their $7 lunch special. It was a lot of food.. 2 Gigantic slices of Pizza.. Being that I'm from Staten Island, NY, home of the best Pizza in the world, I wouldn't call this Pizza "New York Style".. In order for it to be NY Style, it needs to be more rubbery, cheese has to be extra stretchy, and there should be a pool of orange grease dripping from it. When you can accomplish this I'll give you 5 stars. Otherwise, let it be known that the pizza was DELICIOUS..

Ok so we were looking on yelp for places to try out, I saw the bad ones here and some questioning them, so we decided to try it out, big mistake. We got so violently ill. The cashier with glasses took our order, touched our money, and then went straight to do our slices without washing hands. I noticed none of the cooks wear gloves or wash their hands the entire time I was there and they went back and forth to the back, I'm guessing the cooler. Now that I came back to help to write this review I noticed a couple of them just have simply be removed, and I wish they hadn't..... Aside from getting sick and this, the food was nothing special it all tasted generic. The sauce simply tastes like crushed red pepper and garlic in it there's nothing flavorful or unique here. If this is what passes for good food here Id hate to see bad food. I should've known to walk out at the first sign of bad hygiene, lesson learned.

The Chicken Parmesan hero and chips or any hero was $5 on Thursday. Needed a switch-up from green chile land and this turned out to be a decent choice. The cutlets were well cooked and crispy and tucked nicely into a decent french/italian roll. It is tough to top some of the places I have eaten in bigger cities, so the 4 stars is simply for ABQ. Yeah it needed more cheese (i think you can order extra cheese) and the hero roll could have spent some more time in the oven, but at this price and there were at least 4 big pieces of chicken breast, it was filling and a good start to expanding outwards away from New Mexican food. Will be back again. Order ahead, it's must easier if you are getting it to go.

Came here recently with two guests and ordered a few slices of pizza as well as a ceasar salad between the three of us. The pizza was done quick enough that this would be a great place to come for a quick office lunch. The slices of pizza were HUGE and were also really tasty. They were somewhat greasy, but I guess I can't expect mush else, right? The ceasar was crisp and refreshing and the dressing was good as well. Overall, I am impressed with the quality that we got here. Is it the best pizza in Albuquerque, no. But at the same time, it's tasty and inexpensive. I would suggest it for sure.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Waited over an 1 1/2 for our pizza. Gluten free. I was mortified! Soggy, undercooked and tasted like it was frozen. Sad! Gonna stick with pizza 9

This place has HUGE slices of pizza. That being said, I dig thisplace. With a shovel. When I am in the mood for pizza, I go here because it's good pie and an honest shot at NYC pizza.

Pizza is really good been orderibg from here for years but was very disappointed that they raised the price on What I already thought was pricey

Good old fashion pizza thin, saucy & great crust! Meatball and pepperoni is our favorite.

The pizza used to be one of the best in town. The party pie is a great deal, but the last three times I've ordered it everyone that ate it got sour stomach afterward. I think the employees aren't practicing good hygiene. Gross.

Eh. Not great. It was okay at most. The girls who took my order had hockey's on their neck. GROSS. Pizza was Luke warm and lacked flavor. Wouldn't go back again. I did try straight up pizza which was absolutely delicious and the staff was so welcoming and friendly.

Gave this location a try driving thru. Ordered sausage and was very happy with slice. Good crust and sauce. Staff was nice and order was made quickly. I was happy with the food. I will give another shoot the next time in area.
