Excellent egg salad. The staff here are very friendly and the food is good. They have great menu sandwiches, but you can also build your own, which is awesome. I had an egg salad and roast beef sandwich - the waitress and my husband both got completely grossed out, but it was YUMMY! They made it exactly as I had asked and it was perfect. Loved it! They have awesome chocolate chip potato chip cookies, too. The place is decorated really cool, lots of local art. It's warm, cozy and inviting. Absolutely try them out!

This little dive is CAFE PERFECTION. The space is neat and bright; the staff is experienced and actually the best wait staff I've ever had - thorough and relaxed and five star attention without the pretense. And then the food. THE FOOD! The staff is (almost) as good as the food (which is saying something because the staff is stellar and friendly and as down to earth as can be), but if you are looking for your favorite deli sandwich done right - this is your place. I tried the (turkey) Reuben, and it was juicy, plentiful, and really tasty - all the things a Reuben should be. I can tell that I will get cravings for it from now on when I want a Reuben! My husband got the Rio Grande (sandwich) which was bursting with flavor and left him extremely satisfied. All sandwiches come with a side of soup or salad (great deal for the price!) --- we got the soup they have every Friday...I think it was Green Chili Chicken...I am from the East coast and not huge on spicy, but all I can say is that I was super glad my husband got full before the soup was gone because I couldn't get enough!! SO YUMMY and satisfying! And one last thing, our server went the extra mile effortlessly and brought us their homemade ranch dip to have with our potato chips...Move over Hidden Valley! That stuff is the truth! We will be regular customers here!

We stop here everytime we are in town. We always try a different item and have loved them all. My husband and I always get a different item so we can share. The desserts are to die for. I highly recommend this place for the best food and best staff in NM. Once you try it you will always be back for more.

Another great lunch at less than $10. Superb Chelsea sandwich with chips and some awesome green chile chicken soup. So happy it's near my house and open Saturdays.

Quaint and relaxing atmosphere coupled with freshly made and flavorful sandwiches. Pinon coffee is to die for. Will be going back soon.

The place is clean, bright, and not to crowded. Service was fine and the food was good. Didn't feel like it was anything fantastic but the food didn't disappoint either. If you are looking for a solid lunch spot this place has it. Good variety of sandwiches and salad choices.

This place was great! It was busy, but they greeted everyone that walked in with a smile and/or had a small conversation with everyone. There were the usual's and the newby's like me. I ordered the french dip with green chile and the posole. both were great with lots of flavor. The price was right where it should be in terms of portions and quality. i recommend this place.

I have gone on my lunch many times and never had a bad experience. Yesterday I went in on my lunch hour and had the worst service ever. Our food took so long that I was unable to eat there. I asked for my good to go and that still did not come in time.y parents had to take it to me. A gentleman walked in AFTER us and received his food before us. He told the people next to him he works there so he got his for free and double meat. We brought it to the lady's attention and her response was "sorry you feel that way" the worst part about the whole thing not once did any staff member apologize or try to make it right. Also, our waitress asked US what happened to our food and asked if we has eaten yet. Umm no hello we have been waiting over 45 minute for it!!! I will never go back again

Had lunch with a really good friend of mine yesterday. We try to go to new places every week. Walked in and was greeted right away. Asked if we had ever been there and made some suggestions about the menu. We decided to split 2 of the suggestions the Cecile and the Rio Grande with broccoli cheddar soup and Cesar salad. Can I just say it was amazing!!! So delicious. Not only was the service 5 star but so was the food. Didn't catch the servers name but she was awesome. Oh and I can't forget. We had potato chip cookies that were to die for. Also a suggestion from the server! Thanks cheese and coffee for a great lunch!

I like this place a lot. This time I got the Reuben and wasn't as impressed. Usually the meat when I have ordered them elsewhere is really tender, the meat here was very tough and dry. I didn't like it. The green chile stew was great, but it was incredibly hot which was annoying. I had to wait quite a while for it to cool down. Not my best visit, but I know they have better sandwiches like my favorite Sicilian. :)

Yummy yummy food - I had the Chelsea sandwich and Apple Waldorf salad. The salad was extremely fresh with crisp apples and not drowning in some sort of dressing. The sandwich was grilled to perfection with moist turkey. Very friendly staff and owner. Comfy setting with interesting art. You must take home one of their amazing cookies!

Reliably delicious. And the staff is always in good spirits. Go and enjoy. I have not tried a sandwich that I didn't like. The soups and salads are good as well. And if you still have room, they make fresh deserts daily...

Always a fantastic lunch! Sandwiches, salads, and soups are outstanding! Great service and welcoming atmosphere! I especially like the Chelsea sandwich with a Greek salad. Don't forget a homemade potato chip cookie or slice of cake on the way out!

Work next to this restaurant & it's delicious!! My favorite dish is the hamburger with Swiss cheese & roasted green chile. It's a great succulent burger. The side of chips & a kosher pickle spear just sets off the flavors even more. Nice location, great employees, & great environment. I always go back. Try it!

A great place to grab a quick bite close to Old Town and Downtown. Great food, friendly service. Great flexibility in the menu allows for healthy options or more indulgent treats. The Chelsea and the French Dip with cheese and green chile are my favs so far! The Waldorf salad gets rave reviews and, while it may sound simple, they have great fruit as a side option.

We went out looking for salads and the Cheese &Coffee Cafe filled the bill. The salads were fresh and delicious. The staff was very friendly. We sat outside and had a great lunch.

My company asked me if I had a suggestion for boxed lunches for a sales meeting for 8. I, without hesitation suggested the Cheese and Coffee Cafe on San Pasquale. All 8 of us picked out what we wanted from the menu and it was delivered on-time and correct. The delivery fee was $5. and well worth it! Thanks for great food and service.

I love this place!!! I dont get to eat here as much as I would like to, but everytime i do it's great. The sangwiches are always fresh and hot! Service is good, but the iced tea is excellent! I have had every hot sandwich on the menu, and have rarely been let down (personal taste). Try the Gyro, OPA! The Big Apple, let's hear it for New York! the Chelsea, perfect! The Sicilian, Delizioso! The Arty Special, Party special! The Rio Grande, I'd swim for this sandwich! But my favorite thing is build your own. I'll take french bread w/ swiss and provolone, pastrami and turkey, mayo, mustard, sprouts, lettuce, avacado, and green chile (or home grown jalapenos when they have them). Throw that sucker on the grill and BOOM! Best sammy ever!
