I left Albuquerque 8 years ago and not holding someone hostage for the ranchero sauce recipe is one of my biggest regrets!! Now once a year (if I'm lucky) I make one of my relatives go in and buy a 32oz container of the stuff and smuggle it to Oregon. Luckily the authorities here haven't figured it out yet because having something so flavorful and fire spicy that is not Thai related in the NW would be outlawed! (and yes, I buy very thin hamburger patties, processed cheese slices and pre-made taco shells slather it in the sauce and sprinkle on shredded lettuce and dream I am at Bob's...and able to order as many taco burgers as I want) You rock Bob's Burgers!!!

I had my first Bob's at the Central location, so later the day after my stomach was adjusted to the NM chile, I had to go again, to give my wife the Bob's experience. The location on 4th reminds me a bit of a In & Out burger joint, 50's style interior, nice seating indoors and a drive thru. Again a taco burger (this time the soft taco) and a footlong chili dog was on the menu. It was good, however it did not match up with my experience at the original Bob's. This location is a 3.5 but can't give it 4 stars. I hear rumors that there is another place in ABQ that tops Bob's, maybe later today I will check that out. I am here for one more day and don't know when I come back, so I might as well, don't you agree?

BEST Bobs Burgers in town! I ordered the Ranchero Supreme w/ green chile cheese fries. Iced tea (unsweetened) was brewed to perfection. Chile is hotter than the Bobs on Coors and Southern (RR). Delicious Chile! Awesome hamburger patty - moist (usually dry in RR). Veggies on burger fresh. French fries not too salty. Wonderful lunch!

Taco burgers are amazing. If you haven't tried one then You really haven't lived life , in my opinion.Taco Tuesdays they're cheaper so that's even better. Chile is consistently hot. Frito pies and chile cheese fries are good too... If you order chile cheese fries but hold the cheese they might look at you weird.

I tried their ranchero burger back in the day - which was decent - and so decided I would stop by and try their new breakfast offerings. I ordered the "veggie" (no meat) breakfast burrito with green. The tortilla was very well toasted, which I liked, the scrambled eggs were nice and light, there wasn't too much hash brown (although they were undercooked, which seems to be the norm here in the 505) it could have used more cheese and some more green - which was flavorful, but not that spicy. At $3.50 it was a fair price, if I found myself near another location around breakfast time I would stop by, but compared to the Burrito Lady or Golden Pride this place is just okay.

Mediocre burger and cold fries. I am assuming the fries were cold because I waited (no exaggeration) 30 min in the drive through line. Why wait that long you ask: well once you get to the speaker there is a concrete curb bordering the lane so you can't bail, and trust me, I wanted to. Skip this frozen patty chain and go to Blake's for good New Mexican fast food.

One of the best places to get good chile (red and green). Their burgers and fries are nominal, but in truth you don't come here for those. The Ranchero burger is covered with so much green chile sauce that you can hardly taste the sandwich, and that's just the way we like it. The burger patty itself is kinda "sausagey". Other items of immense delight: Green chile cheese fries, patty melt, frito pie, taquitos. Warning: the chile here is *SPICY*. If you are unaccustomed to New Mexico style chile, you do well to go lightly, and not just for your tongue's sake.

I've had a lot of disappointing meals in my life, but my meal at Bob's ranks among the very worst. I am not opposed to a greasy burger, and I am a big fan of both red and green chile, so the idea of a taco burger from Bob's really appealed to me. And, let's face it, Bob's is a pretty successful chain here in NM. So, I gave it a try. And it was disgusting. The patty is gray, shiny, wet, squishy from grease. No veggies on it, they just plop on an overabundance of some kind of pinkish goop with green chiles in it. I liked that it actually had some heat to it, but the flavor of it was atrocious. I couldn't finish it. Worst burger of my life. It was like eating hot wet garbage. It didn't even taste like a burger. The fries were okay, but you can find okay fries anywhere. I can't imagine it being possible to serve worse food at a restaurant without violating health codes.

Two taco burgers and an order of green chile cheese fries! That secret recipe green chile sauce is out of this world! My favorite local fast food restaurant...never disappoints, no matter which location I visit.

I love bobs burgers!!! The taco burgers are always amazing but the last few times I nearly gag from the chile cheese fries. They don't clean the oil I'm assuming because that's all I taste. Now I have to travel farther just so I don't get sick from them

The burgers are nothing impressive. The taco burger was bland and seemed like a pre made frozen patty with shredded lifeless iceberg lettuce. The drive through took a long time which works if your food is awesome but flavorless food and a long wait doesn't lead me back.
