Everything is homemade. Everything. Including the Natillas, which if you haven't had you're missing out! Their natillas are made with corn starch too. :)

Great food at reasonable prices! Owners and staff are always courteous and helpful! I always take coworkers for lunch and natillas!

This is kind of a cool little local restaurant that's tucked away in a strip mall on the West Mesa. It's family owned and operated and they are very friendly and accommodating to their customers. Their ordering system is slightly odd but - you're eventually fed. Their serving sizes are large, their prices are fair and their burgers, fries are Mexican options are really good. I'll recommend them!

Just ok. Fish tacos were bland. Many better options in the area. Service was fine.

This is just like Austin City Limits, except for the music, and the audience, and the um... Well, it's exactly nothing like Austin City Limits. Well, it's like Rod Stewart playing Austin City Limits. A little past his prime, not exactly a show I want to see, but still worth watching. Which, in the case of this restaurant, translates to food that doesn't really tempt my tastebuds but, ya know, it's chile and red meat and those sopaipillas never fail to make my belly purr. Other reviews definitely nail the friendly service atmosphere. I was pretty impressed with the groove these guys struck, managing the register, prepping and bouncing to and from the kitchen. Still, there's no perfect formula for order-at-the-counter, so if you arrive during a rush you will wait in line. Order-at-the-counter also places you at the mercy of whomever stands directly in front of you; places like this, with large menus and plenty of options, almost beg for crowds of indecisive patrons with a lot of time on their hands. Enough with picking on everyday people. The dining choices are Old Schoole and the green chile is kickin'. Burgers, enchiladas, home style eats that pack it on, smothered in friendly tradition. We were really unimpressed with the chicken here, insanely dry and bland, but hey, what were we doing ordering chicken? That's like getting waffles at the House of Pancakes. These people specialize in red, red meat, so get it on.

Get here right at noon to avoid the rush! OK, its been a minute since I've eaten here, but was in the neighbor'hood' & thought hmmmm, I feel nostalgic for their chile, meatloaf, chocolate cake, enchiladas, guacamole tostadas...haha, actually I got the slice of cake and the tostadas & YUM! The side of beans w/a sprinkle of cheese is awesome, as well as the rice...homemade goodness! Also, they no longer use onions IN the guacamole, just simple avocados & jalepenos just decadent! The staff here is very, very nice as well and the atmosphere is wide open, earthy and you really just dont wanto leave to be honest...

Food was not that good, I had the red enchiladas and it had a sweet taste , the sopapilla was greasy. I don't think I will be back.

I visited this place while back and it was the best! Everything is homemade. Green chile is hot, just they I like it. The potato salad was homemade, huge plus being from Northern New Mexico I absolutely loved it. Yummy! The owner and her family run the place. They are friendly and easy going. The restaurant is very welcoming and clean. Love it!

Best I have ever had." Enter as a stranger and leave as a friend". Food and service is excellent. Fresh made burgers not from frozen patties. Home made chocolate cake. Natillas are the best. Family owned and operated the best.

VERY friendly place. It seemed very clean as well. The decor is a cross between country kitchen and Southwest.....it worked. My son ordered a kids pepperoni pizza (which, amazingly, he finished!), the hubby ordered a green chile cheeseburger.....he said it was really good. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and a side salad. To be honest, I was expecting the salad to be a bowl of iceburg lettuce, maybe with a cuccumber and tomato slice. Nope. It was a lovely spring mix, some grape tomatoes and chunks of sweet pepers. It was a higher quality salad than a lot of other places. I would like to go back so that I may try other menu items, which looked really good on the other patrons plates. The only thing I didn't care for was the fact that they had 2 TVs going.....2 different stations with the volume up on each, as well as the radio......too much noise. And out in front of the restaurant, the music was BLARING!

Staff are very friendly and helpful and with a slower pace pace of a family owned restaurant compared to a major franchise, it's very calming and relaxing. Although I liked the decor, the food was a bit lacking. I had the red enchilada plate (3 enchiladas covered with red chili) which came with rice and beans and it tasted like I was eating a microwaveable hungry man dinner.

Went there on biz trip on suggestion of customer. Apparently it's where all the locals eat. (cops, fire fighters). It's a family own place with great food and excellent pricing. You order your food at counter and they bring it out to you. Nothing fancy just a good place to eat a good meal.
