Nice little place. I didn't try the cupcakes but had the bubble tea. Perfectly made, and they don't charge extra (like other boba tea joints) for multiple flavors and tapioca, etc.

Absolutely charming!! On my first visit to NM my sister took my husband and I here, YUM!

Amazing food. Great Cupcakes. We had the panini and the greek salad and i will definitely be back for both

Great breakfast sandwiches. My husband and I are big fans of the breakfast sandwich on a fresh croissant. Fantastic! Cupcakes are underwhelming...they try to make exciting flavors but cake is too dense. Stick with the breakfast sandwich and you can't go wrong!

Awesome little shop. Great food/environment. They actually close at seven pm now but still great place!

The Food is excellent. Operated by very talented cooks. Meat and bacon cooked to perfection! The facility has two working restrooms and many seats inside (it seems small from the outside but it's actually big). They offer unique sides instead of the normal fries. Like I got Mac and Cheese as a side with my burger. They are apparently famous for their Boba tea (I didn't have any though :p). Also they have a neat chalkboard wall in there for you to draw your creative designs/art and write nice comments! :)

My favorite place to eat in Alamogordo!!! Don't expect fast service, but the food is fresh and worth the wait if you have time. The cheeseburger is my favorite.

Doesn't deserve any stars. With family visiting out of town they wanted a cupcake for dessert. We walk in at 7:20, when they have their signs on and say they close at 8.. For them to tell us they are closed?! I say they closed at 8, with the response "well, uh yeah... We close at 7:30" well that's fantastic. That's 9 minutes from the time we walk in and they say they already washed everything. We tell them that its 9 Minutes from now and they still refuse service. And didn't even know what time it currently was anyways. What dishes does it take to put a few cupcakes in a plastic togo container? None. Yet they tell us they are closed and refuse us service. They will never be getting any business from us in the future. Horrible customer service, rude. Maybe you should turn off your signs!! And not lie about the times you close.

We visited for lunch and had a great time. The food was excellent. The burger was fantastic. The cupcakes were out of this world (and we bought one of each to prove it). Definitely worth a stop in!

Cute little place. I knew the cupcakes were good (5 or 6 types that I've had) but recently went there with friends for lunch. I had the mac & cheese with bacon sandwich and a Greek salad as the side. Interesting and fantastic. I've had a wrap and soup since then and all have been really good. The service tends to be a little slow but the staff is small... but as long as you know that, it's ok. It's the only thing I'd change. I'll definitely be a regular.

Stopped off for lunch. My wife had the veggie pizza and I had the bacon cheeseburger. Took a while for the food to be made. Apparently they lost the order and didn't put it in. Once we got the order, food was really good. They did give us a coupon for a refund after all.

The cupcakes are the stars here, but they have a wide array of cafe food, with paninis, wraps, other hot sandwiches, salads, and soups. The tomato green chili soup is especially good, with a strong and clear green chili taste. You can come in for just a snack or for a full meal. NOTE the new and much larger location: 601 N. White Sands Blvd., across 6th Street from the old store.

I used to come here atleast weekly when I lived here. Since I am here to visit family I was craving something sweet. I walked in tonight at 7:22pm. Merely wanted a cupcake. Possibly a Boba drink. I was standing in front of the manager. She whispered something to a younger boy and he walked over to tell us they are closed. We commented that the sign says they close at 8, as well as any social media page they are on. He stumbled over his words and said "well uhhhhh we close at 7:30" again we came back with well its 7:22, so we have 8 minutes. He said "well we already washed all the dishes". The cupcake display was completely full. There would be no dishes to wash by putting a few in a to go container. They lost a sale of probably $20 or more tonight and so much more in the future from myself, my family l, and any friends I have ever recommended to this establishment. Very rude and unaccomdating.

Great burger; chili cheese burger. Tasty turkey panini and washed it down with kale blackberry smoothie. pleasant simple atmosphere and really filling food. smoothie was an great surprise. Have a green chili cupcake to try when i get home since food was great in portions. More to follow!

Don't be fooled by the cupcakes, albeit good, the foods are the stars that shine here. Fresh ingredients make the difference, from the wraps and pizzas to the burgers there is nothing left to be desired in the taste department. When people care about what they produce you can tell and I hope that never changes at the Cupcake Cafe.

Yum-EEEE. I've been driving past this place for a while and my wife and I stopped in today. We were actually aiming for a Vietnamese tea place across the street that is not quite open yet when my wife noticed The Cupcake Cafe. We'd had a late breakfast but had some time to kill before an appointment, so we decided to check it out, and am I glad we did! It's a small cafe, three tables of two chairs each. Their case displays ten or twelve different cupcakes, most are priced around $2 each. We saw: Red Velvet, Vanilla Bean with Caramel, Maple Bacon, Italian Cream, Peanutbutter Cup, a New Mexico Green Chili, a Cheesecake, Chocolate Pudding, and many others that I can't remember. We went with three cupcakes: the maple bacon, the Italian cream, and one in a display case above the main case: Death By Chocolate. I am told the selection varies occasionally, which is good. I sampled our two non-chocolate cupcakes first, and we enjoyed both. Then my wife bit in to the Death By Chocolate. My wife is a serious chocolate freak. She likes the higher cacao levels, and her first words were 'I don't think you'll like this.' I knew, with those words, that she was really enjoying it. I tried it, and it was OK, I personally would prefer a slightly lower cacao level and a little sweeter. But having said that, serious chocolate buffs will really like this cupcake, and I was fine with her finishing off the DBC while I finished off the other two. They serve breakfast sandwiches, and for lunch they have wraps and flatbread pizzas. I have not yet tried these, but I intend to. Their drink selection is small as their focus is on cupcakes, a few canned/bottled sodas plus coffee, perfectly adequate for the focus of the restaurant. This is a great place for dessert or a quick snack. Having a friend or spouse with you, you can split three different ones and not feel terribly guilty about overindulging. I'm a fan of smaller desserts and frequently get the 'shooter'-sized desserts and split them with my wife, so this dovetails quite nicely with this particular fandom of mine.

The Cupcake cafe is an amateur attempt at baking. Hugely disapointed, the cupcakes were $2.50 each,we bought a dozen.they were dry, overcooked, they stuck to the wrappers and fell apart.the flavors were rudimentry at best with the pband j being a glob of grape jelly almost as an after thought. Sadly walmart makes a better cupcake.I see this business not lasting and even the two people that was working seemed very defeated.I believe that when they first opened tey had better quality now I think the ingrediants used including what taste like packaged cake mix is reflective of the lack of business. Greasy bacon globbed on top of , and a squirt of maple flavored syrup on the bottom does not define a true maple bacon cupcake.I did think the only passable ws the little mini cheesecakes although these too tasted lik they came from a premade package.if u want great cupcakes go to The Candy Bucket which uses everything fresh including fresh made frosting.
