I am a fan of I hop but not this one I ordered steak tips which werent even cooked they were so rare both me and my husband returned our food only to be given over cooked steak :/ my husbands scrambled eggs were under cooked and I wasn't even given a refill on my coffee But with that said when we complained about our food the waitress couldnt be more accommodating and apologetic she took my meal price off the bill and discounted a couple of dollars off my husbands bill for the eggs....we wouldn't return to this ihop but this experience wouldn't stop us from going to other ihops in different locations

Standard IHOP quality, nothing exceptionally noteworthy. Great service and friendly staff. Coffee is not worth the price.

My husband and I ate breakfast this morning (7/8/13) at the IHOP in Alamogordo, New Mexico. PROS: The waitress was attentive without being overbearing. The restaurant was clean and inviting. The women's restroom was also clean. CONS: We ordered the chicken fajita omelet and harvest grain pancakes. We asked that there be NO onions in the omelet and understood that there would be some onions in the salsa IHOP places on top of the omelet. When we received our food there were onions in the omelet and the chicken inside the omelet was overcooked and tough. The harvest grain pancakes were also overcooked/bordering on burnt. After eating at IHOP we went to Walmart and ran into a man that had been having breakfast at a table close to our booth. He asked how our food was and I told him it was marginal at best. He said his food was also overcooked. Whoever IHOP has cooking this morning is a horrible cook and should not be allowed to cook and/or a manager needs to oversee what is going out of the kitchen at the Alamogordo, New Mexico IHOP. We've eaten at a lot of IHOP restaurants in many different states and this was our worst experience (regarding food) that we've had in a IHOP. Very disappointed.

Food was cold upon arrival, not what we ordered in reference to the menu, had to return three orders of pancakes due to cheesecake missimg from cheesecake pancakes(the manager looked as well and couldnt find any) huge overpriced disapointment

Loud inside. I got the baconburger with bacon and cheese which was good, still they skimped on the fries. My wife couldn't finish half her breakfast plate as her servings were enormous. Service was fast and friendly. Not bad for a quick in and out.

Food was OK. The caramel hot-chocolate was amazing! My husband ordered an iced mocha, which didn't have have chocolate in it and tasted like horchata. The restaurant was clean and nice, and the staff friendly.

I have eaten here 3 times since the opening. One time it was very forgettable. The other two I enjoyed some what. They pretty much use Alamogordo water, which imo is an unforgivable offense. The staff was friendly and fairly quick. Not a bad breakfast joint.

Second time here since it opened. First time was bad, much better now but I'm still not impressed. Coffee tastes old and burnt, and I can make better french toast at home. Service was fast and courteous.

Saturday evening and its a slow steady. We were sat quickly and our server served our food to us in less than 20 mins! Great spot in Alamagordo!

Worst IHOP experience ever . We got the slowest service . A sandwich with just the fillet . All the orders were not even warm . And it was not even busy . The first time I realized I had to check reviews even for a IHOP . Avoid it if you don't to waste your time and money .

This is the 3rd time I've had the worst service possible at this location. The wait staff ignores you even when it's not busy. The wait staff needs some serious training on customer service. I honestly do not understand how this place stays in business.

The new cris-croissants are not a hit. It's not a croissant at all. It's a waffle folded over some unidentifiable glop. There was supposed to be berries on top but all I got was mush. YUCK. ( and their coffee is never hot enough)

We ate here last night & this was the worst IHOP experience I've ever had. Not up to IHOP quality or standard at all. I ordered the big steak omelet & it was pretty much an omelet completely filled with hashbrowns sprinkled with some sort of meat that was the color of pork chops had fat drippings on it but tasted somewhat like steak, the mushrooms were brown & slimy as if they were fried in bacon grease. The waffle was very dark brown & had a taste I could not recognize. We told the server & she explained it was a new cook. No reason to not follow quality standards. I didn't intend on paying for "training" food. Won't go here again.

Service was quick ( that's a first at this location ) 9 O'clock on Sunday didn't have milk. 2.50 for soggy hash browns. Every time I come here I swear it will be my last. Pains of a small town.

Mediocre, but what did you expect from a glorified Denny's? Don't order anything fancy; tolerable if you stick to breakfast or sandwitchs I guess.

This location is brand new, clean, and pretty much your standard IHOP. The staff are very friendly and our waitress made sure we were satisfied. Try their chicken tender dinner and of course, their chocolate chip pancakes! Yummy!
