The worst. Service is terribly slow, food is way too salty and overpriced. The atomosphere is like being in a loud, brightly lit club with awful music blaring. If you love ingesting dangerous levels of sodium, enjoy waiting 45 minutes for ten lousy wings and panther-piss beer, and loathe being able to hold a conversation with your dinner companions, then this joint is for you....

The service was mostly good and very polite. Multiple attendants came to assist and ask if we had been helped. We were seated within 5 min at the end of a busy dinner time. One of the attendants changed a TV to the station I requested. The Wild Wedges appetizer was tasty. Loved the sauce that came with it! We had wings and a burger. It was all good. This is a great place for sports fans to eat, have a beer, and wings. The service was a bit disorganized. That's the only con, and why I'm giving three stars.

Meh. Greasy flavorless food other than the wings which are standard. Sure you can watch the game by good luck getting it on the big screens. Fine if you are desperate for wings.

I'll start with the positive: I love their wings. It ends there. Customer Service: You know, after eating at this location 5+ times, it at least appears that they're making progress in the realm of customer service. It's not uncommon, however, to wait 20 minutes or more for a simple beer order, or to have your wings fail to arrive at your table. If you choose to sit outside, you would be led to believe that the indoor dining is "slammed" because of the long wait times and frequent mistakes made by the wait staff, only to walk inside to use the restroom and find that the restaurant is completely empty on a weekday evening. The managers will stop by to ask how you're doing, and then upon hearing your complaint offer no form of assistance whatsoever. It really is impressive. Pro Tip: If you want a beer with your meal its quicker to just walk to the bar and order it separately. General Douchebaggery: The restaurant was asking for a $5 cover at the door because they were playing the UFC fights. This just seems unnecessary. Overall: It's 1 of 3 bars in town so you're stuck with it regardless. They know this, you know this, so enjoy your time in Alamogordo.

Wow... why all the negative reviews? Passing through town for the night and wanted someplace close I could walk to (all day in the car = enough!) and have some good food in a good environment. Walked in, greeted and seated right away and my server was right there to take my drink order. Due to an Avis screw up (yep, that's another review!) I was an hour behind schedule all day, which meant no food and I wanted to order the whole menu. Kept it simple with a snack size hot wings (menu says UP to 5, not 5) and a Pepper Jack Steak Wrap - and a beer and water. Drinks came fast and food came not much more after that. Eyes way bigger than stomach, but it was tasty and hot and as advertised. Refills on both water and beer came quick. My server had a minute to sit and chat with me, and the manager on duty - well he's slightly sadistic as he saw me apparently panting for air after eating my (perfectly seasoned) hot wings and had me try another sauce. I may never feel my taste buds again, but it was a great chance to try something new! Only thought for improvement - host asked me if I was there to cocktail or dine - I was there to dine but as a party of one didn't want to take up an entire table - asked if I could sit in the bar and eat and was told no. Not a big deal but when on business travel it's nice to sit at the bar, chat with others and be able to eat. Shout out to server Paedon for being so prompt and friendly and to random manager for trying to kill me :) I'll definitely stop in here again next time I'm back this way!

The nachos were disgusting, and just like many of the other reviews our service was horrible! It's like they hired a bunch of kids for there very first job!! The girl never brought back our drinks and after she passed us a few times we would have to remind her what we ordered..she couldn't remember anything! And when we left there were a few employees that pushed past us at the front door and one was fist fighting with what may have been another employee or a customer... It was a very unpleasant visit to say the least!

Currently, this BWW is the bane of my existence. The food is generally good and the managers are great to work with, which is important since you will most likely need to speak with one. I understand that there would be a learning curve when they started, but let's get with the program people - it's been nearly 3 months now. There should be more consistencies than just the reliable they-must-be-new feeling you'll most likely have when you go. Unfortunately I don't have the time or the thumb dexterity to go into elaborate detail about every travesty we've experienced at this Buffalo Wild Wings, however I will share my 3 most recent BDub encounters. You know you've been to the BWW in Alamogordo when: 3. You don't get the correct amount of wings...not even close...4 visits in a row. 2. You get the wrong rub on your wings and they wastefully throw them away which leaves you sitting awkwardly foodless among your friends while you wait for what will hopefully be the right wings. Too bad they don't realize those starving kids my mom always told me about don't live in the garbage. 1. Even though they show you your wings with to-go orders, sometimes they rush through the showcasing so you only know the box isn't empty. Then you get home with your to-go wing order with not just the wrong rub or sauce, but NO rub or sauce. Wonderful. While it's exciting to finally have a Bdubs in Alamo, it is a tragedy to dread dealing with the reliably shotty service. I hope to revisit this review later and smile in awe at how far they've come...fingers crossed and may the wing gods be with you.

After all the bad reviews, I had no plans to eat at this Buffalo Wild Wings location, but my husband wanted to go and there ended up being nothing to complain about. Service was good, our order was correct, the food was hot and it didn't take too long to get to us. Either we just got lucky or they have worked their kinks out.

1st time in Alamagordo so figured it was a safe bet. Had a few local craft beers but not as many as some other B-Dubs. Bar was a bit dirty but I believe a big crowd just left and Bartender didn't have a chance to clean up. He did so a bit later. He was friendly and courteous so no complaints on that end. Ordered the tenders with onion rings and they were good. All in all a safe bet when in town

I feel compelled to write this review because we have been in this establishment several times now and EVERY SINGLE TIME they have messed up our order. The topper was when my husband picked up a carryout, brought it home, and my sandwich was missing the top bun! No it was not supposed to be that way - it was a burger! Standard fare is not getting the fries when you order them, getting the wrong sauce, etc etc. The wings are OK which is why we return at all, the sandwiches are barely ok, taste very 'fast food'.

Thought this would be a cool place to get a salad and a stiff drink :/ The atmosphere and my salad were good. The wait staff was friendly, neat and clean. The problem is that the staff doesn't work very hard..at all. It was kinda like watching high school kids in Gym class shooting the shit. I ordered a vod martini on the rocks...took forever and the bar tender had no clue. She gave me a straight up martini....and she forgot to order my salad....and it took forever. The place wasn't even busy. Then, after driving around the building on my way out, around 6-8 servers were behind the restaurant smoking, joking and texting. This place needs to clean house..starting with the managers that obviously have poor leadership skills. Too bad because this restaurant could be making a ton of money!

This review is for the bar area/staff. Horrible!!! We sat down and there were maybe 4 different groups of people so it wasn't busy. Our waitress came over to ask what we wanted to drink right when we sat down but we weren't ready so asked her for a few minutes to decide. 15 minutes later we were still waiting with many servers standing around. Ugh! I finally went to the bar to order and we received our wine. It was warm! Warm Chardonnay! Seriously? The bartender was very apologetic but she didn't have any cold Chardonnay. But who serves warm Chardonnay? I won't be back. Warm wine is one thing but bad service is quiet another.

So, the service is really hit or miss, especially behind the bar. Chad is always great. There's one guy that always looks really sloppy and chews on his fingers... Then handles food and drinks. Omg it's gross. A few of the severs really pull slack for the ones that suck. It really shouldn't take 15 min to get a beer. They've got a lot of work to do, but with their corner on the market, the outlook of it getting done is dim. If you want great service and can do without the wings, you're better off at applebees with Ajah behind the bar.

Had a little wait to be seated when three employees were standing there. Only after I made a comment did I get a greeting, but then was seated by our waitress because she saw us standing there. Food was plenty and up to bdubs standards. Waitress was good and attentive.

2 stars only because B-Dubs has some good wing flavors... THIS location not only suffers from the standard, sub-par Buffalo Wild Wings food quality, but also from inattentive, error-prone service. Ordered a beer - you forgot what I asked for? Ordered 15 wings - you brought me 10? Ordered wedges with 'em - didn't bring any? Reminded you that I ordered wedges - still never brought any? Add these problems to the fact that every B-Dubs I've been to skimps in wing sauce and this... place... blows. This specific location does, however, deal with over-crowding since it's the only bar/restaurant open at certain hours. Last time I was here, there wasn't a cold beer in the building because of someone's poor planning. What? I won't be back...

I wasn't sure what to expect en light of the poor reviews I had read on here, but I was pleasantly surprised.. If not even impressed. First, the service was remarkable! Pamela was courteous, friendly, and prompt with our order. The wings were cooked perfectly..the flavors were great! We got the salt and vinegar, buffalo, and the parm garlic. The fried mushrooms were the best I have ever had. To top it off, the margarita was also one of the best I have ever had. I would definitely recommend BWW, and will be back again for sure.

I was nervous the place would be packed for NFL sunday, but it was surprisingly empty at 11am. I got VIP seating in front of the giant screen playing the Ravens/Falcons game (in NM!!!) and they even played the sound for my game, so I couldn't be happier. My server was adorable and came to check on me regularly. I was excited about the mini corn dogs, but they were out of them. I decided on the fish tacos (don't get this if you are a fish taco person, they used fish from fish and chips and put it in a tortilla) and the slaw is actually cole slaw reminiscent of KFC. I have been to this chain before, but I forgot how good the mango habanero sauce is--has a real kick and I love spicy. I also ordered the snack wings which were all drummettes, which is good if you like them, but I personally like the other part so I was disappointed. The salsa reminds me of something (not chi-chi's) good so I ate all the chips (which did not seem like fresh fried tortillas as indicated on the menu). The rating is entirely for the experience, I couldn't ask for more as someone who is looking for a great place to watch an out of state game. Not sure I would recommend it to anyone who is not into sports or wings. This fits perfectly in the sports bar/ wings genre.

The food here was great, very consistent with other BWWs we have been to. However, they need to work on the service. We arrived with two adults, two kids, and an infant. They tried to seat us at a square table for four, with three chairs and a sling. I had to remind them that we needed 4 chairs, no big deal, but then she just scooted one of the chairs over to make room for the sling, so whoever ate there was going to have to eat at the corner of the table. Um, no common sense. I instructed her we should probably just have one of the booths or larger tables. She seemed annoyed, but moved us. Later, when my son's meal arrived, it had fries instead of the fruit cup we ordered. When we explained this, she brought us the fruit cup and let us know she won't be charging for or taking away the fries. Haha, ok, thanks for doing us that favor, since he didn't want them anyway. Also, our cheese fries didn't come. We told our waitress, and she said she would go see about it. By the time we were halfway through with the rest of our food, my wife finally decided to go find our waitress and let her know to forget the fries. Well, 5 minutes later, she brings them to the table anyway and says the kitchen forgot to cook them, that's why they never came. She started to place them on the table, and asked if we still wanted them. I didn't want to argue, so I said sure. They never offered to comp them or anything, so we ended up paying for something we didn't finish. All that being said, the food tasted great, and we will definitely return just based on the food. I ordered the build your own burger, and while a tad on the small side, the taste was there. While a little overpriced, it is a nice reprieve from many of the other places in Alamogordo.

I've been to several BWW across the country and have never been disappointed until now. Are server was pleasant when we did see her, but that was rarely and it wasn't even busy. It took asking for the sauces that came with my meal twice before getting them. my French fries were stale tasting and not warm at all and my veggies were dried out. When we were done eating it took over 20 minutes just to get a check. Definitely won't be returning.

Very good food, but a little busy. Seems like you have to wait forever to get a table. I'm going to say that this is due to the restaurant being new, so won't dock them for this. If you love wings, you'll love this place!

OK, I've been here enough times now to form an opinion. First time a friend and I wanted to have dinner there, we walked out because it was so crowded and noisy. Not my cup of tea, but hey, it's a sports bar so I can't fault them for that. Next, three of us went for lunch. Not bad, but $8.49 for a little hamburger bun with average pork and way too hot & sweet sauce? Oh, you do get fries, and friend who loves BWW in another city says get the wedge cuts. I had coleslaw. Bland. Others had generally same impressions. So I go back to sit at the bar and have boneless wings, Thai Curry sauce. Damn these are good I thought, but HOT! Unless you really like heat, stay nearer the top of the sauce list. Next time they were not hot, as in heat. Had to send back, though they did bring me more than I started with, even though I had eaten a couple. Don't like the regular wings; way too messy, and less meat. They have lots of beer specials, Tue., Thur. wing specials and happy hour deals. Glad to have BWW here for the extra choice, but less excited than when it opened.

I am so glad they came to Alamogordo! We have anxiously been awiating them to get here. I tried eating here after about 203 weeks of being open. I arrived and grabbed a table for my family. I was seated pretty quickly but waited about 25 minutes before the family showed up, and not one of the wait staff even bothered to ask me if I needed anything. My family arrived and we waited about 5 minutes before I had to go find someone to ask. Then we had about 3 servers come by to get our orders, mass confusion. They eventually got it sorted out. I ordered the chicken wings, and even with hte new oprdering system for wings (you dont order by the amount but by the serving size; xtra small, small, medium and large). My bonelss wings were great, though I would have liked a bit more sauce on it. The restautrant is great and have always loved the layout. Food: stars Armosphere: 5 stars Wait staff: 3 stars (2 initally, but raised to 3 by the end). Hopeflly they get the kinks worked out shortly. Would still reccommend this place to go to

I have been to BW3s in Charlottesville, Baltimore, Waikiki, Vancouver, and now Alamogordo...and while every BW3 visit is a hit-or-miss experience, Alamogordo's new franchise is definitely the worst. I don't know what the corporate trainers tried to do, if anything, when getting the staff ready for opening this new franchise, but it seems to have either been non-existent, substandard, or falling on deaf ears. The roaming managers are friendly and accommodating, but the regular service staff is poor. Bad attitudes, and lazy. Hot food dishes have been decent, but forget ordering the Garden Crasher...celery sticks and carrots that seem to have been cut weeks ago and are now dry and stringy. The beer selection is excellent and the prices are reasonable. If they can just fix the service problems, I would go there more often. Right now, I don't expect to go back. 8 March 2014 UPDATE: They are not showing tonight's Showtime PPV championship fight. All those TVs hanging in a sports bar and not one of them used to draw a boxing crowd for a PPV event...damn shame.

They're just starting out. We've done 2 take out orders and one dine - in with kids. All 3 times we had good service and accurate orders. Can't get much better than that for a place that's only been open a few weeks. As far as atmosphere, it's what you'd expect from a BWW. No complaints.
