We arrived at approx. 11:15am on a week day. It was surprisingly busy. We waited in line for about 7 minutes but mainly because we struggled to decipher the menu so we let people go ahead of us. (Also looks like you can call in your order and pick it up). After observation, burgers come with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles and mustard. You can get cheese for $0.50, and jalapeños for $1. The LOTAburger seems to be about 5.5inches in diameter, where as the ITSA burger is about 4 inches in diameter. That seems to be the only difference. They make your meal right in front of you so you know it hasn't been sitting around and was made to order. Additionally, They gave us a military discount for 10%. We got a vanilla shake ($2.69), but with a LOTAburger combo, with cheese and Large fries, the total was only $7.69. Then I just got an ITSAburger for me. The food was good an satisfying. The fries were slightly seasoned, and fried perfectly so they were crispy. The Large fry was smaller than expected but we could still split it. The burgers were tasty. The only real downside is that it wasn't mind blowing. It was good, just not amazing. Lastly though, they do have that fabulous almost shaved ice that is so so wonderful in your soft drink!! We will go again.

I'm new in town and I already know where my favorite place to get an awesome burger and fries. :)

The burgers and onion rings here are good, but the best dish is the breakfast burrito (only served mornings, unfortunately). It is a hefty burrito wrapped in aluminum foil that you can eat there or take out. It's made of two scrambled eggs, lots of hash browns, and your choice of bacon or sausage or carne adovada or beans (and some combinations) with red or green sauce included. Their kid meals are also good, and offer healthy options such as apples as an alternative to fries. The kid chocolate milks are huge and adored by the kids I know.

Low-quality, unappetizing, frozen burger patty... It's a burger joint! That's unacceptable. You're better off at McD's or BK. I won't be back. 2 stars because the seasoned fries and onion rings are solid... Too bad I wanted a good burger.

Why?!!! Why do people in El Paso get excited for crappy food?! The only thing worse than Blakes is whataburger . It's so bad that they are almost identical. Why would they open one up here in El Paso? The first and last time I went to Blake's was 20yrs ago, and I still remember the crap food that was served, it's the whataburger philosophy. They copy them so much that they have the same colored strips on their logo. Please people stop eating shit!! These "restaurants" need to close down. Skip this and any whataburger they are destroying taste buds on a regular basis!

Burger was nothing special, seasoned fries were a bit to seasoned for my taste and my husbands green chile burger was so spicy and saucy he could only finish half. Not going back, unless it's to rry breakfast.

I used to think this place was OK, but last few times it's only been tolerable. Burger is not bad if you bring it home and put your own strips of green chili on it, instead of the crappy chopped canned ones they rip you off for, and you can nuke it a few seconds as it probably won't be hot from Blakes. "Fast food" in name only, as they are slow... I completly dissagree with the poster who compared them to Whataburger; miles better food at Whataburger, at least in Roswell an Austin.

Love their breakfast burritos especially #5 with bacon and extra green sauce on the side, Yummy! Its the only thing I ever order from them....Not fond on calling in. One time they put me on hold and forgot me :( Not cool employees! Service is a little slow but they try their best and keep busy. I do think that this place is not the best looking fast food joint around, must say they do need to remodel or upgrade with the times. Maybe add some style to their boring look....for sure ;) Yup, but overall love the breakfast burritos which are so far the best in town :) :) :D :)

If you want an average burger and decent onion rings then this is your place. Nothing special or spectacular. The service was great and the speed was good. If I'm hungry and driving by, I might go again, but I won't make a special trip.

Staff is friendly and enthusiastic. The focus is on high quality ingredients, using New Mexico produce where possible. Call ahead to reduce your wait time. Really great food! You'd be crazy not to try the Green Chili Cheezeburger!

Mediocre at best. Wife an I were in town and this looked like one of those hidden gems and we were severely disappointed. I'd have to say the burgers were BARELY a step above McDonalds. We waited about 15 minutes with only two people in front of us. That would be fine if they were awesome but for mediocre burger not so much. Then they put the wrong stuff on mine so I waited another ten minutes for my replacement. All the time spent waiting was spent at their dirty indoor seating counter with all the nasty dead bugs lying about in every imaginable crevice. In addition the place has (or at least at this time) no working air conditioning. It was 97 degrees outside and probably only cooler inside because it was out of direct sunlight. My wife and I went back to the hotel and showered because we had sweat so much inside. I give it two stars only because the fries and onion rings were decent.

Wow, what to say about this place. Inside needs work, kitchen is rough looking, and service is slow. Food is pretty decent, if you lower your expectations.

They put New Mexico green chili on the burgers. So good. If you're in New Mexico you got o try Blake's.
