Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

I've ordered from just about every Chinese delivery joint in the Sayreville/South Amboy area, and have never really been wowed. This place, however, I have to give them one star over any of the rest. I'm a fan of eating IN at real Chinese restaurants, so this may account for why I am a tad bit pickier than most when it comes to the take out places--I find most are either too oily, or add too many fillers (carrots etc.), while others have that old/dirty oil taste to their fried items (chicken, wontons, etc.). Not the case with Lam's. Even the kiddies commented how this food was better tasting than other Chinese food places we have ordered from, and they are not picky eaters! Prices are a little higher than most places in the area (not significantly, but higher), but I'd rather pay the difference for better food. The delivery (we had an order of over 60 bucks) was pretty fast too arriving less than 45 minutes after we ordered. Qng xingyòng!

For Chinese takeout, this place is pretty good; I'd say the best in the area as I've tried all within delivery range, lol! Not only is delivery always pretty quick, the food is always fresh (for Chinese takeout) and hits the spot on those cold rainy days!

I have been living in this town for years. The Chinese food is mediocre to say the least. I stumbled on this place oneday and have been hooked ever since. The food is great. Tasty and reminds me of Chinese food from NY. The place is a great takeout spot.

I'm a stickler for general tso's chicken and this place has one of the better versions of this dish in Sayreville. There dumplings are pretty good as well. They are priced fairly low and you get a large amount of food with your meal. I usually eat here a few times a month when we're tired of the same old thing for dinner. Strictly a takeout joint not a lot of space to sit down and dine.

Very reasonable prices and the food tastes better than other Chinese restaurants in the area. Also I yet to have any problem with the orders I have placed unlike the other Chinese restaurant that are closer to my house. I have two others that are closer however I prefer new lams because of quality and price.
