What can I say? It's Stewart's. As long as your not expecting something other than a classic taste of America you will enjoy Stewarts. The food selection is actually really classic and also unique. Buffalo fried Scallops anyone? Fried Zucchini sticks? And of course you have classic rootbeer floats, and ice cream with all the stunts. At this point I would give Stewarts 4 stars. But there are 2 major flaws which is why I have to give it three. The first flaw is that there's no air conditioning inside. And I understand that it's expensive and that not everyone likes it. But I would think with most of this audience being older, and on the less healthy side this would be good for them. A suggestion would to make a small AC section for those who struggle in the heat and to keep some of the indoor non A.C. section at the same time. The other thing is similar in that it has to do with health, and that I think there should be some more grilled selections. Modern companies have to understand this is a health issue, not a preference issue and offer healthier selections. My In Laws would probably love to go to a classic place like Stewarts but with very little, if any healthy selections, it's off limits. Can't anybody make a grilled fish or chicken sandwhich on wheat? How hard is that? Overall though, Stewarts is a fun summer hang out!!

Reliable roadside grub. Good service. Clean outdoor seating. Cold root beer and creamsicle soda. This is a seasonal type joint but the season to head west towards Lambertville is long enough.

Just found a fingernail in my milkshake. Place is horribly unsanitary. The employees refused to compensate us for the entire meal and was only willing to refund the milkshake. My whole party was unable to finish their meals as I was vomiting outside. The staff was incredibly disrespectful and ended up laughing at us after we requested to be reimbursed for the entire meal. Please do yourself a favor and do not go.

Who can beat Stewart's Root Beer and a root beer float? It's just awesome, as is their pork roll sandwich and california burger. but their ice cream selection is limited.

The cheesesteaks and hotdogs are good, typical road food... the fries are always tasty too, but my favorite here is the icecream. The vanilla with the chocolate dip, and the twist with chocolate dip are the best around. I would drive down here for an icecream cone any day. Don't know what it is about Stewart's icecream, but I LOVE it!!
