Fun local place. Lots of retro western movie posters and an old dime store riding horse. Service was fair and the steaks were good. They do need to learn to serve the food hot and to serve some extra bbq sauce at the table. Overall a positive experience though.

Crappy food crappy waitress. It took over an hour for us to get out food and all she had was excuses as to why people weren't getting served. I think new management is needed at this location. Surely all of these aren't as bad as this onr

We stopped here for lunch on July 30, 2014. We waited 50 minutes for our food with the restaurant about 30% full. We ordered the Prime Rib sliders and when they came both the bun and the meat were all burned. We returned our lunches and when they redid them, the prime rib was still burned, but the bun was OK. The people around us were also returning their lunches or being compensated. The chicken tortilla soup was like a thick pasty sauce, not a soup! This was the absolute worst meal we have ever been served at a restaurant! Stay away!

Best stake house in town. The group I was with had the ribs, brisket, and the rattle snake pasta. It was all very very good. There extreme hot sauce is not that hot.

If I could give this restaurant negative stars I would. As soon as I walked in, I should have walked right out, based on the cold reception I received. I VERY rarely give 1 star, I actually don't know if I ever have before. The server was quite possibly the worst server I have ever had, and I dine out a lot. IF he bothered to come to the table he was literally walking away while he was finishing speaking. You could hear the servers and the kitchen staff yelling back and forth the entire time. The peanuts of the table were completely stale, I'm thinking they probably only refill the top every night. My Caesar salad was brown and DRENCHED in dressing. I wasn't able to eat it, when he came over to pick up the bowl and asked me how it was I replied with my opinion. And he just walked away. My meal, macadamia chicken actually wasn't bad at all. My mom had the brisket and sweet potato and she was unable to eat most of it due to quality. If I wasn't so tired from driving and it want so late I would have asked to speak to a manager. Unfortunately the hotel recommended this place and it does look like a cute place. There isn't much available right here, but if you could steer clear I would. It certainly has potential, but they seriously need to check their staff.

I had the pit roasted chicken withouth the rice. The chicken was very good, it was moist and the BBQ sauce on it made it worth every bite. We left quite a few peanut shells on the floor. I love the roasted peanuts. Service was a little slow for not having many customers.

Needless to say traveling to Nebraska is not really the highlight of my week. When you're used to downtown Denver and all the amenities and food at your finger tips, traveling somewhere without those things can give me a little anxiety. On this trip I decided to give Whiskey Creek a try since it was right across the street from my hotel. I'm so glad I did. I opted to eat here both nights for dinner. The menu is very similar to a chain restaurant with a steakhouse/BBQ feel to it. It has a nice bar and then a solid restaurant side that's perfect for the family and even the kiddo's. Being here on travel I decided to sit at the bar both nights. I've had the pleasure of trying: Baked Potato Soup Cobb Salad Chicken Fajitas - Thursday Night Special Small (Individual) Blooming Onion kind of thing Peach Cobbler - Homemade Their HH is from 2-6 and they have a plethora of deals or should I say steals. Sangria and Margarita's are $2 in addition $3 well drinks and some other beer specials. I wasn't particularly crazy about the margarita but the white sangria was strong and very good. The Cobb salad was fresh and presented nicely. The chicken fajitas were delicious and at $9.99 were a very good deal. Peach Cobbler was the highlight, homemade, sweet, and served with vanilla ice cream, very impressive. The food is consistent and good and exactly what I want when I have limited options. This is definitely one of the best picks in Scottsbluff. Take my word for it.

Excellent steak and macs, awesome staff. Good atmosphere, plenty of beer. Professional appearance, but laid back and easy to talk to. Id recommend this place to everyone i know.

Good food hot food service was adequate. Baked potato was extremely hot like micro wave hot and taste like it was micro waved. Filet was good. Nothing to write home about. It was wrapped in bacon. Size was average. It was stringy when I cut pieces off to eat but tasty.

I have been to whiskey creek probably ten or more times and never had a issue I live and Wyoming and most the good steak houses there are expensive but this one is 20 minutes away and very affordable. The food is awesome I usually have the prime rib or steaks. And the service is great there is usually bout a 15 minute wait for food but I'm not complaining. And the servers are great to highly recommend the place. ;)

Whiskey Creek is one of the nicer sit down restaurants in Scotts Bluff. They serve steaks and other things that can be cooked on a wood fired grill; their signature steak is the Flat Iron steak. However, I was hoping for an Omaha steak since we were in Nebraska. Our waitress asked us to cut into the steak before she left the table to make sure it was cooked to order which made me wonder about the chef's confidence. As soon as she walked away, my steak seemed to cook itself to a medium well. If I were you, I would try the signature bar-b-q. Everything else was OK and you will walk away full.

To introduce my review, I shall share this quote from my boyfriend as we came into Scottsbluff at dinner time on day 3 of a cross country: "The goal for dinner tonight is to NOT get diarrhea." And well, given our choices of Mexican food, a sketch diner, and here.... Whiskey Creek it was. I will give that it was fun to do the whole western theme, since we were in Nebraska. As a vegetarian in the west... the pickings were slim for me. But it was better that than deal with the aftermath of making my boyfriend eat Mexican food for dinner... I got a mushroom quesadilla (ya, I really wanted mexican food) and he got the brisket sandwich. I probably would have only given this place 2 stars, as the food seemed very just ok... but they put out a 6-pack of bbq sauce with the brisket. Now, I am a vegetarian with a serious (ok, maybe strange) passionate love for bbq sauce. So this place gets 3 stars because I was able to lather my quesadilla in delicious bbq sauce. Honestly, overall I would probably avoid this place... but then again I would probably avoid eating in Nebraska in general... so if you are in Scottsbluff and have to eat, I see no reason why you shouldn't stop here :-).

Went twice, both times the food was less than impressive. a total of 3 baked potatoes over 2 visits failed to be thoroughly cooked. This is really not ok for food over priced to begin with. alcohol on the other hand was good, and reliably.

We were expecting better when we went here for my husband's birthday. We had the Sunday special - 12 oz prime rib dinner. Although a great deal the prime rib had no flavor, the loaded baked potato as well as the bread were very dry. I had told the waiter it was my husband's birthday ( our reason for going there) and nothing more was said. Disappointing experience and food

Whiskey Creek is very similar to a Texas Roadhouse. I have ate at this particular Whiskey Creek on several occasions, and the food has always been of really good quality. I especially like their Jim Beam marinated steaks, those cooked medium rare are amazing. Only once was the service crap, and we let the server know that by the $2 tip for an $80 order. I went back in to the restaurant to buy some of their barbecue sauce, and heard the waiter complaining, so I think he figured it out. If you ignore me, I don't tip well. Every other time though, including the most recent time, the service has been good here. The prices here are the same as any other steak house, and the food is good.

Decent food, slow service. My wife tried the fish and I had chicken fried steak, neither were very good, just something to fill the stomach. Servers were friendly, but very slow.
