Nice little corner bar. The atmosphere is decent and simple. The food is always good. The drinks pretty good and the beer is exceptionally cold. A simple mom & pop bar that's perfect for a stop in after a long day.

This is our local bar but the service and food has gotten significantly better with the new ownership. Burgers, phillys and wings are their speciality with other tasty bar foods.

Just had the best club sandwich. Fries were good too. We really liked the jerk sauce on our wings. We will come back.

Wife and I went in there for lunch. Food was ok. We were the only 2 there other then 1 man sitting at the bar. Several TV's were in operation typical of normal sports bars. A large projector TV operating on a screen which was the size of a small truck. The man at the bar and the bartender was watching this screen and the column was turned up very loud. On this program showing was Comedy Central showing a program that was very offensive and degrading to women. We will never go back in fact the authorities should investigate why a program should be allowed to show in an establishment where women and children can be present.

I can't speak for the bar atmosphere after dark, but the lunch food is nothing to brag about. Of the group of 7 eaters, the tacos weren't made well and didn't taste good (only $1 each on Tuesday though) and the 2 burgers we order was burnt. If you plan to order a burger and are allergic to onions or don't like them, keep in mind that the burgers are made with onions in the patty... Apparently telling the server that you don't want onions does not light a lightbulb that she should mention the patties are made with onions. On top of the terrible food, the wait for the food was nearly 45 minutes. It was disappointing waiting so long for food that wasn't great.

The wings are awesome! We had the sticky Asian flavor. Big, juicy and crispy. Service was great. Very nice people. Good place to come for good bar food.

They make as much in house as possible, which accounts for a majority of the menu. Huge bet selection and good specials everyday :)

the bar looks the same since it was ferran's. the food was ok. good portions of food. i ordered the reuben. the toast was pretty toasted, and the reuben wasn't shredded, more like sliced from the meat itself. my brother ordered the nachos but to me it didn't look very pleasing. the portion size seemed small for loaded nachos. wings were ordered also. i think you have to specifically ask if you want them char-buffed. when the wings were ordered, it says they were char-buffed, but they weren't. i was told it tasted a little bland, however just the buffalo sauce was ordered, there are many flavors. i did like the beer. my new favorite one was there. the bar is small, but nice and clean. the staff is nice. with 7 or so of us ordering food, it took awhile to get, i think there's only 1 cook. bartender was nice and kept checking on us though.

The mom and pop corner bar lives! Great food. Great service. Club sandwitch was excellent as well as chicken sandwitch. A must go back to.

I was pleasantly surprised by the Hop House. From the outside, it looks like any other strip mall bar, and it's not like the interior is anything out of the ordinary either. However, they have a very impressive bottled beer selection with quite a few nice ones on tap as well. Happy hour pricing was nice, but the real kicker was the food. We had some of the wings with their homemade sauces (buffalo and Jamaican) and they were really good. The cheeseburgers were great and tasted homemade. Completely did not expect this quality of food and it will bring us back.

Hard to review a place that has no service. Sat there for 10mins at no time were we acknowledged by the staff. Place looks like they never changed the chairs from the time it was an Irish bar. Not going back..

Go for wings and stay for a great beer. We went on Monday and it ended up being 60 cent wing night and after tasting the wings we were glad it was! They have some great flavors when it comes to sauces and good tasting buffalo sauce, too! I had a Stone IPA that seemed to be a little off on freshness but at least they dared to carry a wide variety as some places don't have the guts. To top it all off, it was military Monday where any military service gets you 10% off. I got mine with a Veteran ID. This will be our go to place for wings in the future for sure!
