Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

Always great food and awesome service! Best Chinese food in Omaha by far! Sesame chicken is to die for!

A great family owned restaurant! The Homestyle Beef is an absolute must try, even though every meal I've had from here has been great. The portion size is good and the prices are completely reasonable. The owners are always there and always pleasant. A definite must try if you like Chinese food!

Not sure where all the 4-5 star people were eating. This was NOT that place. Food was fair with very small portions. My Mongolian beef had about as much meat as a McDonald's cheeseburger. Also, something that really bugs me, there is a difference between a spring roll and an egg roll. You are serving spring rolls! There are listed on your menu as an egg roll. If I knew what you were putting in my takeout order, I wouldn't have ordered it. I won't be back.

At last...great Chinese food in Omaha! They've been around for twenty years. I came in for a late lunch and asked for a recommendation. Owner asked how spicy and whether I wanted chicken, beef or tofu. I went for spicy shrimp and that is exactly what I got. With scallions and broccoli to offset the heat. Very good. Has become my regular takeout order. Before the shrimp arrived, I knew everything was going to be ok when I tasted the hot and sour soup. Just the right amount of heat and funk. Passed my litmus test. And they include great crab rangoon on every entree for no extra charge! Embarrassing fact: Later that day I told my husband about this fabulous meal and we returned for dinner!! The owner's wife came out to see this crazy customer.

I absolutely love this place. The food is delicious and service is fast. We always get the kung pao chicken and peanut butter chicken. The chicken is always tender and never dry. I really hope the place sticks around!

Came back again today for the first time in ages, and so has the quality. My mongolian beef was just as good as I remember it to be. The owner is so sweet, he knew my order before I said anything. Happy to return again soon! Reasonably priced delicious food.

i stopped in for lunch takeout. got pork fried rice and 2 Rangoon came with it it was made fast and very very tasty. portions are huge and single prices are reasonable on the budget. while I was there I read an article they had on the counter about this restaurant being in years for 2 decades! kudos for them! the restaurant is a very pretty space if you want to dine in. easy to park in the shopping area.. very pleased!

I got carry out. I ordered the yen yen chicken. I was pleasantly surprised at the portion. The box contained all white meat chicken, fried rice, and 2 crab rangoon. This is great if you are looking for fast, reasonably priced, quality chinese food!

When I worked in Old Mill, I would go here for lunch several times per month. I had not been for a couple of years since my office moved, but took my daughter for lunch during a Christmas shopping day. While the portion size was a bit smaller than I remembered, the taste was still top notch and the hot and sour soup is still the best I've had.

Dumplings could be better. Like the ones I get frozen from Costco, toss in some water for 8 minutes, tada! Those are better. But I can't make those at work, so enter Szechuan Express. It's ok, I enjoy the use of vegetables, not everything is the nasty covered in cornstarch and fried crap that I see everywhere else. I have yet to try the hot and sour soup. I don't enjoy getting fried rice. I was not given the option of non-fried rice last time. That grosses me out. For lunch no need to order an egg roll, one is coming with your meal. We ended up with a plethora of them one day. The beef lo mien had a surprising amount of fresh veggies. Not bad.

If food from China is what you crave, Szechuan Express is middle of the road, but Omaha is not exactly Hong Kong is it? The food here is identical to your average midwestern Chinese place, which is to say that it's better than P.F. Changs. I like the Sesame Chicken.
