Zero stars is in store for the spot, 1 for the waitress. Such a shame this place can't turn the corner. The atmosphere is tough & the decor is stuck in the 90's, on a coast nobody has seen. For beer week the manger isn't aware of the specials on the web meant specially for their location. Beer is 50:50 Good luck

Excellent selection of brews. They make some really unique brews. Only issue is ac was broken so it was a bit warm at the bar.

Wow the place looks great and location is prime. Now for the review; we sat on the patio on a not busy Saturday afternoon, while employees were everywhere no one checked on us at all leaving me to walk to the bar every time we wanted something. The beer was warm and the bull wings and chips we ordered literally never arrived. This place needs some management that will rule with an iron fist for it to have any chance of staying in business

Awful. The service is absolutely terrible. Tons of wait staff but no one doing anything. Table next to us actually left after drinks without paying because the sever never went back to their table after delivering drinks. We had two drinks were charged for 3 and had to request out tab twice. Great venue terrible follow through.

Really disappointing! It took forever to get our lunch order. We sat down at 1:15 and didn't get our entrees until 2:40. The food was subpar when it did arrive and one member of my party couldn't eat his food at all. The waitress offered drinks or dessert on her to make up for the slow service and was very nice. The bottom line: This place is overpriced, slow, and it was hard to eat the food.

This review isn't about the restaurant , because it was only a point of interest. I can tell you, that the place was not busy , only a handful of people@ 6:00 pm The owner was nice enough to explain his business and brewery, the cat got out of the bag.... We were headed to a renaissance dinner. Oh well, 2.50 for12oz and $6 for the pint of beer I'll half to go back and check it out again!

The food was fine, but like other reviews have mentioned, the service was terrible. This was particularly frustrating to me since the table was stocked with business cards that stated the restaurant's mission: "To glorify God through fellowship, sportsmanship and stewardship." I didn't feel like the service lives up to this goal at all. That said, I really enjoyed the potato bun on my burger, and the fries were pretty good. I just feel like they need to lower their prices in order to draw in more people and make up for the lackadaisical service.

My husband and I stopped in this evening for Bike Night. I could sum this place up as: great view, good beer, average service, and fair food. We sat out on the patio and it was absolutely gorgeous. Large umbrellas let you adjust to block the setting sun and the view of the river was nice. (Weather depending of course.) They have a good variety of beer and some interesting limited releases (the one i really wanted to try was sold out. Go figure.) I really enjoyed their Strawbeeri Blond Beer Cocktail and definitely recommend it if you both like beer and fruity cocktails as it was a nice mix of both. The service was adequate considering I only ever saw one waitress. She was friendly and as attentive as she could be. We were left waiting for things a couple of times but nothing ridiculous. The food though was disappointing. No one at my table had anything better than "It's alright" to say about what they had. I ordered the pretzels and "beer cheese" and while they weren't bad per se, that "beer cheese" is an insult to actual beer cheese and even cheese in general. On a nice day I'd definitely come back and enjoy a beer on the patio! I'd eat somewhere else before I come though.

Normally I would see a place with 2 stars and skip it. I'm so glad I didn't check Yelp before stopping here! I had lunch here with my mom. It was great! The food and drinks were perfect, as was the view from the patio. I had the lobster Cobb salad. It was very delicious--lots of crunchy bacon bits and blue cheese! We also tried the "fries" which were more like thick potato chips. They were fantastic! Our waitress was very sweet, prompt, and knowledgeable. I will definitely return!

While you can't do tours our anything there - the beer, atmosphere, location, and spot on barfood are DEFINITELY worth checking out. I was visiting a friend and we were walking around the lake and stumbled upon this treasure. The owner came out and talked to us on the patio for a good 45 minutes or so about their sustainability initiatives. They won't give you water unless you ask for it so it doesn't go to waste and I think he was talking about solar paneling. I don't quite remember because I was stuffing my face with fried stuff and really good beer. Check it out!

Service is horrible. Waited about 10 minutes to be seated and the place was empty. The young man seating people was watching tv. I got seated and the young lady that was "waiting" on me came and said she would be right with me then helped a table with 3 people that came in after me. She then took my order for just a beer at this time. It took 15 minutes to get a beer. She asked if I was ready and I said yes and she said she had to get her notepad. About 5 minutes later she comes back and takes my order for the special. I settled for this because this lunch was taking way too long. I then asked for another beer and she forgot. When I asked for the beer again she did get it and apologize and comped the beer. Service is where this place is lacking. The food is awesome, the beer is good as expected, and the atmosphere is something to experience. The management needs to fix the service ASAP or they will close for sure!!

Another good brewery in Omaha! My wife and I came to town during the 4th of July weekend and our first stop for a drink was the Trophy Room. Now, many of these reviews talk about the food . . . although we looked at the menu and many things sounded good, we just ordered a beer flight. So I can't comment and rate the food, but the beer was really good! We had never had any Storz beer, so we got the original lager as one of the samples and liked it well enough to buy a six pack. We also got a raspberry beer (I was leary at first) but it turned out to be quite good too! I'm not usually a fruity beer person, but it was really refreshing...kind of like a tea. It was not busy at all when we were there and our waitress was kind, so we didn't feel rushed at all. They're located right on the river overlooking the water. Nice view! Like I said, I can't say anything about the food because we didn't order any, but if you'd like a good selection of tasty brews you should stop by and have some here.

I really wanted to be the guy to give this place a great review and get people that read it to give them a try. Unfortunately I just can't justify it.....Right at lunch time there were only 8 other people in here. The host greeted us and informed us they were "short staffed and service would be slow on the patio". Our waitress then informed us there is now service on the patio.....Already two conflicting things we were told. Anyways we decided to sit outside on the back deck, the big deck where they have service....Our waitress was super nice but she was all over the place if you know what I mean.... The beer I ordered they were out of so I selected a different one. Not to my surprise when she went to get it, the original beer I ordered was in fact still available. I ordered the brisket bacon bleu cheese burger and my other party ordered the philly. I could literally see 10-15 employees inside including 2 bartender from where we were sitting so I have absolutely no idea how they were "short staffed" with twice as many employees as customers. It took roughly 30-45 minutes from when we walked in and ordered until we had everything on our table. By this time we had moved inside because of the weather. I LOVE the inside of this place. It is fantastic. Decor is awesome, the Storz logo and history is awesome ,they have a library-esque lounge in the corner which is super neat, and a full service bar. We got our food and dug in. Everything looked good, presentation was great, I'll give them that. My burger was just OK. For the amount of stuff on the burger and combination of flavors it was, well, kind of flavorless. The philly was rated as just "ok". Fries were good. Get your.....stuff together Storz. Somebody train the employees and be a manager, or hire somebody with management experience. The service and information given by the employees was conflicting and terrible because they were disorganized and had absolutely no idea what was going on. I would love to come back and try it again and just hope that they figured their stuff out.

I'm beginning to think that this particular location is cursed. It's really too bad because it's in a prime location and has the potential to cleanup. Yet, Storz like its predecessor seems to be plagued by inconsistency, terrible management, and poor service. I can't speak to the food since I often-times consult Yelp before trying something new particularly when there are so many options nearby. Due to the poor reviews, I have not sat down to eat at Storz. I have tried the beer and it is terrible. I am not sure how they get it on the shelves in local grocery stores other than name recognition alone. Note to retailers, just because Storz was a popular brand 50 years doesn't mean its good. In fact, every brewery that I've visted locally is better.

I really want to like this place so bad, because of their great location. Location, location, location is what they have going on here. The food is underwhelming. I tried the lobster rolls and they were not at all to my liking. Bland, shredded lobster, served on a very hard dried out bun. The philly cheese steak was edible, but not great. The house salad was fresh, but it's hard to f' up a salad. On a positive note the live band is great! Love the music and the view!!

Before I say anything further, I'd like to give props to the amazing staff who go above and beyond to do ANYTHING within their power to make diner experience pleasant. MOST POLITE servers, EVER. (In all my 54 years). Especially Jermaine. If I owned a business like this, I'd put him in charge of all the servers. How to improve this place: 1. Don't overcook the calamari. It was like lightly battered, tasty rubber. Serve a lemon wedge, rather than a tiny, thin slice meant for iced tea. The crab cake and slaw was WONDERFUL, however. *thumbs up* 2. Offer some light for the diners after dark. There was only lighting/bulbs which were attached to the building but none on the table or awning. Couldn't see the food. Just a mason jar with a votive candle would be enough and would work with the very rustic plywood tables. 3. Repair the rips in the awning and paint the place. Peeling paint and torn awning screams, "I don't care." 4. Do NOT have the jukebox blaring at the same time as the jazz track playing constantly in the background. The fighting music was enough to make me want to scream. In every other eatery, when a juke box is in use, the canned music automatically shuts off. In this case, Luther Vandross and Kenny G battle it out in a dimly lit riverfront environment. Film at 11. 5. Slight sewer drain odor in the restaurant. (We didn't eat inside so no big deal except it is kind of off-putting to smell such an odor in a place where you've just consumed food). I probably won't eat here again, although if I knew that the wonderful staff who struggled so hard to make our stay pleasant worked somewhere else, I would gladly migrate there. Again, some of the most stellar service, ever. Hands down. I would have tipped more but the bill was rather high for a rustic environ such as this.

The location in Omaha should be prime, but the place was well below par. Went there for the food, which was ok. Can't comment on the beer because we didn't try it. 1. No A/C? We tried to escape the tropical heat by sitting inside, but they informed us that the A/C has been out all summer and won't be fixed until the end of August. "But there's a good breeze on the patio." Nice try. 2. All of the servers acted like it was the first day on the job. No "crackers" for the king crab legs, empty water and other drinks without refills, and sweaty servers (no a/c) for starters. Overall, a below average experience for a good location. If I was an employee at Storz, I would look for another job. The management DOES NOT take care of you.

Stopped in before the UNO/North Dakota hockey game and had a seat at the bar since there was nobody seating and I was unsure what else was available. The cajun shrimp appetizer was good though pricey for the size. Now, the main issue: the service was slow even though I was the only one at the bar and the staff in general seemed very disorganized. Beers piled up on the counter and the staff wasn't sure who had which tables. The "highlight" of the night, though, was a poor man who brought back a beer and told the bartender that his wife thought it tasted strange. The bartender took the beer, took a drink and said "nope, that's how it is supposed to taste" and handed the drink back. Now,, eventually the bartender took the drink back and got the man another beer but the uncomfortable pause and looks during the exchange was well.... I will give this place another try because the location is great and there is some good looking food on the menu but the expectation won't be that great.

This was my first visit to Storz, which made me nervous considering the unfavorable reviews I have read online. I only visited the bar, so I cannot comment on the dining room. It is very rustic in decoration, and then have comfy couches in front of a fireplace to relax. My only criticism is that I thought the drinks and appetizers were a tad overpriced. Our server Mia was very friendly and helpful. She was also very knows gravel about the beer menu. I went against the grain and ordered the house moscato, which was sweet and refreshing. We ordered appetizers, which were tasty for typical appetizers: crab artichoke dip, ceviche, and bruschetta, which came with goat cheese. The tortilla chips tasted homemade. At the end of our visit, we went upstairs to visit the beer museum. An added bonus. If the owner is reading this, I would like to suggest two things: Offer an incentive for Creighton fans, such as discounted drinks when they show their ticket. Expand the days and hours of Happy Hour

Went here for a few drinks out in the patio on a Sunday afternoon. Waited for a hostess to seat us for over 5 min. Place was empty! Party of 7 in front left because they got tired of waiting for someone to seat them. Ended up seating ourselves. No bartender outside and had to go in to order. Too bad. Such a great location on the river.

Great location, right on the river with a great patio. Unfortunately, the beer wasn't really as good as the location deserved. However, the waitstaff was uniformly wonderful. Altogether, we had a nice time despite not-so-great beer.

So, I have to say, I agree with many of the reviews posted by other Yelpers. The food was decent, but a little over priced for my palette... We arrived at 1:45 - clearly after whatever lunch-rush one might expect. The place was bare. When we walked in and there was no host/hostess in sight, warning bells should have begun to ring... After about five minutes or so - my lunch date had time to go to the restroom and return before we saw anyone - a server appeared and acknowledged us. (There were two other parties who arrived after us.). About five minutes after that, we were finally seated. It took another 15 minutes before our server even acknowledged our presence. Another five minutes after that two other servers came over with water. So, at about 2:05 our server takes our orders. Since we planned to have a late lunch and were made to wait even longer, we were famished. We don't usually order appetizers, but we decided on ordering the crab and artichoke dip. I ordered the peanut butter and egg burger. I thought, "Why not? Never had PB on a burger, and I've heard it was good. Plus, the burger came with bacon." What's not good and has bacon as an ingredient, right? My husband ordered the crab cake sandwich... It's a good thing we weren't in a rush... Our food didn't come out until about 2:50. Our appetizer never made it to us. And when our food did finally make it to our table, there wasn't any bacon in sight. Imagine my disappointment... To add insult to injury, before we were even a quarter of the way through our meal, our server brought our ticket to us thereby putting the kibosh on any hope of ordering a dessert - provided it was offered... The little things that wouldn't have seemed so bad if not for everything else: not having a few beers on tap - despite providing us with drink menus that do not indicate they've run out (this is a HUGE pet peeve of mine), and giving us a nearly empty non-name brand ketchup bottle. I mean, really. Buy the name brand bottle and fill it with generic for all I care... I'd never know you scrimped and saved this way if you had a name brand bottle... Just makes me wonder where else you've cut corners... All in all, if not for the poor service, this could have been at least a three star review. Unfortunately, speed of service in conjunction with watching the wait staff work (and an empty stomach) does not help this establishment gain any votes of confidence that, should I be so brave to give it a second chance, I would anticipate having a completely different experience...

Oh boy this place is a total mess. First off they don't have A/C! We asked one of the employees how long it had been out and she said since they opened. That's ridiculous. The service is pretty terrible. There is a bunch of people working there and walking around but no one seems to really do anything. We sat and waited for a server to approach us and ended up having to just tell an employee walking by to get us drinks. The food was actually really good but the service just ruins the entire experience. Our entire party of people we went with all work together at a successful local restaurant so we were just flabbergasted by the incompetence. Where are the managers? The staff needs to be completely re-trained. This place will be closed very soon I guarantee it.

This review comes from a former employee. DO NOT EAT HERE. I have never seen such a disorganized place. The food is mediocre at best. I couldn't believe the number of times I had to have a manager come over to talk to a customer about a meal they didn't like. I once had a customer order a salad without tomatoes because they were allergic. When I went to deliver the food, there were tomatoes on it. The chef tried to pick them off and send me on my way. You cannot do that if a person has an allergy! The managers are incompetent. So incompetent that the little time I did work for the company, there was almost a complete wait staff turn over. No one wants to stay and work for this place. It's a disorganized mess. The staff they typically hire has no server experience, and then they understaff them, leading to poor customer service... need any further proof of this? Read the other reviews.. The owner is an idiot. Go read the back of their business card for an idea. It is now the 17th of February and I still have not received my W2. When I called to ask about it I mentioned that the W2 needed to be sent out by the 31st of... and before I could finish, the manager cut me off to tell me he knew when they needed to be sent. He said it was in the mail. I asked when it was sent and he didn't know. I asked to speak to someone who did know, he was unable to direct me to anyone. I asked for the owner, Tom, and was told he is out until Friday and I would have to wait to speak to him. Tom had no email or cell that I could call. The manager then told me it was Fat Tuesday and he had to go set up as they were busy and didn't have time for this. I will be reporting them to the IRS. It's really too bad they treat their employees this way. If you need a reason other than the sub quality food or the typically unprepared staff, please don't go there for the way they treat their employees and former employees. I don't know how this place is still open.

This comes from a former employee. They have fruit flys and they didn't change out there old bottles they just keep using them. There soda is never hooked up right so it's a guess of what you'll get. They never have the beer on tap. Lol They will mess up your order all the time. They will steal the pinpoints. Beware of that. If you want crappy service come to STORZ. PEOPLE . LOVE .THAT. They should spend there money on people that know how to run a restaurant. It would be a great place. It's just the front of the house. What a joke.

We were here on a Saturday evening around 6p. We got seated by the host immediately as the restaurant was only a third full. We waited patiently for 20 minutes before a server even spoke to us. She indicated she would be right back. We waited a solid five minutes more and nothing. Got up to speak with the hostess and there wasn't even one there... So we just left.

Great cheddar burger! Fries were hot- that is how I rate good restaurants. Our waiter Kendrick was awesome and the beer was very tasty too. The view from the patio was pretty and the music was great!

I was looking forward to trying this place for the first time tonight. Server was horrible. Brought out wrong drinks, wrong meals, and the food was bland at best anyway The price that they charged me was higher than on the menu. I called them out on this and they did give me a gift card which doesn't make me feel any better because I do not want to go back. One star is still too generous, in my opinion. Don't spend your money at that place.

  • Neal S.

Simply the worst beer I've had in a couple years. They brew their own and only sell that crap so you can't fall back on any other type of well known brand. The bartender took an immediate attitude when we asked for a pitcher of Budweiser "you know we're Storz so we only sell our own beer" - talking to us like we were idiots. I am open to trying new beers from brew pubs but his attitude shut me down so I was not even the least bit curious to inquire further about their beers. We were served a variety of beer that he called "Stella on steroids". It was flat and undrinkable. We were not asked how the beer tasted or really even acknowledged again until it came time to pay the bill. This place is a complete waste of prime riverfront property. I wish somebody with a vision would buy this place and turn it into something great. I will not be returning here ever and I encourage others to avoid it as well. We didn't order food so I can't speak to that and we only sat at the outside bar so I don't know how the service is inside. All I know is we had a prick bartender that served us crappy beer.

I wish we would have read the reviews before eating here, but it seems like there is a pattern that unfortunately was not broken when we visited. Poor service and nothing spectacular about their food. We ordered their pizza which was definitely overpriced for what you got. It took more than 15 minutes to get our drinks when we first arrived. I got my own refill on water as no one was around to check back in. The waitress stood over our shoulders as we were signing the receipt and would not leave us in privacy to provide a tip. We were quite distraught and spoke with a manager. He was apologetic, friendly, and said "let me make it right," but offered no consolation or incentive to come back.

  • Steve R.

Every time I visit here, my review is basically "what a waste of this prime riverfront location!" I returned today upon learning that pint beers were just $2 for their 4-6pm happy hour. Such a generous offer should be stated on a table tent, but there is none. The Pale Ale was decent, though my friend's Triumph ranked no higher than passable. The menu listed a number of interesting seasonal beers but I was told "we're out" for three of those. Seriously, get your act together and update the printed menu or use a chalk board (Upstream style) to list those still available. The hostess seating us recommended pizza as it's half-price during happy hour. The chicken barbeque pizza was passable, but lacked "zing" that a final douse of BBQ sauce might have afforded. The final tab was tallied incorrectly two times... the bartender apparently unaware of the pizza special. The only thrill of the visit -- all the emergency vehicles streaming in nearby for an apparent jumper from the Kerrey bridge.

Not handicap friendly!! The hostesses were confused and disorganized. We had to go around the building to a lift to get to the top floor. The view of the Bridge of Lights was nice. Our bartender may have been on her first day. She didn't even pretend to count the coin portion of my change, it was omitted entirely. They did have two Malbecs to choose from, which is nice.

I had been here three or four times and enjoyed it, so in spite of many negative reviews here on yelp, I picked this place for my retirement luncheon. Great decision! My only criticism would be that for a group of 20 of us, only one server was provided. That said, she did an outstanding job, and talking to everyone the following Monday, I could find no one unhappy with the service. Drinks were a little slow at coming initially, but once everyone had their first drink in hand, the succeeding drinks flowed smoothly. The food was served much more quickly than anyone expected for such a large group, and everyone got their food at about the same time, which is rare in even the best restaurants. With 20 different people, all consuming different things and departing at different times, I was concerned that putting everything on one bill would be giant goat-rope. I therefore talked to the managers on duty, asking if it would be too much trouble to give us separate checks. I explained that I was the retiree and no doubt would get my lunch paid for, but that I was just worried about everyone else. The managers were super-friendly and agreed immediately and with wide smiles. Later, they brought out two bottles of sparkling wine and the most delicious slice of chocolate cake I've ever had -- all on the house. The server, Lidia (or perhaps Lydia) was running back and forth for over two hours, and she miraculously kept us all very happy. There were no mistakes on any of the checks (that in itself is a small miracle). Everyone enjoyed the food and especially the beer, and after most had left, some of us moved outside onto the deck for a few more drinks and to enjoy the fresh air and view of the river. At the end of the afternoon I was happy to say that my choice of the Trophy Room for my retirement luncheon was one of my best decisions ever!

Back in January my experience at the Storz Trophy Room was less than stellar. Today I took a chance and revisited Storz and was very surprised at the turn around. I had a double barrel stout with a hint of Kaffee Liqueur that was very smooth. Next came an order of house made potato chips that came with a Parmesan and Triumph beer sauce and was great. Also ordered the garlic boneless wings that were crisp and hot. The changes made he are numerous and I would tell anyone who was disappointed with Storz to go and give it a try again. Well done.

Can't go back. I have a palate to consider. due to a private event at my normal Wednesday hangout I was coerced to go give Storz a try. when the location housed Rick's Cafe it was just ok, but at least had live music. The times have changed. I had a Pinpoint redemption to use so I was good with that. Where to start my review? Food. Location. Service? hmm. Upon arrival I was predisposed that the beer offerings were going to be subpar to my tastes. I had them previously at Beerfest and some other gatherings. Once I got inside I had to wait for some people to get the heck out of the way. They were stopped by the Hostess and blocked my path to the bar. They were not packed, but why the need to hold them up while they found a table? I finally brush past them and pull up at the bar. there was maybe 3 other people there so I figured I would be good to go. Nope. A solid 5 minutes after I took notice of the time I sat. Strike 1 (Big 10 baseball was in town) I ordered a Pale ale as that appeared to e something that I would enjoy and OMG. It was less hoppy than PBR. At least they had more than 1 beer that they made onsite (looks at Borgatas). Boring, bland beer. Anyways let's talk about food. I got the artichoke dip. I love it when it does not have spinach and is served with something soft and chewy. This version had no spinach which was good, but is served with these crunchy burnt crackers that have sesame seeds on them. absolutely the wrong pairing. the dish it comes in is also wrong due to the portion size. It looks only half full. A smaller souffle dish would be best. Strike 2. I know you want to hear about service, but I really can't say much about what I didn't experience. My bartender didn't know I was there and left me sitting for at least 10 minutes with an empty glass. the Hostess had no idea where to sit people. I overheard many conversations that a customer should not hear and I am done. Tried it. Glad Omaha has them back. Strike 3, I'm out TL;DR: Beer is weak. Service nonexistent. Food not done well

There aren't a lot of good things going on here. I shared some appetizers and they were all pretty bad. The calamari was tasteless, cold and salty. The bruschetta wasn't bad but the tomato mixture was way too oily. This was the first time in my life when the waiter asked me what was on a dish. The service was horrible. I want to like this place because the interior is so cool and the outside seating is amazing. Please help!!

I went to meet a friend on a Wednesday evening at 5:00. It was a beautiful day out...perfect for sitting outside. I arrived before my friend and headed to the patio bar area. They had the sides of the bar up as if it was open, but no alcohol was set up. There were puddles of fresh paint on the deck I had to step over, as well as other tools and debris. The place needs some well deserved renovations and repairs, but c'mon..what have you been doing the last several beautiful weeks..why now on a Wednesday at 5:00? Went ahead and picked a table and sat patiently waiting for a drink. After about 10 minutes I decided to go inside and order myself. I asked if there was service on the patio, and the bartender seemed confused with this question, but said he'd "try to keep an eye on you". My guest arrived and it wasn't too long before a waiter from the deck below saw us and took my friends drink order and also said "I'll try to keep an eye on you". Hmmm. Well long story short it was an odd experience. Similar to Rick's service, everyone seemed confused. When we received our appetizers we had no plates, napkins or utensils. Upon asking the waiter that delivered the food for them, he too seemed confused but said he would look for some. Needless to say, 10 minutes later I'm heading inside to grab these. Ran into a waitress who said "follow me" and she handed off 2 beers to another waitress to deliver to a different table. The waitress asked which beer was which, so the waitress that handed them off took them back and placed her nose 1/8" over each beer and sniffed several times. Eeeek...glad that wasn't my beer. I followed her out to patio and she stopped at the bar and began reaching for a stack of mismatched plates that had been sitting there while painting and repairs were going on. I told her I considered grabbing those but asked her if they were clean. She thought better and said she didn't know so she'd go inside to get them. (Yes...please do!) Some new patrons came and sat in our same area. They had the same experience...in fact we all laughed together about how none of us received utensils, plates or napkins. They too had to go after their own after waiting probably longer than we did. In fact in sharing this experience with my sister, she told me that she had the exact same experience the prior week when she stopped there for appetizers with her husband. The appetizers weren't bad, and perhaps that's what made us decide we would make dinner reservations for the following Friday. Now, I had read about the ShakesBEER they were hosting, but upon calling for reservations I was told that it was all happening below on the Lewis & Clark landing, so I went ahead with the reservations stressing we wanted to be seated on the deck. Upon arriving at Storz on Friday, we see their deck roped off and crowded with folks for the ShakesBEER. What?!? I was told it was below on the landing. More bad information. Went inside to inquire, and was told we could go to the other side of the restaurant and sit on the deck there (kind of in the back with a small view of the river), but because they were so busy with ShakesBEER, we would have to order ourselves at the bar, and pick up our food at the bar. (WTH!) Because we had some friends on the river we thought we'd just let it go and sit outside and deal with it. I asked many employees if the boat docks were safe and dredged out in the marina next to their restaurant, as I had friends in a boat wanting to come in and eat. (Any river boater knows this marina is sometimes not dredged, therefore dangerous to pull in) Not surprising, but no employees could answer. I tracked down the owner and asked him, and at first he said yes it is fine. When I pushed it and asked if it was dredged out and safe, he said he honestly didn't know and couldn't guarantee anything. Again...WTH? I asked if he had any boaters to his restaurant yet, and he said he had no idea. Hmmm...thought the river access was a selling point of the restaurant. My friends hesitantly decided to give the marina a try anyway...so for all of you river rats out there...we had no problem with the marina or water levels within. We did order our dinner at the bar, but was lucky enough to put my order in with a very nice waitress who kindly offered to bring our food out for us. Kudos to her. The food was pretty good...we just had a sandwich and some nachos. I will give credit to Storz for sending a manager out onto the deck to apologize to all of the tables that had to order and pick up their own food. She stressed that isn't the norm for them; however with the ShakesBEER they were completely under staffed. (I'm just unsure how a seasoned restaurant owner would make such a mistake.) Sorry this has been a long review but I am just so disappointed that they seem to have the same service issues at Rick's, and an overall real lack of information. I'm hoping they get their act together soon.

What a complete disaster! Have you heard of a dive bar? How about dive brewery? That pretty much sums up the Storz Trophy Room. You would think they would have had someone with experience to set up their restaurant but this seems like a redo of the failed Jobbers Canyon Brewery. Nice historical sentiment but........... Seriously. If you have your business open on Sunday, you would expect customers for lunch. Nope. None. No host or bartender either. Just a guy sitting in a stool drinking beer. I waited. I meandered about. I looked at the place but no employee could be found. Gosh, bad enough the parking area is not clearly marked and it is a bit hard to find the right road to the place if you did not know where it was in the first place. The beer may survive but I give this restaurant 6 months tops. The only thing which could hold it in place is big events bringing tourists, but judging by the empty parking lot and the one "customer", I think this place is a lost cause. Food? I have no idea! Beers? Have no idea but I could have walked off with some of the display items and they would have never known. Word to all of you in the business. If your service and eyes are not on the consumers walking through your doors, you may as well shut your doors for good.

Food: Started out with the prime rib nachos, which might have been good if the lettuce had been shredded . It looked like bag lettuce had been dumped on top, then covered in cheese. But that's all there was. We asked for some salsa to go with the nachos, and were upcharged! I had the chicken sandwich with roasted zucchini, the chicken was overlooked, and the sandwich was served with no sauce of any kind...just chicken, cheese, and some bacon on bread. The zucchini was excellent though. My husband had the house specialty, thanksgiving turkey sandwich. It really should have been called the thanksgiving leftovers sandwich because both the stuffing and turkey were so dry you couldn't swallow them. The cranberry sauce was scarce and blah....not enough to save the leftovers. The side of fries was good. The beer was just ok. Service: Sadly, the waiter was excellent. I say sadly because we really wanted to love the food, and he was so proud of the place...but it just didn't happen for us, or the table next to us, who got their entire meal comped for some bad steak. The manager comped our turkey leftovers, and was also very nice about it. Value: we would not go back and pay $12 each again for a couple of dry sandwiches. Nor would we pay $14 for some nachos and salsa. Might go back for a beer and the view during the summer, but they really need to get the kitchen in order before we dine again.

Oktoberfest 2014. Actually it was "Storz's me too fest 2014." Not many German beers offered. This place is the poster child for Omafail, so I won't even bother. Two positives on the food offering. Knockwurst with whole mustard and the kraut. Unsure if it's offered on the everyday menu though. Please apply more effort in 2015. Thank you.

Disappointing!!! It was like going to a restaurant that was about to close its doors for good which this one should. It was beautiful on Saturday so went with friends to sit outside and catch a few college games and enjoy a beer. Flat screens were gone. There was a minimal crowd sitting on beat up old bar chairs and tables from the old Ricks. The deck was faded and splintered in areas. Diners along the river either sat at plywood tables or long plastic tables with white tops. There were no placemats or paper placemats!? Bartenders had to go inside to get beer since they did not have the taps running outside which led to long wait times. They did the same for cocktails. The bar is beat-up, old and definitely not renovated! This was a missed opportunity. They could have great crowds to watch the NE game, college games and NFL. The inside basically looks like Ricks since they kept most of the decor including the rattan chairs and tables in the bar. This place is far from renovated and was a cheap fix to get a restaurant going. They didn't even paint the entire building and left the old white in the back where they think people can't see!? Did they run out of paint? Geez! It is clear the owners do not care and went on the cheap to open this place. Ironically, I just found an old WOWT article stating that it was going to be "quality, quality, quality." It is far from quality and embarrassing for Omaha that this is the only restaurant by the river. There should have been more due diligence to turn the lease over to Storz. They must have given quite a story to get the lease. The best thing the owners can do to help the riverfront and Omaha is close and let restaurant people like Charleston's owners or the like to takeover so next summer can be enjoyed again on the riverfront.

After a pleasant stroll along the river walk we stoped in for lunch and a brew. The location of this place is amazing, situated on the bank of the river with a beautiful view. The menu offers something for everyone, even offering a brunch menu on Sunday. We ordered a pizza and the Wood Duck Wheat beer, a very tastey lunch combo. We had an opportunity to meet the manager, Jerran who was delightful, attentive and very professional. I will make this a regular stop whenever in Omaha and look forward to seeing the Storz brand continue to expand!

This place is dirty. The food was better in the summer now was completely awful. The owner is completely delusional he welcomed me to a hundred fifty year old brewery which is clearly not this place. There is no brewery here !!!!! Bad concept and horrible beer!!

Is it possible to give zero stars? First time there sat outside and waited half an hour for someone to take our order, then another 20 mins for our drinks. We mentioned something to the manager and he gave out a $20 coupon for next visit. Tried it again a year later hoping it would be better, but terribly disappointed again. This time they had a band though and they were surprisingly good, but loud (as to be expected). Waited for what seemed like forever for our drinks. Then they wouldn't accept the coupon because the bill wasn't quite to $20. We asked that they buy someone else a drink but they wouldn't do it, they refused it and made us pay cash. We paid cash, then waited 45 minutes for $4 in change. What!? So why did we only have one drink each? The beer is horrible. The one beer they rave about is always out... So, I keep seeing reviews on here saying they have a "Great selection" but let me tell you what the bartender told me when I tried to order a seasonal beer (I LOVE craft beers and local breweries, I'll try anything!). He told me- "Oh I wouldn't order that, we've literally been dumping other beers in it." Seriously? So gross. This place will never have my business ever again, and I am burning the gift card we can't use so someone else isn't disappointed.

Against most reviews , I loved this place. I've had their portobello chicken and their crab Alfredo and I was more than amazed. Although the prices are high, the atmosphere, service, and taste make you forget all about it. This is the perfect place to take someone before a concert at the Centrylink center,or before an amazing night out.

This restaurant is seemingly bipolar - the reviews swing so wildly. I had low expectations, being affiliated with the brewery I was expecting Bud Light food at a Microbrew price. I was pleasantly surprised by the preparation, ingredients, presentation, beer, and service. It was fairly empty the night we went but the servers were not using that as an excuse to hang out at the server station. They were on the floor taking abundant care of their guests but it was friendly and low pressure - it didn't feel like they were hovering. They knew their stuff and were genuine. Our server was friendly, and you even get to try any of the beers for free which is a great perk/marketing tool! There were a few that tasted worthwhile, a couple creative blends (red wine, coffee), but I was really pleased with the dark hearty brew I settled on. Nothing really to complain about except their choice to skimp on the pine wood that is hung around the room which has really nothing to do with the experience, just seems out of place. Something more hunting lodge would have been appropriate. The food was delicious - just what you'd expect for the price. We plan on going back with the kids when the weather is nicer out and we can enjoy the patio and water view.

Beer was decent and food was pretty good. Management and bartenders were very helpful and accommodating. Three stars due to waitstaff and menu variety. Overall a decent place with a cool atmosphere.

I have mixed emotions on how to write this review. Please don't let my 3-star rating discourage you from trying Storz. I've been a few times, and I definitely will go back. Here is why... BEER-decent amount of choices, but inconsistent quality. Nothing really above average. Like the "beer flight" option since I don't always know what I want. FOOD-Everything I've tried has been good, especially the appetizers (crab dip, brisket nachos). SERVICE-This is where it gets difficult. Bartenders were both fantastic, attentive, and knowledgable (one guy and one girl outside). Server on the patio was also amazing and accommodating. He was clearly overwhelmed but still managed to over-deliver on service. The rest of the experience left lots to be desired. For example, the girl who brought our apps failed to bring plates and silverware. When we asked for them, she literally dropped the plates on the table with a scowl on her face, as if it were a total inconvenience. Overall service was also veeerrry slow. Not the server's fault. I'm guessing they were understaffed and completely disorganized, or maybe they hired inexperience help and management. I wish I could blame it on growing pains of a new restaurant, but they should have been long past that by now. LOCATION/ATMOSPHERE-Awesome location, right on the river. Huge patio with a great view from all sides, possibly my favorite in Omaha. Needs some renovations though, pretty run down and appears unfinished. Ample parking, definite plus. Overall, Storz, has a lot of potential, but it isn't being realized. I hope the owner(s)? figure it out soon....You have a unique and extraordinary opportunity, don't let it go to waste!

We stopped by Storz before a concert at the Century Link Center. We weren't pleased to find out that only the buffet was open - BUT the food was very good! The atmosphere was excellent, and our waitress was phenomenal - thanks Jessica! I am with the other reviewers who think Management could be better and they definitely need to spruce up the place. It has the potential to be packed every night with a great location on the river, near the old market, and with free parking for concerts!

They have so far to go. Poor service. Confused, overworked staff. The late dinner menu makes no sense for a full service place unless they are going for the beer aspect alone, in which case they might as well switch to finger food and bread and shut the kitchen down.

We live in the neighborhood and like to try restaurants so we can tell friends when they ask us. We tried this tonight for the first time. There is a new beer and pub food feel to the place. They have a small but well chosen wine list at reasonable prices. I ordered fish and chip. The small included salad was fresh with iceberg lettuce (not my favorite) and came with nice chopped red pepper, green onion, shredded cheese and a light vinaigrette. A crunchy sliced baguette was delivered in a paper bag. All well done. The fish and chips were good. My husband did not like his grouper as it was underdone and not very flavorful. He made an understated complaint to the server and we were visited by the manager who listened patiently and agreeably to his opinion. We hope it succeeds.

This place is breaking my heart. I really want them to do well but have yet to experience anything close to greatness. Let's start with what I love- the location. It is a beautiful space right on the river with a patio and outdoor bar. It's the kind of place that makes you forget you're in Omaha. It's a little off the beaten path but with the right business model it could do well as a "getaway." Yesterday after work some friends and I ventured there for happy hour only to find they no longer have a happy hour. Not sure I actually believe this, but don't worry, I'll get there. We were welcomed in their typical way- a handful of people standing around but no one who really takes the effort to get you settled. When our waitress finally makes her way over she is neither friendly, helpful or knowledgeable. (This I why I question of they actually Do have a HH.) Food was fine but their new menu is much pricier. Now that colder weather is upon us I will hunker back into my old usual haunts and hope that when summer returns they have transformed into the restaurant I want them to be.

My wife and I stopped by after the home show tonight. We started with the warm potato chips and blue cheese dip. This was amazing. We could have just eaten this all night. Then on to dinner. I had the ribeye and my wife had the filet. Both were excellent and she raved about her loaded mashed potatoes. I had the fries but they weren't like any other fries. Very tasty. The waiter was engaging and offered my wife excellent advice on a wine she had never had before. We are already making plans to bring out of town guests here soon.

Came in on a Saturday night and sat on the patio with awesome river views! Friendly waiting came by after a whole to take order, but then realized we had not yet received our menus. He was very friendly, but it looked like he was the only server on the patio. Eventually received our food and had to chase after the person who delivered our food to hopefully get utensils and napkins and ketchup. There were three of us at the table and she returned with only two sets of silverware and no napkins and then gave us an attitude when we asked for the remaining silverware and some napkins. The table we sat next to remained with dirty dishes the whole time we were eating, even after people sat at the other end of the dirty table and had there order taken! It seems like thy definitely need to figure out how to be more efficient, especially with the training of the employees. Our waiter was good, just really busy. Hope they figure it out before they lose too many customers.

So I've been to Storz three times now and I can't find any redeeming aspects. Bad service, out of many beers, and Creme Brûlée takes 45 min. So disappointed. CWS in town and no outside TVs. I dont understand why they wouldn't be ready for that big event. So sad someone didn't go in there that can run a business. Frustrating.

The beer is good, and I had the lobster rolls which were quite tasty. The calamari appetizer was pretty spot on as well. I am honestly not a picky person when it comes to a lot of things, but the service here stood out for sucking, which is why the two-star rating. We ordered drinks, and then appetizers when the waitress came back, and the appetizers actually came out before the beers. One member of our group had the misfortune of asking for a sampler, and the sample was the only beer she received all night in spite of mentioning it to the waitress multiple times. Long waits between visits from the waitress made it not even worth trying to get more drinks. The waitress mentioned that we were a larger group than she was used to dealing with... we had five people in total. God help you if you decide to stop in here with a party bus or even a gigantic group of, say, six or seven people. Also, the guys who brought the food out had no idea what went where, and even what many of the menu items are. The lobster club is not a "shrimp burger"... "Who had the shrimp burger?", the kid asked. The location is great though, right on the river, so I'd say just bring a flask and enjoy the tasty Storz beers when you can get them.

I wish I could leave a positive review, as the food and drinks at Storz are great. Storz is lacking reasonable customer service. At first, my husband and I assumed that this was a growing pain; using that as an excuse for poor service. However, My husband and I have been to Storz for approximately ten visits, so we have some experience to go from now. Whether we sit at the inside bar, inside dining area, or outside, we find ourselves having to wait a very long time for menus, water, someone to take our order, drinks and primarily for our tabs. We were there this past Sunday outside and had to ask twice for our check. We literally had to get out of our seat and find our waiter joking with colleagues to ask for our check.. Twice. That isn't acceptable. Overall the staff is very friendly. I just don't think that the waitstaff understands what their job requirements are. I think some serious training needs to be implemented.

I want to like Storz as it has a great atmosphere. However, the staff is overworked and thus wait times are long. Witnessed several tables wait nearly 20 minutes to be greeted by a server only to wait another hour for food to arrive after ordering. Beer is great so hoping this restaurant can pull it together.

The one and only good thing about this place is the view. Service is absolutely horrible, food (from their very limited paper menu) is mediocre, beer is less than good - what they have available. It's not worth you time or money. Have tried it three times with the hopes that it would improve, trust me, it has not.

We experienced very slow service during the lunch hour. Restaurant was not even half full. Appetizers were ok, soup was cold, we sent it back, fish had way too much breading as did the chicken and it was under cooked and cool to the touch.

Was here on Sunday afternoon, June 22nd with my wife. Our visit was an unmitigated disaster. Went into the bar area and sat at a pub table there. Despite the fact that there were two people working behind the bar and, by our count, 7 servers standing at the bar station, no one even acknowledged our presence or even seemed to know that we were there. And, there was next to nobody else in the bar. 3 individuals were actually sitting at the bar and two other tables besides ours were occupied. My wife finally went up and complained and finally someone deigned to come to our table. From that point, almost anything that could have gone wrong did. If I detailed everything that happened this review would be ridiculously bigger than it already is. It was crystal clear that the gal serving us had received almost no training whatsoever. She was utterly clueless (but very pleasant). Suffice to say that the service in this place is appalling. With the prices they charge for almost everything in this establishment, the service should be exemplary. We had a drink (they got these wrong, even) and the crab dip & chip appetizer, which was, in a word, awful. My wife is a chef and, as near as she could tell, this concoction was little more than cream cheese, perhaps a little sour cream, some paprika and other spices, and canned crab--and very little of that. It was totally devoid of any seafood or crab flavor whatsoever. If you asked me what I was eating, and I didn't know what it was, the words "crab dip" would never have come out of my mouth. We immediately nixed any thoughts of actually eating there, got our tab and got the heck out of there. Of note is that our visit was during the College World Series (being played literally a few hundred yards away), and you would think that would be something that would have the establishment at the top of their game. You would never even have know it was going on. For a beautiful Sunday afternoon, considering the CWS was going on, there wasn't hardly anybody in the restaurant, either. Plus, even though they have nice outdoor places to sit and eat and drink, they were off limits. Apparently, they don't open them until after 4 o'clock. Further, I have been here on two other occasions prior to UNO hockey games and had experiences not too different from this one This business is going to fail if these issues aren't substantively addressed--soon. No restaurant/bar/brewery with issues like I saw has any future. I won't be stepping foot in there again unless I start seeing reviews that Storz has had some sort of epiphany. FYI, this place is operated by the same people that operate Charlie's on the Lake here in Omaha. I am not a big fan of that restaurant, either, but this place is far worse than Charlie's is.

My wife and I went to Storz a few weeks ago and were underwhelmed. As a home brewer, I was excited to try some locally brewed beers only to find that nothing was actually brewed on-site. In later conversations with some other beer nerds I found that they actually contract brew with at least one other brewery in the area. The beers themselves tasted nothing like the styles they were supposed to be. My amber ale tasted more like a barely wine and my wife's IPA had hardly any hop flavor at all. Our serve also wasn't much help as she "isn't much of a beer drinker" and hadn't had but two of the beers on the menu. The food was average. My wife's burger was undercooked and the fries were soggy. My sandwich had good flavor, but was served cold when it was supposed to be hot and as accompanied with the wrong side item. As others have commented, the service was disjointed and spotty. It almost seemed like they were surprised to have us come in for a late lunch on a Sunday, and it took forever for items like drinks, silverware and entrees to be brought out - despite the fact that there were only four or five other tables occupied in the entire restaurant. In short, I won't be going back voluntarily. If we have some friends that are willing to give it a shot we might join them for an appetizer or drink, but the entire experience was nowhere near worth the time it took or the money it cost.

I wish this place was up to caliber with some of the other local brewery/tap houses but it feels more like a business fueled by investors without any passion running the day to day operations. The location is worth 2 stars alone and sitting out on the patio looking over the river drinking a Storz session beer can't be beat. However, each time I have went I ordered food and that's where we had some issues. The venue is so large that the waiters keep disappearing for long periods, its likely not their fault, but it's frustrating. All the food we had was ok, nothing great, nothing terrible. The first time we went we noticed the menu said happy hour from 8-10...50% off pizza and beer. We came back the next week to take advantage but upon getting the bill we learned that it no longer applied to beer but the menus haven't been updated. We didn't complain but it just shows the lack of 'ownership' in the day to day here.

I feel like I'm on a reality TV show every time I come here. I stopped in for a happy hour last week around 4pm with a small group of coworkers. Our waitress was pleasant, but did not now how to do her job. 30 minutes into our outing, one coworker had to leave to pick up her child. She asked our waitress if she could pay for her one drink, but that everyone was staying behind to drink more. The waitress came back with a receipt for my coworker to sign, but she had already run the card with ALL of our drinks on it. My coworker restated she just wanted her check alone, and on top of it, she had overcharged two of us for a glass of wine ($11 instead of $7.50). Our waitress ran inside to talk to her manager, and came out ten minutes later with apologies. Her excuse? She accidentally charged us more for the wine because she didn't realize you had to select which wine you wanted when she was entering into the system. Like, seriously? And get this... her manager told her to tell us that unfortunately, he couldn't refund the drinks, but he would give us a $20 gift card to come back. Okay, #1... SHAME ON YOU manager, for not coming out and handling this yourself. Secondly, is this really happening? We order the right drinks, we get charged for the wrong ones, and you can't refund it? We didn't ask for them to be free, but we wanted to pay for the ones we ordered. It was a nightmare. How are two people going to split a gift card? Answer -- they won't. After we finally just said "whatever" to that problem, another coworker and I ordered bruschetta. Twenty minutes later, our waitress comes out with chips. We remind her we ordered bruschetta, and she says "oh that's right! I just grabbed the wrong order, hold on." Then she admits she didn't actually put our order in. She tells us "Don't worry, I am going to pay for the chips out of my own pocket." Like, did she think we'd actually pay twice for something we didn't order... again!? I felt so sorry for her though, she was really young and apologetic. She had no training whatsoever though, so this is more on her manager's shoulders, not hers. She finally brings out our bruschetta and we pay (full price) and leave. It was a nightmare. Gosh, even writing this review makes me angry again. What terrible service, what a terrible experience. This place has so much potential, but I will never come again.

My first time here was pretty decent. The lunch menu was limited but I was able to overcome that quickly. I recently planned a fun night out with some out of town guests and was excited at the opportunity to show them all the great venues Omaha has to offer and let me tell you...this place fell short! The good news-we were sat at our table right away and that is about the only good thing I have to say about my experience. We were greeted by a waitress to only a few moments after her greeting are then joined by a lady who I am assuming was the manager and another doe eyed waitress. Apparently there was a new staff member who needed to get her piece of the pie for the bar area table guests. Our new waitress took our drink orders, came back later to drop off water and then took our appetizer orders. Then a few moments later our apps arrived and then followed a few minutes later by our beers. I'm sorry but sitting next to the bar I could have walked up and had an entire beer before those for the table arrived. We shortly thereafter ordered our food and all seemed well minus being given an opportunity to get another beer as we were afraid we wouldn't get it in a timely manner. As the food arrived, being delivered by two young gentleman they handed out food roll calling what the item was. I had ordered the Lobster Club as it looked super delicious as highlighted on previous reviews. The boys however were not as familiar with their menu as they referred to it as a "Shrimp Burger." I finally realized as I was the last one that must have been my lobster club. I wish I could say the problem with the food started here but my sandwich wasn't great. Dry and the lobster was not delicious. Others at my table complained about food being salty and just eh overall. I am not interested in returning to this location but I feel that it will be something I can't avoid as the location is just too ideal not to enjoy during the summer. Next time; I will sit at the bar and hopefully that will allow me and my guests the opportunity to have a better experience. I will however think twice about really being committed to going to this restaurant again. I can only hope your experience is better.

We went here Saturday for a friend's graduation. I would say location wise, they have it made but need vast improvement in the service department. Three of us ordered beer flights; when our waitress brought them out, they were not labeled at all and we were very confused on what each of us had ordered. They were also out of several on the menu and we had to pick different ones. The whole point of a beer flight is to try new beers so we needed to know what we were drinking. The waitress did not seem to care and assist us in letting us know what beer was which, or she had no idea. One person in our group was inquiring about getting a keg, and she did not know that they actually do not sell them but kept telling us she was getting the manager to ask and acting as if they did sell them. We had to tell the waitress when we were ready to order food, she did not ask. We all ordered the brisket bacon bleu burger, but my fiancé and I did not want bleu cheese and the waitress even insisted we could substitute cheddar, so we agreed. This apparently led her to think we were ordering a completely different burger off the menu, smoked cheddar, so she started asking if we wanted fried onion which we did not, but made it clear we still wanted all the other toppings, like bacon. My fiancé said no tomato and that if it came with pickles of any kind, that he did not want them and he told her this twice. When we got our food, his burger had pickles on top just like everyone else's so that the pickle juice was dripping all over the bun and he also had tomato. He requested a new bun. Neither of us had bacon so we asked the waitress about that and she rudely demanded that I check my burger for bacon and then she will get me some, which she ended up doing. I am not sure how she didn't realize the bacon was not on our burgers. Her demeanor was overall rude and she never apologized for the mistakes. We had to ask for our checks without her offering them. The food was okay at best, despite all the problems with the service. The beer was the best part but we still weren't sure entirely which one was which on some of them. When we got our check, we were being charged 3.10 for bacon. We asked her about this (because we had only substituted cheese and ordered the same burger and the one she was confusing it with was also the same price) and she said the cook was giving her a hard time about it and she took it off. I don't understand why it was so hard to just substitute cheese on a burger. I was excited to try this place but the service ruined the overall experience for us. I might come back someday if I see better reviews on the service.

Worst service I've seen in Omaha. Omaha in general has had service when it comes to dinning out but this place sucks the most.

Beautiful building- inside and out. We sat on the patio with amazing views of the river and river walk. The beer was great, my father and I were both happy with our various selections. The food was below average in my opinion. We had the lunch menu so perhaps I may edit this review if I get a chance to try that out..

Food was just ok. Service was awful. Took 30 minutes to get drinks. Food took forever. I had to go up to the bar to get my water refilled. Ridiculous. They are not staffed for events going on downtown. Seems like a management issue, staff is friendly.

I was excited at both the fact that they had redeveloped this long-closed restaurant, and that Storz had a taproom presence in Omaha. I had had the Storz lager on tap at Crescent Moon a few months prior, and thought it was a solid lager (which seem to be coming into fashion). Though the bartender, at that time, told me it was brewed in Lincoln (I don't think that's true). They had something like eight beers on tap, mostly in the lager vein, but also a couple of random ones, like a doppelbock. I had that and one of the lager-styled beers. The doppelbock was way too sweet, but it was decent. I had some sort of zucchini appetizer for food. It was just sliced and grilled zucchini with marinara to dip. I thought it was pretty good. Service seemed a bit disorganized. It seemed like they were just opening, but they had been open for 6 months. Maybe it'll get settled before the summer really gets going. Really good happy hour. I think the beers were $2.25 or so.

Where to begin? The food was okay. Ordered fish and chips and it was actually pretty good, albeit a bit skimpy on the portions for what I paid. We had to ask for utensils and napkins when the food came. I ordered one of the pale ales off the menu and was told they were out of it. I ordered a different one and it was brought to be in a bottle - they don't even have their own beer on tap. Usually servers pour bottled beer into my glass, but not here. The beer was subpar, in my opinion. When the check arrived, the server put it at the far end of our table. We had to physically get up to retrieve it. There was absolutely no attention to detail from the staff. Overall, a very disappointing experience. There are way too many good restaurants in Omaha put up with that type of service. We won't be coming back.

Went here with a large-ish group after a nighttime group run near the Pedestrian Bridge. Had been looking forward to trying Storz out for awhile and was excited that it finally worked out to visit. When we walked in, the host at the front was very friendly and ushered us over towards the main bar to order beers. My husband and I, plus a few others from our group, waited by the bar for about 5 minutes before we were even given any attention, let alone a menu. Not impressed. When we finally did get our beers, we ordered the Triumph, the Bavarian Wheat Lager, and the Amber Ale - all were just ok, decent session beers. That's fine, and they were refreshing after a 4 mile run. Nothing was really calling our name from the menu, but we hesitantly ordered the steak nachos not expecting much. Turns out, they were the best part of the experience - the meat was well cooked, chips were crispy, and both accompanying salsas were tasty. Unfortunately, the service and the mediocre beers will be what keeps me from rushing back, but I may give it another chance if I find myself down that way again.

They have a wide selection of their Storz beers and to help decide you can order a taster. The beers are all okay but, nothing worth having twice. The food was okay but nothing special as long as you don't get something fried. the onion rings were more grease then anything..yuck! the staff are lack luster and not knowledgeable either. So unless every other restaurant is full don't come here. Too bad with such a nice location next to the Missouri River you would think it would be better but, it is not.

Great location, right on the river with a great patio. Unfortunately, the beer wasn't really as good as the location deserved. However, the waitstaff was uniformly wonderful. Altogether, we had a nice time despite not-so-great beer.

Awful. The service is absolutely terrible. Tons of wait staff but no one doing anything. Table next to us actually left after drinks without paying because the sever never went back to their table after delivering drinks. We had two drinks were charged for 3 and had to request out tab twice. Great venue terrible follow through.

Well done.

Thank you.

Awful. The service is absolutely terrible. Tons of wait staff but no one doing anything. Table next to us actually left after drinks without paying because the sever never went back to their table after delivering drinks. We had two drinks were charged for 3 and had to request out tab twice. Great venue terrible follow through.
