Stories. It's all good! Coffee, Lunch/Dinner, bakery items... Wine & too many other goodies to mention! It's a coffeehouse-bistro-bakery-restaurant-mini-market-cafe in one spot. Ambiance is awesome, not too noisy & not too quiet. Decor is unique & welcoming with personal touch. Variety of seating choices. Outdoor patio. Choose your ideal spot. Perfect for everyone...Friends & co-workers. Client meeting/lunch. Families (good selection of board games & cards). Date night. Applicant interviews, etc. If you need anything special or have a concern reach out to the staff or ask if owner is there, they are friendly & accommodating! Thanks for this great addition to Omaha's community!

Now, I'll start by saying that I only came here for a Latte to get my day started and was headed out of town. The location was very convenient and easy to find, close to a big shopping area and not far from my hotel. I came in just as they were opening the door so I was the first customer of the day and in that first few minutes I was very impressed. This is a really nice, relaxed, open and inviting room. This is the kind of place I would love to hang out in, have a coffee or two and spend some time catching up on emails or getting some work done. Would be a great place to hang with a friend as well other than I don't live here and don't have any friends (here, not in general). They have a kitchen in back and the sandwiches and items looked really good, judging from the menu. This is what a local coffee house needs, a kitchen. Not more frozen items that are cooked to death in a super oven while you drive past in your car, but some place where you order, wait and eat something fresh! Get the Hell out of your cars people, really...it's a coffee house...be social (sorry, sore spot). Loved this place and I will definitely be back next trip! KT

I went to this cute little coffee place! It was beautiful inside. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and relaxing. Great place to study or catch up with friends. We had coffee, and we also ate there. I had the meatloaf and four cheese macaroni and cheese with potato bacon soup. I love soup, but it was so salty I couldn't finish it. The main dish was good, a little on the greasy side. However, when I got home my stomach ached, and I felt awful. I have a very strong stomach. I have not thrown up since the fourth grade! So, I just thought that I had over ate or that my stomach was cramping from the grease. I shortly went to bed, hoping that when I woke up in the morning the pain would be gone. Unfortunately, I woke up around midnight to find out that I had to run to the bathroom. I had food poisoning. I texted my friend that I went with. She said she was fine, so I assume I got sick from the meatloaf (but I threw up all of the food I ate at Stories). After about 40 minutes in the bathroom, I took two tums and went back to bed. This morning my stomach is still a little queasy. When I first arrived at Stories, I said that I have to come back with my sister because she would absolutely adore this place. After last night, I personally, don't think I will return because of how sick I got. I wouldn't want to risk the chance of it happening again. This was my first time being food poisoned in my lifetime, and I would not like to experience it again.

This place is so cute! The concept is really great-a group of entrepreneurial women who decided to bring their businesses together into one eclectic, vibrant space. They have entirely too many desserts to choose from (a good problem, for sure), DELICIOUS sipping chocolates-I recommend the salted caramel, and a great variety of fresh coffee drinks, toddy, and food. Plus, there's a little wine bar area in back for those days when you say you're "going to study or do work" but end up watching Netflix instead with a nice glass of vino :)

Try the bruschetta chicken salad.. It's amazing! And the desserts are to die for. The coffee house is cute and cozy. It gives you a European coffee house feel and is great for cute couple dates.

Wow! I just discovered this lovely coffee shop on a recent business trip to Omaha. Upon entering, the cozy decor made me feel at home right away. It's very cute and whimsical. I ordered tea and worked on my laptop, but they also serve coffee, wine, food, sweets. The lady next to me was sipping wine and working on her laptop...looked like a nice way to spend the afternoon! The staff was very friendly, too. If you're in the area, check it out!

Mind = blown Hands down best coffee of my life. Amazing atmosphere Awesome staff I wish I lived in Omaha just for this coffee If you're debating on coming here, just do it, I promise you will love it.

As many have already said, the atmosphere of this coffeehouse is adorably unique. It is a little hidden treasure inside a nondescript building on the corner of Pacific/180th. It is a perfect place to meet a friend for coffee or have a Bible study or book club. They also now have live music on Fridays and Saturdays. I love seeing how this little local business evolves. I enjoy rooting for an underdog in a land filled with Starbucks and Scooters. Don't get me wrong--I still frequent those other places, but this is the place I go to have in depth conversations with the friends I love. This is the place I go for an experience. Little details I have loved: plates in the shape of open books, mason jar glasses like my grandma used to have, two soups made from scratch each day, tables with chalkboard tops to doodle on, all the local businesses that sell their products at Stories.

What a lovely location. The food and drink are top rate. The atmosphere is unique and special. I love going to this coffeehouse. An ideal place for all the locavores out there. Homemade goodies made with heart and love. 5 Star on this part of the business. Team members at time seem overwhelmed. They are unsure who just arrived and who has been helped. They are sincere in their care and service so this is not a huge deal. I am assuming training and coaching is happening. The only major issue I have is the hours. They are a coffee shop that does not open until 8am. I cannot meet with people for an early morning meeting here. By 8am I am at work with the rest of the world. Additionally they are not open on Sundays. (From a business standpoint they are missing out on the post church crowd.) After church we went to Stories to find they were closed. There were two other groups there discovering the same thing. Open at Noon on Sundays this would allow team members to attend services and for you to still catch Sunday business.

Great and relaxed environment. Comfy seating, wine and great food. What more could a girl want?

Went for a late lunch. It was a beautiful day so we sat outside. Food was great, but the service was less than adequate. I think being on the patio, we got forgotten. Will go back to try the deserts. They looked amazing!

Great food just some very lazy employees. One looked like she got 2 hrs of sleep. Overall good just wake up while working ;)

STORIES IS WONDERFUL! The pastry lover inside of you can grab a baked good of delightfulness (aka chocolate), the crafter within can purchase antiques, pieces of furniture, and other rustic goods, the foodie in you can indulge in some mac n cheese, sandwiches, salads, and wraps, while the caffeine seeker within can choose from a variety of lattes and coffee flavors (ie blueberry-merlot coffee), and lastly the wino in you can choose from a variety of wines and other alcoholic beverages of your choice. The ambiance is very welcoming and adorable. I enjoy to come here with some classmates to get school work done. The atmosphere allows me to focus and I always feel content with my caffeine level, fullness level, and work productivity level.

First time here. The atmosphere was lovely, dark, and antique. If you want to have wine, coffee, or tea and have a one-on-one meeting or surf the internet, it is a great place. If you want lunch, expect overpriced for the quality. I had a salad that featured steak. The small portion of meat was obviously over- cooked in advance. It was dry and tasteless.. The salad's greens were limp because of too much dressing. My iced tea was served in a plastic cup sans lemon as they were out of them. The food was served on a disposable plate. I needed a knife, salt and pepper. Non were offered nor present. Will I be back? Doubtful. I have tea and antiques as well as good food at home.

The only thing I didn't like about this place was when I had to leave. Great service. Amazing coffee. This place makes all other coffee shops very boring and uninviting. I will certainly be back....for a couple more hours.

Was looking for a place to study and remembered how much I liked the biscotti, so I stopped in. Today I tried the peppermint biscotti, which was amazing! As a college student, I'm on a tight budget but the 1.95 was well worth it! I especially liked the crushed peppermint on top of the frosting. To go with the biscotti, I tried a french press. They offered 5 single origin coffees, which was nice and something I haven't seen here before. I tried the Peru, was very smooth. I didn't even need cream, which is unusual for me. On the downside, it was 4.50, and while that's not a high price for a french press, normally they're a little bigger (I'm guessing that the one I had was 14oz). Finally, about an hour into my stay, I went back up to the counter craving a cappuccino. It was the perfect drink to warm me up and served in an adorable little cup with a plate shaped like an open book. That said, it was not a cappuccino, it was a latte. Sorry guys, but espresso and steamed milk topped with a teeny tiny bit of foam does not a cappuccino make. Don't get me wrong, it was tasty, but I was hoping for foam (generally the reason someone orders a cappuccino) and there wasn't even the bare minimum required to qualify the drink as a cappuccino. Some of the things that could've been better: It was a bit cold. I know that temperature is subjective, but I was wearing jeans and a long-sleeved shirt. Next time I will bring a hoodie. Also, again, broke college student, but I'm not especially fond of paying for drinks that are made incorrectly. I am thinking I will return and buy lots and lots of sweets and brewed coffee, but probably not more espresso drinks. Some of the highlights of my visit: I really REALLY liked the music, the atmosphere was cool as always, I see that they now have a happy hour menu with wine on it, which is awesome. The sweet selection is bomb. The wifi worked perfectly. All the books used in the decor plus generally located around the shop kind of put me into the mood to study. The girls at the counter were friendly.

This is the best coffeehouse atmosphere I've come across in West O, but calling it a coffeehouse is selling it short--I've actually never had the coffee. They have an affordable and fun selection of wine, alcoholic beverages and comfort food. And they have great live music from singer songwriters on Friday and Saturday nights! But if that's not your thing they also have a selection of books and games you can borrow. The decor is eclectic and fun--very Alice in wonderland. The food is comforting and delicious--we had the spinach and artichoke (awesome!) and Mac and cheese, which is made with four cheeses including their own smoked Gouda--yeah, it doesn't dissappoint. Whether you want to come in for a relaxing cup of coffee or an evening of drinks with friends--this place serves up a little bit of everything, and they do it well. Service is a bit slow on the weekends, but you're sticking around for the music and atmosphere anyway right? Seriously, you've got to come check this place out!

Firstoff, I'll say that I REALLY wanted to like this place more. I mean it's close, unique concept (multiple businesses in one), and very home-y. On my first visit, I came with my family shortly after it opened. The place was interesting, super dark (if you like natural lighting, I don't recommend this place), and overall unique. All their chairs and tables are mismatched giving it that "rustic" feeling. Unfortunately for me, it came off as "we picked up a bunch of random chairs and tables at Goodwill and threw it together". When we ordered the food, the prices were about average for sandwiches, wraps and kids meals, but I felt the portions were small. My $10 sandwich came with a side of fruit...about a cup. Not the best value, but not the worst either. They gave me the wrong sandwich and the manager was quick to remake my sandwich AND she gave me a voucher for a free meal on my next visit. That was refreshing! Except when it came time to redeem my free meal... I came in yesterday around 10:45 hoping to grab a quick lunch to go. There was one lady in line in front of me who was extremely indecisive and kept going back and forth. Normally, I don't care except there was only two of us in line and I counted at least FOUR employees (none who greeted me in the awkward 15 minutes I stood there waiting to be acknowledged). So the ratio was...2 customers, 4 employees, and I was not greeted or acknowledged in the in the 15 minutes I stood there. Mind you, I even made eye contact with at least 2 of their employees in that So in Summary: Food is nothing special (wraps, sandwiches, etc.) Unique concept of multiple businesses in one TERRIBLE customer service Dark lighting, mismatched furniture Oh, and just in case you're wondering. After standing there for 15 minutes, I eventually walked out. There are plenty of other lunch places that want my money.

Had a great breakfast here with friends. They have a limited breakfast menu but lots of coffee options. I had an americano that was very rich and bold. I got the oatmeal with candied nuts, brown sugar and as strawberries. I think it was instant oats which was disappointing, but overall it was delicious. I've been here many times. At times the service has been very slow. Today my waitress was prompt and helpful.

We were in the area visiting family. They suggested this place for a coffee. It is located in a strip mall with all the windows blacked out. Then the walls are chalk board paint. You sit down at a table and then someone comes and give you a menu. They have some hot items like eggs, bacon and sausage. Coffees and teas. Overall a cute little place. Our family stated sometimes they have music in there as well. Appears they do cakes, etc. I thought maybe it was a tad high in price but if we were back in the area we would probably stop by again.

The atmosphere was amazing..cute kitchy little place! The salted Carmel latte was as perfect as can be. I will frequent this place for sure!
(5)Claire S.
This is the kind of coffeeshop you want to spend the whole day working in. The decor is on point - a motley assortment of tables, rocking chairs, cabinets, dressers, hutches, and display cases with vintage clocks and inspirational quotes written on mirrors hanging on the wall. There's plenty of table space of various seating amounts and three spaces divided with furniture-walls that make it feel even more roomy. It all has a sort of Alice-in-Wonderland feel. I've had the raspberry and peppermint hot chocolate and both are great.

It's charming. Great atmosphere. Worth driving half way across town to enjoy their cozy environment. I took time off work to do so. Not my first visit. I didn't have a cup of coffee before my 9:00 a.m. arrival. Big mistake. Huge! Waitress said she would give us time to review the menu. I told her, "No need to wait...I need to mainline coffee now." We all laughed. In spite of my desperate plea, one non-fussy Café au lait arrived half way through my bowl of room temperature oatmeal. My friend said, "Do they have to go to Ethiopia for your coffee?" Maybe the saddest was she was speedy to bring the bill..never asked if I wanted another cup of coffee...I did want another...I got the message to scurry out. But with that said, 3 out or 4 times were five star...

A great coffeehouse and wine bar tucked inconspicuously inside a strip mall near 180th and Pacific streets. As soon as you walk in you feel like you've been transported to a little European cafe, with wooden tables, chairs and booths tucked here and there wherever they'll fit. Oh, and there's the case full of locally made Italian goodies (canoles!) which flows into a counter full of sweet treats which flows into a bar where you can sip your latte or enjoy a glass of wine. Stories was absolutely packed on a Saturday morning when I stopped in for an Americano, leaving me to believe that those living in west Omaha must be growing weary of the chain coffee shops which populate many a suburban strip mall and are nestled inside nearly every mega-supermarket. I definitely plan on stopping by again the next time I'm in the area.

Little pricey but we'll worth the live entertainment on Fri-Sat. The atmosphere is very nice and relaxed. I got the "The old fashioned" Templeton rye for 6.95, Well poured!

Awesome coffee shop and amazing environment! Super cute fun for kids too! Food is wonderful, the Mac and cheese is to die for! I definitely recommend the coffee, Taylor is the sweetest Barista! Definitely a must stop in Omaha!

Very cool place. Just had an Irish Coffee and some Carrot Cake, both very good. I can't wait to try breakfast at this place. My waitress was super friendly and very informative. Some nights they even have live music.

Great little coffee shop in West Omaha. I really enjoyed the decor, definitely felt like I was sitting in a cottage in a fairy tale. I loved the missed-matched furniture that somehow went together and the various pieces of furniture that looked antique and hand-crafted. I came here with some friends looking for both some good lattes and cafe foods. I had a smores latte that tasted phenomenal! The mugs that it came in was super cute as well. I ordered a chicken artichoke fettuccine and my friend ordered a meatloaf and macaroni combination. Although an overall good experience and our waitress was very nice, our side soups and salads came after we received our entrees. Also, the meatloaf made my friend a little sick so she won't be returning, but I had absolute no complaints about my food. Great little coffee shop if you're near 180th and pacific!

This place is really cute!! Love all the mismatched furniture. All the furniture is for sale, interestingly cool concept. Coffee, so I got the Columbian roast French press. $4.50. Easily the most expensive coffee I've ever bought. I've traveled all over the world living in European, Asia, New York, ect. So I find it weird how expensive it is here. And sadly it was watered down but I could taste the potential of the beans. Peanut butter chocolate Bon Bon. $6. Woah, this is amazing. I was a little skeptical. But wow. If you're a peanut butter chocolate fantic you have to try this. It's huge, easily for 4 to share, it's very rich. But of course I ate 3/4 of it. Haha. I give it 4 stars for the Bon Bon and the atmosphere. I wish the coffee was less watered down. But none the less, I would come back.
(4)Kati C.
I really, really like Stories. I've been there three times--once for the sipping chocolate, and twice for the Con Panna, which I really enjoy. The atmosphere is beautiful. I appreciate that they have live music on the weekends. I feel that Stories does a good job of engaging the community with their live events and co-op style. They are a bit pricey, but the menu is quality. I hope to try the food there sometime soon.
(4)Lisa P.
A must-visit coffeehouse and wine bistro. The atmosphere is charming and the service is wonderful. I haven't tried the food yet but I enjoy the menu. It's the cutest, most unique coffee shop I've visited. It's like a Pinterest board came to life, haha!
