The gyro meat is dry and chopped like steak for a Philly cheesesteak, but some reason it works and I can't get enough of it... I think it's the spicy sauce, it must be the sauce.

The service is great, it is usually just being run by one guy and they are all really chill. The food is phenomenal yet simple. Taste like you are in a Mediterranean Heaven. Definitely a good place to bring the bros.

I tried this place for the first time tonight, and I'm hooked. This is the best gyro I've had in the omaha area. The owner is super nice, the place is clean, and the gyro is amazing. The meat is seasoned beautifully, it's tender, and the special sauce is magic! I can't wait to eat here again!

Sam's is your typical gyro joint. I tried Sam's on a Saturday night. It was empty, so I received prompt service from the only person working (I assume it was Sam, the owner?). Well, that doesn't really matter, but he saw me scanning the menu and suggested the combo platter -- hefty servings of shredded gyro meat, chicken, veggies, rice and a pita bread. All for about $10 (doesn't include drink). Not bad. Not great. Pretty good, A-OK, etc. I have to say the highlight of the meal was the chicken, which was seasoned well and very juicy. The gyro meat was a bit on the dry side and was shaved into tiny bits. That could have been due to it being later in the evening, but who knows. Overall, I'm glad to have another solid food option in the neighborhood and will be back soon to explore more of the menu.

Well, I think King Kong has some competition in the 'hood. We were craving a gyro but it was late and we didn't want to go far. I was looking here on Yelp for something that sounded good. Turns out, Sam's has been open for three weeks. I was a bit apprehensive as there was only one review by someone who has only two reviews so I'm less likely to believe their review as being accurate. Sam's is in the same shopping center as No Frills, facing Saddle Creek between Cuming and California. The small dining room is clean. The menu is posted on a board and you go to the counter to order. In addition to gyros, there were also philly cheesesteak and burgers. Sides included falafel and stuffed grape leaves which are vegetarian and made in house. I'm interested in trying more of the menu. I only ordered two gyros and fries. You can decide what you want on your gyro, including all the usual stuff and feta. we live just a few blocks away and since everything was prepared fresh it was still very hot. Fries had a season salt and you can get a side of cucumber sauce for your fries. The gyro was packed with very tasty meat. We both really enjoyed it. The only complaint was that the cucumber sauce is very thin and I

I first stopped in because the reviews on yelp and I have kept coming back ever since. This restaurant has the best tasting beef I have ever had. Also their sauce is above all else. The first time I went in I ordered their lunch combo, which came with a gyro, fries and a drink for just $7. But ever since then I have stuck with the combo platter, with the spicy salad and the spicy sauce, because it taste so good and it is so much food. Their baklava, is really tasty as well. Also the owner is a really awesome guy and the last time I was in he made it an off the menu sandwich which was extremely delicious. Overall, this place deserves a 5 star rating because the food is bomb and the people working there are awesome.
Stopped into this place on a whim. Their menu is very basic, and on this visit, I tried their beef gyro platter, which included rice, salad, and of course, the gyro. Everything was very tasty, and for the price, the portions were very large. Good, solid place to eat a quick meal at. Their staff were also very friendly and accommodating.

Went here on a Saturday a few weeks ago, and it was EMPTY! Normally, I'd just turn around and run out the door in this situation, but I was super stressed about a family situation, and needed some fries, STAT. So, I decided to be daring and go ahead and take something to go. The guy behind the counter said that they are busy during the week, but less so on the weekend. The decor is simple inside. Seemed cleaned (hasn't been open for very long, so that's subject to change, I suppose). So, the food options are pretty simple--they don't try to do too many things. I ordered the combo meal--beef gyro, fries and drink. There was a ton of meat there; seemed well worth the price. Fries were okay, made on the spot, but a little salty. Since I was craving fries, they get dinged on that. But, all in all, the food was fresh and ready to go pretty quickly. Guy behind the counter was personable and I'd try it again. FYI--I think the combo is a dollar more on the weekends?.

Great new family ran gyro place. I love the yellow rice they have. It adds something new to the typical greek offerings. They did a wonderful job cooking the gyro meat so it had a nice sear on the pieces.

Best combo plate. I love the chicken, and always for the golden rice. Great portion, can't always finish it.

A good place to try. The beef gyro was good. The fellow working there is pretty proud of the sauce, so watch out of him putting too much on. Rice is nothing fancy. Bottom line is the gyro's are recommended.

Based on yelp reviews I decided to give this relatively new place a chance. Wow it was really good. Probably the best gyro in Midtown. They have lettuce cucumbers olives feta cheese and other good things you can put on it that you don't usually find at other places. The rice is also pretty good, and don't forget to get the sauce on the side with the fries.

I had the beef gyro with yellow rice. It was awesome! Simple and delicious! I will probably never go to King Kongs again now that I found Sam's!

Greek food is a fine melody of the finest pressed olive oil, fresh fermented bread, colorful vegetables, juicy meat, sea food all cooked in spices and fresh rosemary. The people from Greek were great scholars who aimed to excel in everything they do. The results are quite visible in their food as they are the inventors of olive oil which is beneficial to health. Greeks also made different type of wines from the best quality of grapes fermented in controlled environment.

People wait in line to taste the exotic Greek dishes like saganaki, taramasalata, souvlaki, loukoumades, spanakopita, moussaka, and many more. One thing which most people like about these authentic Greek dishes is abundant use of lemon juice, olive oil, fresh rosemary and sea salt. A smart mix of few ingredients can virtually take you on the pebble streets of beautiful city of Greece.
For those who don't have time to enjoy fine dining should try tasting the famous souvlaki with pita which is type of meat dish, also a trademark Greek fast food. Don't let the unassuming appearance of this little restaurant deter you from stopping in... my fiancé has been talking about this place for weeks so even though I wasn't hungry... I went with him and ordered a greek salad. when I told the cook/cashier that it was my first time eating there, he offered me a falafel to try and also a little cup of yellow rice with meat on it. Everything was so tasty and fresh!!! The salad was made with iceberg lettuce but it was still a step above comparable Greek salads because it had a spicy red seasoning on it and delicious feta cheese. The falafel had a yummy flavor and wasn't too heavy or overly fried tasting (I will probably order that the next time I go) He compared the rice mixture to the #8 and said it was his favorite dish, it was also very tasty, not dry at all and again- a lot of flavor!!! My fiancé ordered a gyro, which I also had a few bites of... the meat was delicious and well seasoned. We ordered the stuffed grape leaves as a side, I figured I would take them home since I wasn't very hungry, but i ended up finishing them all. I may not have been hungry when I walked in, but after a few bites my mouth was watering for more! The staff member (or maybe he is the owner?) is very personable and friendly, he defintely takes pride in the food and service.
