Stopped in here today for some fast lunch and it was pretty delicious! We've had it once before at a different location but didnt like it, this location was good though. My husband and I both had steak phillys, shared a basket of fries and each had a large drink. Total it costed a little over 20 dollars. I ate a little more then half of my sandwich and half the fries and was full so I would personally say it's worth the money for what you get. Customer service was pretty good, nothing that stood out but nothing bad either. The line was short and went fast. It was a little hard for them to hear my order because of my soft voice and the loud atmosphere behind the counter. That was the only bad side for me. The store was clean but the restroom was a bit creepy, it was dim lighting and the lights above the sink were flickering so I hurried out lol.

Pepperjax is a fun little place to stop in for a good savory philly, rice bowl, or I think they do wraps. But I love the phillies. Double meat with all the toppings and a couple scoops of ranch dressing. A pretty good meal!

Between a 3.5 and a 4... Haven't been to a Pepperjax in a while, and we decided to grab lunch here. The location was clean and the staff was extremely friendly, especially the gentleman who appeared to be the manager. The food was made to order, freshly prepared and was fast. From a 'fast food' perspective, this is a good alternative to your typical burger places. A good value and tasty. The steak in my Philly was a bit heavy on the salt, but otherwise was quite good with the one of the optional 'steak sauces' added.

I normally don't like chains, but I decided to try pepperjax because they dont have them where I'm from. I got the famous philly with steak, which was really, really big, and overflowing with meat. I also got a side of queso and chips. Overall, I thought everything was too salty, but still tasty. My coworker got a giant chicken burrito that he seemed to be happy with. Another coworker got the beans and rice, which turned into a salad after they let him add lettuce and tomato and whatnot. That in itself is probably a solid meal for most people. On a side note, the employees were pretty funny. They all laughed when we said we were from the northeast and asked why we were in Omaha. One of the female staff hilariously asked my coworker, "it smells great, is that you?" Not the worst place for a quick meal!

PepperJax Grill is a great fast food place and every time I'm back in Omaha I try and visit for lunch! Downtown location is open late which is a good call. I wish they had one in Phoenix, AZ

PepperJax is my favorite philly place! I can't get a philly anywhere else because no one compares! I always get the steak philly with peppers, onions, cheese, a pinch of jalapenos, and no mushrooms. This equals perfection. It's fast, they make it right in front of you. I also love how they have a wide variety of sauce selection for food on the side, so the customers can help themselves. I always get the au jus for my sandwich and spicy ranch for the fries. I have been to this location many times, and I have zero complaints.

So good. I love Pepperjax. My recommendation is to get the philly with no jalepenos (I find they detract from the flavor), smother it in mushroom gravy, and no fries. If you're still hungry, get another sandwich (the fries are okay, but not worth it, and the phillies are generally big enough).
Great food place. I was in town from California for a wedding and got the chicken Philly. And wow it was to die for. It rivals the real philly cheese steaks. I would definitely go back when I visit again. I didn't do the jalepano dip but next time I'll give it a shot

Chicken philly is awesome, the chipotle ranch is good too, they'll tell you it's real hot, but don't believe them, it's tasty and not too hot. Fries are a bit lacking, but a decent place.

Parking is a bit of an issue. Crowded. My wife loved her meal. She ordered a steak wrap- "build your own" kind of thing. I ordered the cheesesteak and was far from impressed. My wife's taste in food leaves me to believe this place would deserve another shot- obviously ordering something different this time.

Me and my boyfriend have been here a couple times within the past month. At all of the Pepperjax locations all the food is always good. I wantes to yelp about this particular location because... THE STAFF IS SO FREAKIN AWESOME. Seriously. everytime we go there they are the friendliest people I have ever encountered in the food industry. The woman manager is so funny! She even offered to warm up my boyfriends cookie yesterday :) I usually have things to complain about but I have no complaints here. I love how the managers will come around and ask if everything tastes good.. which it always does :) Keep it up! It's so refreshing to come in contact with people who love their jobs.

The fries actually taste like they were fried in something wholly unhealthy. Just delicious! The beef Philly I had was excellent. Not too greasy and good flavor throughout. The take out service was SUPER. They actually put people's names on the boxes. That is a nice touch. And the whole operation seemed to run on greased skids... man they were efficient and smooth. So you leave with decent food and no stress.

This is the best PepperJax in town. While I do enjoy their Philly, my heart is really with their rice bowl. It's huge (easily two meals) and ingredients can be altered to suit your taste.

I am staying at the children's hospital and I got tired of eating hospital food. I was kind of in the mood for a cheese steak so I hopped in a taxi and called to order my food on the way. The girl who answered says " Can you hold for a minute?" I say ok and she switches over. I waited five minute riding in the cab and decided she forgot about me. I call back and the same girl answers and immediately tries to put me on hold. I very quickly tell her I am in a taxi on my way there and would like to put my order in so the taxi doesn't have to wait. She says basically "Yeah thats nice we are short staffed and very busy can you please hold.". Needless to say I'm not to happy as I pull into the parking lot on hold and hang up the phone. I walk in and there is no line and 1 person standing at the register. I walk right up and order from the chef who is standing there idly. I look over at the black girl who is now standing at the register with nothing to do and she notices me and says something. I gave the most annoyed look I could summon. As I'm checking out she apologizes about having to wait and I'm like... Why did I a have to wait nobody is here? This cashier had attitude spewing out of her so bad it was ridiculous. I'm a pretty mellow dude but she really annoyed me. If you are going to be in a position where you are interacting with customers please learn some basic customer service skills and check your attitude at the door. I'll give this establishment 2 stars because they put a ton of meet on the sandwich and they have good sweet tea which is hard to find in Omaha. The meat was dry, they put to much seasoning on it and I could barely find the cheese part of my cheese steak. The only thing that saved this sandwich was the au ju sauce which was very good and moistened up the sandwich enough to be edible. I won't be hurrying back to this place when I am back in Omaha.

I've been here twice now. The first time I tried the steak philly with all the toppings and the jalapeno pepper. It was good enough that I got it again today without even looking at the rest of the menu. The beef is tender, the spice is perfect, and the oozing cheese doesn't hurt either! Topping off the philly with a side of fries makes for a perfect meal if you're really hungry. For those with less of an appetite, it could easily be two meals.

Stopped in for lunch yesterday, and wow! I had the steak philly (soaked in Jalapeno juice) and fries...all I have to say is that the ingredients were fresh (bread, veggies and steak), and the place was clean and tidy. The cooks and management looked like they enjoyed their jobs and it showed! Will be back...

This restaurant chain is simply incredible. Granted I've never had a philly from Philadelphia itself, I honestly could not imagine it getting much better than this. They grill the onions, jalapenos, and steak all in front of you. Then top it off with slices of cheese so the cheese melts right into the flavor of all the other ingredients. I get it fireballed which means they had a touch of jalapeno juice when grilling which allows the meat and veggies to really soak in some spice. This place will get five stars since I've eaten a lot of philly's from all over (except philadelphia) and this place, thus far, is second to none.

My chicken Philly from here was great! Bread toasted just right, veggies tasted fresh and sautéed just long enough. Fries were very good. My partners steak philly was not that great. He wasn't thrilled at all. Steak was very chewy and his bread was over toasted. The staff was hit and miss, very friendly Freddy or lala land Lucy. Upon arriving, lots of dirty tables, (they remove your items) but they didn't wipe off a single table after clearing it. Would like to try pepperjax again just a different location.
