Been here many times, quality is inconsistent from day to day. Our last visit will be our last. My wife found several bugs in her side salad. We showed to the manager who didn't have much to say except that he brought her a replacement salad unprompted. Right... like we want more of your pre-made batch of bug salad.

I ordered the half soup half sandwich for dinner. The fire roasted tomato soup is delicious!! The grilled cheese is leaving a bit to be desired. I'm happy with the cookie that came with my meal, though! :) Can't wait to check out the bakery section.

I bought two kids meals, grilled cheese sandwichs. The bread was rock hard and the sandwich couldn't have been any flatter. I think they pre made them weeks ago and finally heated them up. Very disappointing. I think that they are living on there past success (cookies) and don't think they need to worry about what customer get.

I've been to this location for lunch a couple of times but never for breakfast until today. We opted for Paradise over Mimi's. In my opinion, Mimi's has one of the better breakfasts around so I thought this better be good. And it was. The breakfast menu is somewhat limited but the portions were perfect. I ordered the ranchero omelette which came with two slices of bread toasted on the panini grill, fresh fruit, and a mini blueberry muffin. It was thick with egg but it was tasty. The fruit and muffin were also a nice touch. My wife enjoyed the waffles with fresh strawberries. She commented that it would be better with an extra strawberry. We both had the freshly squeezed orange juice which was fantastic. It's definitely not the cheapest option on the block but its a pretty good breakfast if you're looking beyond the standard Village Inn and IHOP chains.

With a great reputation I was expecting more. My limp salad came in a soup bowl. What kind of restaurant serves you a salad in a soup bowl? This place reminds me of our local hospital cafeteria and left me wanting more.

I have generally enjoyed coming to Paradise Bakery and Cafe to study and get some lecture writing finished. I really like the back room of the cafe as it is shielded from the drafts of the larger room. The food is typically cafe food - nothing spectacular but always satisfactory. The friendliness of the staff is variable - some are quite perky and helpful while I perceive others certainly wish they were some place else. I recommend bringing your own music / headphones if you plan to do some work / concentrate, and the cafe's sound system is pretty loud. My major complaint is the staff ALWAYS closing the back room WHILE i'm in it working. They never say anything to me, but having all the chairs turned upside down on surrounding tables all around you isn't exactly inviting. If you would like me to move, simply ask me. Otherwise don't ruin an experience by making me feel unwelcome.

This place is definitely better for cookies and baked goods than it is breakfast. Came here because there aren't a lot of options in the area - it was fine. Got scrambled eggs, they are definitely made from the powder... But came with toast and a muffin and a small fruit cup. It was meh.
