I eat here quite often and the quality is usually the same every time. I usually order golden crispy chicken and only once was it soggy. The employees that work dinner are always nice and attentive. The portions are fairly large and I often have to take food home I've tried dozens of other Chinese in Omaha but this is still my favorite. I will note I usually come here for dinner. The people that work at night seem far superior to the people that work at lunch. I've been here at lunch twice and the guy was rushed and didn't seem to really care much. The people at dinner are always awesome.

Food: lo mein, tangerine chicken, hot and sour soup, crab rangoon. Service was awesome, they refilled my water multiple times. Food was okay at best, very tasteless. I had to add soy sauce to my lo mein just to even get some sort of flavor out of it. Also the tangerine chicken tasted like it was burnt. Will I return? Probably not. Still on a search for my favorite Chinese restaurant.

Staff was very friendly. However that was the only good thing. The food was bland. I ordered lo me in and Kung pao chicken. The lo me in consisted of noodles, celery, chicken, and cabbage. It was all one color. It didn't look appetizing nor did it taste great. The Kung pao chicken was better but it wasn't amazing. The price were decent for the portion. However, I couldn't get past the blandness of the food.

Went back here. And the experience was completely different. Poor quality of food. Cheap processed chicken and beef. Not fresh want so ever. Canned mushrooms. Only thing good was the Chilli sauce. The waitress and hostess were not friendly at all.

Used to be one of my favorite places to eat, but the last two times I have been there have been pretty bad. I always order chicken fried rice, crab rangoon, and hot and sour soup. Last time there were whole boullion cubes in it, and the soup was real bland. This time the chicken was so overcooked I couldn't even bite into it, and the soup was like water. No flavor. However, the service is always friendly and their crab rangoon is still my favorite.

Ordered delivery from the downtown location. Delivery guy was here in less than an hour. Food was better than what I expected. Better than the standard flare for chinese food. Prices seem a little higher than in most places (by a dollar or two for most dishes) but the food is also better than most, and the portions are pretty generous, so you still get what you pay for. Delivery charge was 8 bucks, which is pretty high. I'd happily go back - even delivery if I have enough people to feed.

Love there food!!!(: the only compliant I would ever have with them is when there really rushed they tend to forget my hot and sower soup when I have a to-go order. But otherwise FANTASTIC food!

I have been coming here for years. The food is consistently good. The egg rolls are crispy on the outside and delicious on the inside. The Dragon Soup has great flavors. My only mark down is that the decor has not been updated in 15 yrs. It is looking very dated and worn. If that is a turn off to you at least try it as take out.

Grabbed lunch to go here this past weekend. Prices are great for lunch. The lo meins lacked flavor. Tasted like soy sauce only and needed more meat. However the Kung pao chicken is the best I have had in awhile! The sauce was excellent and even had some spice to it! Typically places call it a spicy dish but leave out the spice. Also the crab Rangoon were good. We will try it again soon.

This is the best of the Chinese restaurants we have tried in Omaha! We ordered takeout because we had an appointment nearby, then just about died when we opened the containers in the car because the food was so awesome. The owner was very thoughtful and asked us about our preferences and previous dining choices at Chinese restaurants before making recommendations to us. He was also very personable. I've never had anything like the tangerine beef - it had luscious, thick slices of beef that were tender-cooked then fried and the sauce was sweet, tangy and just slightly hot (you can adjust per your taste). We scarfed that but we had some peanut butter chicken left when we got home and the kids made quick work of that. The peanut butter chicken was excellent all the way around and very comforting. I love that everything is cooked to order. The crab rangoon is great. There was a steady stream of takeout customers while we were waiting - a good indication that the restaurant is a winner - and since they've been in business 30+ years they are obviously doing something right. "FAVORITE!" I exclaimed when we were done. It's half an hour drive from our place to Panda House but well worth the drive. I can't wait to go back.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
