We really liked the atmosphere on a Friday night out. Good wine selection and food was also not bad. Definitely not a child friendly but that was our own mistake why we went there with our kid.

Ok we went there because we were very curious. It was a Saturday afternoon we went for lunch. First it is not the most attractive place. Second the staff were great. Third the wine list for a so called wine dive left me wanting more. Food hard call here. They wife had a salad added chicken and the chicken looked like it was the left over fat and skin from the dumpster. Nasty. My ribs on the other hand were quite good. Recommend? No. Going back ? No

Great experience! We reserved a private room on a Saturday night and the service was exceptional. Conrad was our server and he was attentive and helpful. We had several other people helping us as well. We never had to ask for anything twice - which for a large party is impressive. The party room itself was awesome! There were controls for everything from lights and music to temperature. It was very charming and cozy. Not to mention how great the food and wine is!

Ugh, no. While this place seems to be quite busy catering to the West O Gen-X crowd, our visits have been quite hit and miss, and mostly miss. We first came in shortly after they opened, and the noise level was almost too much. My phone's decibel meter app put it at 90+, way too loud even for across-the table conversation. Subsequent visits have been a little quieter, but on our last one the food (appetizers) ended up giving us both stomach ailments; not something we're looking to purchase in our meals out. The food can be good, or just okay. The service can be good, or just okay. The wine prices are a bit high for my liking, especially with Brix only a few miles away offering near-daily deals on wine and food. Keep your Lexus-driving crowd, Louie's. They likely can't tell the difference.

Heard a lot of hype about this place and thought I'd finally check it out. Came around 2 hours prior to closing to catch up with a girlfriend. There was still a decent amount of people in there. Ordered a sangria to start. It was just "okay." Nothing special about it. We shared the baby got back ribs and mussels as an appetizer. The ribs were absolutely delectable. The marinade was what made it. It came along with some seasoned fries which were cooked very well. Not too crispy, not too soft - just right! There was a sauce that came along on the side (tastes similar to the rib marinade, but concentrated) is perfect to dip the fries in. The mussels were a big ol' disappointment. They were so incredibly tiny and more than half were just shells. They were topped with what I believed to be garlic bread. Didn't bother to eat it since I didn't want to be filled up on mostly carbs. The sauce the mussels were in were just ok; hardly any flavor. Slightly cool when we received it so it added to the disappointment. I ordered the fish and frites. I just wanted something fishy. It came out literally 5 minutes after my appetizers arrived. Fried well and the fries are the same ones that came along with the baby got back ribs. Tartar sauce was standard, no malt vinegar provided. My friend ordered the pork chops. She only ate a bite and took the rest home. She never mentioned her thoughts about it. Our server was nowhere to be found when we first arrived. The host/other server took care of us for about 20 minutes before our actual server decided to show up. He was very attentive, a little TOO attentive. I can't remember his name but he began inserting himself into our conversations. He was very forward and awkward; asked us about helping him find a girlfriend out of nowhere. When he brought boxes to our table, I said we could take care of them since we were still snacking, but he insisted that he be the one who does that. He boxed them at the table! I wouldn't have a problem with that, BUT he used his bare hands to get our food in them. I don't know where his hands have been, but as a former server...they can't be clean enough to place our food in their boxes with his bare hands!!! I was so grossed out. When he came to my plate, I told him "no" and that I would rather do it myself. He got snappy at me and tried to play it off. We eventually left an hour before closing, ONLY due to the server becoming impatient with us. He might as well be escorting us out to our cars, it was annoying. Luckily the food made up for the service, but I hope I never have him as a server in the future.

This place is pretty good. I've came here for brunch and dinner both and overall have had great food with great service. It is a little pricey but other than that great place to be.

The service is so bad that it makes you want to either get up and leave or strangle the next server you see that walks by and deliberately ignores you. I've been here a few times since it's close to where I live, and it's always the same treatment. The food is mediocre and wayyy overpriced. A bowl of pho and an iced tea was $21. You can go down the street and get double the pho for $10 at Viet Omelet. Plus, Louie's uses fettuccini noodles instead of Asian noodles, blech. Good steak in the pho though. Don't mean to sound too much like a germaphobe, but I saw the waitress take out my straw while refilling my tea and then put it back in my tea, yuck!!! She couldn't give me a new straw?? In summary, stay very far away!!!!
The Service was great. The bartenders were very nice and welcoming and the owner is out and about in the Pub. He is very friendly, outgoing, and very technically adept. The calamari as sited by other reviews was different but very very good. Instead of being just fried it is fried and than basted in a Teriyaki sauce. The sauce had a little bit of kick to it also!! Only reason this was not a 5 star rating was that we had to wait over 50 minutes for a table at the bar even though there was open tables. After that 50 minute wait we decided to leave and go to Blatts (which is our new favorite place). I have to admit though it was Friday Night but we still couldn't figure out after 50 minutes of open tables why we were not seated. All of that being said though, we would return and give it another shot in the future. The wait staff and owner were just that welcoming, and the food was that good. Someone being nice and outgoing definitely has its merits and Louie's definitely had that aspect to it!!

I went here with my mom for dinner on a Thursday night. We started with the calamari for an appetizer and a carafe of their house white wine. The carafe is a little over two glasses of wine and their house white was a decent, dry wine. The calamari was excellent! It was topped with a spicy honey hoisin glaze and comes with two dipping sauces: one of them was a sweet, tangy sauce (we really liked this one) and the second was similar to sriracha (or may have been sriracha). For my entree I ordered the fish and chips, which was served with cole slaw. The fish had a nice, crispy breading and a great flavor. It was a little tough, though. The wedge fries had an herb seasoning and were really good. The cole slaw is more vinegar-based than creamy. I was not a fan of the cole slaw, as a I prefer a creamy base, but my mom really liked it. I also tried my mom's crab cakes and they were excellent. I have tried their lobster and shrimp mac and their portobello prosciutto and truffle mac on another visit and both were excellent, although I preferred the portobello version better. This restaurant has a neat atmosphere but it is pretty loud. Our waitress was nice, but not overly friendly, and was a little inattentive at times (we had to flag her down to order our entrees). The last time I was here the service was great, though, so I don't think this is a regular issue. Overall I really enjoy this restaurant and I will definitely be back again.

My experience was delightful! My first visit is clearly going to be not the norm as I arrived around 1145am on a Thursday for lunch. The menu is very diverse and sophisticated but not too experimental. The portions are very generous as well. The service was quick and friendly so no complaints there. My only concern was I was asked how I wanted my burger prepared and it doesn't seem they really have any control over that as they don't seem like fresh patties at all and not very juicy. I really enjoyed the quinoa salad as my side dish as well. I will be going back and hopefully when I can enjoy some wine and that live music they advertise so much.

Okay. Where to start. My SIL and I met here last Saturday afternoon. I was unsure if it was seat yourself. The bartender (possibly manager) looked rather frazzled behind the bar and did not acknowledge me. When I started to walk to a table, she freaked. Apparently they seat you. She seemed over-abrasive. She then sat me by the door...it was like 13 degrees that day. Thanks, lady. While I waited for my SIL to get there, I ordered a glass of wine. While waiting for my SIL, instead of getting my wine, the server was on her phone. I get it that we are in the age of technology and blah-blah, but that was rude and poor customer service. The server did not bring my wine until she brought my SIL's wine . I thought that was odd, as I might have drank the first glass super fast and then ordered another. Whatever. Tech savvy server recommended the Lobster Poutine. Uhh, glorified french fries with a sodium saturated disaster. They were really too much. I swear I could feel myself swelling from the amount of sodium. Yikes. I'm glad I went, now I know there's other places out there.

I was here for a retirement party the other day so fortunately I had the opportunity to sample a number of different items. Their cocktails were pretty good. The sangrias were a big hit with almost everyone at the party. When it comes to food I would say everything was just okay. The shrimp bisque was average. The steak deburgo which was supposed to be crusted with Parmesan cheese was more like Parmesan cheese just melted on the top of the steak. The shrimp Diablo had too much sriracha sauce and that's really all I could taste. The lobster poutine was awesome! Our server brought us an extra serving and everyone at the table seems to enjoy it. The service was great, but overall I would just say the food was average and I don't feel a strong need to go back.

The veggie ratatouille is one of the best dishes I've ever had. I also love the bruschetta appetizer. It's so fresh and flavorful. The atmosphere is fun and the food is served pretty quick considering the food is all fresh. The sangria is also really good. I would come here so much more if it wasn't all the way out West. I live downtown. That being said, it's still definitely worth the drive!

Really enjoyed today's lunch. Mimosas were great. Appetizers included calamari (best I''ve ever had), margherita flatbread pizza; entree lobster and shrimp Mac & cheese, and a lemon torte for dessert. Service was good. Will definitely come back again.

My first visit to Louie's Wine Dive was just okay. We took a seat at the bar with the idea that we'd decide how to proceed (to stay or to go) once we settled in with a glass of wine. The wine menu provides options across the more familiar varietals to cover the reds, the whites, the sparklings - so no, you're not limited to tap wine (yes, there's tap wine), but don't expect Chateau de Beaucastel Chateauneuf du Pape either. We chose not to dine in on this particular evening. A couple of the menu items seemed interesting (I'm glad poutin is gaining in popularity in the US), but not interesting enough to commit to. We got the distinct impression that they may have been a bit overrun prior to our stopping in and needed the break to catch up which definitely influenced our decision. I'm giving them a "pass" since they've just opened and probably didn't anticipate the crush in this location. Atmosphere is interesting with a mix of standard restaurant furniture, vintage looking pieces, wine themed decor and a few mounted televisions. Prices are what you'd expect pay per glass, per bottle and per entree - as long as you don't expect actual "dive" prices.

I want to start by saying I really like the atmosphere, but that's where it stops! The service is so hit or miss, and the food we have ordered on numerous occasions is always different, not sure what the problem is BUT if you are looking for consistency THIS IS NOT YOUR PLACE!! I will commend their wine list, they do carry a wide array of different varieties, and if you are going to drink only, this is your place.

I am absolutely in LOVE with this place. Eaten here 3 times, drank here many more and am impressed by the food and service every time! Don't know what to select from the wine list? Your server is sure to provide a tasty suggestion that will have you on your second bottle and rolling yourself out of there by the end of the night... The only reason this place doesn't get 5 stars is the price. I think the entree prices are fair for the portions and quality of the food, but the wine is a little on the steep side. It would be great if they had more affordable options--even the nameless table wine is $7 a glass! (Though, to caveat, it is still pretty good) When you go, don't forget about the apps and desserts--the bruschetta, deviled eggs, and smore's (that you actually cook over a flame) are all extra treats you definitely should not miss out on. Next on my bucket list for this place is their Sunday brunch. Bottomless mimosas? Yes, please!

I was visiting my family in Omaha and my mom brought me here. It was amazing. I even took a picture of Lobster Poutine dish from the menu to send to my husband (who previously lived in Montreal). The wine selection was great, and they were kind enough to let my mom sample a wine or two before making a decision. I had the Gnocchi and it was incredibly. It had just the right amount of crispiness on the outside. I loved this dish so much that when I visited months later we went again. My only regret is that when I was in Nebraska a few weeks ago I didn't remember to go again! Next time!

Been here twice, time to review. Not sure if it is seat yourself or not but we sat ourselves. First time there we just had drinks which were fine but a tad pricey. Service was not good. Second time there we went with the intention of trying an appetizer or two. No waiting list but every table was taken so we opted for the crowded bar where we found two open seats. We started by ordering two of the higher priced cocktails ($15) or so each. Time passed, time passed, we were asked by two different bartenders if they could get us a drink and we reiterated our drink selections and pointed out the first bartender who was to be making them. After 15 minutes or so we left. So, I would have liked to try the food before writing a review but when the service is so bad you can't get food, what do you say? Sorry, won't be back.

Great service. Large wine selection. Great food. Monday's special is $7 wine by the glass. I had a refreshing reisling and a sparking moscato. Both are great on this hot summer eve. For dinner I had the Moules Frita perfect pairing with the wine. For dessert, I tried the chocolate flour less cake. If you like mousse, you will love this. It is drizzled with a raspberry topping. Fabulous! I would recommend anytime!

I'm torn with this place, I liked it, but not enough that I would go back any time soon. After reading other's reviews I completely agree with them, to sum it up: Average food, FAST order turnout, slow with the drinks, and hard on the wallet. The 4 Pork Gnocchi was very good, but the reccomended Lobster Poutine was odd, and sitting on the patio the little flies swarmed us. As they hovered over the poutine, it gave me an ill feeling.... granted I'm not a huge poutine fan, I think I would have enjoyed another appetizer more. I don't venture out to West O much for dining, and I'm glad I tried this place, but the clientele wasn't exactly my cup of tea either....Plenty of designer bags, expensive cars and 'surprised' faces...*cough* Botox. Oh and I'm really glad I left my kid at home with a sitter so I could listen to your kids be obnoxious! You know what? Maybe I don't like this place as much as I thought....atmosphere is everything! The long and short of it. This place will keep being successful, but it's not the greatest. Like my review of J. Coco, some people think it's amazing, so it will stay popular, but there are way better (cheaper) places to eat and drink wine in Omaha.

Had the tenderloin medallions and they were great. Also been on Sunday for breakfast and bottomless mimosas and they don't mess around when making them. Breakfast food is great especially the thick cut bacon.

I purchased a Living Social deal for here with included an appetizer, a carafe of wine and a dessert. At first I thought the place was going to snooty, just based on the side of town it was located, but it wasn't. The waiter was very polite, the appetizer was decent and the dessert was awesome. I enjoyed the atmosphere, and I will likely return.

I've eaten here only once for dinner and it was good but I consistently go back because of the Sunday brunch and of course, the service. My usual is the vegetable eggs benedict with home fries and I am never disappointed. Love the fact that Jaime checks on every customer that comes into the place and genuinely cares about whether each person's meal is prepared the way the customer wants. Food servers are attentive and fill my coffee cup all morning without nary a complaint. The caliber of people that go into this place is also something to speak about because one day I was in my uniform and someone anonymously paid for my meal and today, I was engaged in a very interesting dialogue with some of the local college kids. Please keep doing what you're doing with both the quality of the food and the service. And although I'm not much of a drinker, one day, I might try some of your red wines :)

Always have the best time at Louie's! Amazing service and atmosphere. Most diverse wine selection...the owner even hosted an "introduction to wine" tasting with 5 different wines, cheese flights, and an explanation of each wine an where it came from. Best time out in Omaha my girlfriends and I have had in a long time!!

Lots of wine, but has a very loud atmosphere and mediocre food for the price. I loved the concept of this place, and had been looking forward to visiting here, but after one visit I am not sure if I need to go again. The wine variety was nice, and I do like that you can get a selection of wine on tap and order a carafe instead of a full bottle. But there is no beers on tap, only bottled, which seemed a little odd for the caliber of bar they seemed to be providing. Friday dinner rush was in full swing when we got there, and the place was packed. A table wasn't hard to come by but drinks were another 15-20 minutes. The fritto misto appetizer had indistinguishable vegetables that mostly tasted of batter, with a decent alioi (more garlic the habenero) and tomato sauce. Entrees for everyone were OK but not great, tried out the moules frites (decent mussels, somewhat mushy overly flavored fries), chef's daily burger (barbecue, bourbon, bacon and everything covered the taste of the meat), Louie's wedge salad with shrimp (just a wedge, dressing and salad shrimp), porchetta (moist, well done pork, didn't really need the sauce) and the deburgo. The service was fine, the food was delivered in a good time period and the water was refilled often, but I felt rushed and like I was being upselled on everything I ordered. I understand that that upselling is necessary but it felt very clinical how it was done, and I would have appreciated it being presented in a more personable way. Not a place that is easy to chat with friends, but the patio is quieter if lacking in view, unless you like your views of west Omaha parking lots.

Incredible food for a 'dive.' The 4 pork gnocchi is the best gnocchi I've had in Omaha hands down. Salty, savory, creamy, and a light crispness to the gnocchi. Yum! Wine on tap and great selection. Every wine can be purchased by the glass (even the most expensive), as long as you buy two glasses. It's a wine bar so beware the only beer on tap: Stella.

Just went here with my wife for Sunday brunch. Very friendly atmosphere. Our server was very attentive and the atmosphere was pleasant. The bottomless mimosas were, admittedly, a bit weak, but the food was delicious and reasonable for what we got. If you're looking for cheap wine, I'd go somewhere else, but for a restaurant the prices are really not bad.

After giving this place a try for the third time, I'm ready to rate it one star. The food is always average to below average. The first visit, I ordered the soba noodle salad. It had way too much dressing on it (ponzu--not done very well, unfortunately) and it was too spicy. The dressing completely overwhelmed the dish, so that is all you tasted. Terrible, terrible dish. The second visit I ordered a burger that was one of the chef's specials for the day. The patty was frozen! The waitress told me they pattied it fresh, but the middle was icy cold and neatly packet--frozen, for sure. The third and final time was their horrendous "wedge" salad. Their menu did NOT specify that they literally serve you a half a head of iceberg lettuce with 4-5 bacon bits, 4-5 small croutons, blue cheese crumbles, and, again, way too much dressing! I ordered it with grilled chicken and was served 1/2 cup of pulled chicken that had obviously been boiled (it had no flavor; certainly no "grilled" flavor or marks on it). This is probably the worst meal I've been served in quite a while. Worst of all, everything on the menu is overpriced. Lunch prices for these meals, respectively, were: $13, $12, and $13. I could not believe this place had the nerve to charge me $13 for half a head of lettuce and pulled chicken. Just outrageous! At least their name is accurate--"dive", 'cause that's the quality you'll be (over)paying for.

This is for the drink experience only. No food was ordered. Stopped in on a Tuesday night around 8:30. Looking for a chill place to relax and have a drink. The Mister ordered the Grenache and I ordered St. Francis. Somehow these tasted exactly the same so I'm not sure if it was an honest mistake or what. The waters that came were sent back because of chipped glasses. We had a second drink and went with our usuals (bourbon and beer). Can't really screw those 2 drinks up. Overall, the wine list is okay. It's not a place that I need to go back to soon. Country music was blasting the entire time. Perhaps the food would have impressed us more?

Have tried Louie's three times now. 0-3. Twice was for dinner. My wife had soggy vegetables and quinoa in the ratatouille dish. My jerk chicken had little flavor, just lots of heat. Our meals came out 5 minutes after we ordered (never a good sign). Our waitress was very nice and offered to remove my wife's meal from our ticket. My previous experience was no better with my son. Beyond the decent Mac and Cheese, all was below average. I guess this will have to be a drinking place only. That being said, I hope they improve their wine specials and list. The atmosphere is different each time I've been there and I don't think they've figured it out yet. I'm rooting for them. Can only drink so much wine at Brix.

I will admit, the first time I went with my best friend, a fellow wine drinker, we had great food and good wine, but we were really put off when one of the owners stopped to fawn all over the man at the table sitting next to us (with whom we happened to be having a conversation at the time) and completely ignored us. I mean, we're two women in our 20's which you would assume would be the target demo for a place like this. Not that we wanted to be fawned over, we're not high maintenance, but it was very deliberate, even the guy he was talking to thought ti was awkward. We had a good enough experience to give it a second shot and have had some hits and some misses. All of the servers I have had are very good, they actually know some things about wine and can make good suggetsions. It just seems like maybe they don't handle being super busy very well, I went on another occasion and sat for a good 20 minutes before someone grabbed our drink order...they were very apologetic and bought the first round, and free wine always puts me in a better mood, so all was forgotten. The menu has some different selections than what you might find somewhere else. My absolute favorite was the Emily's Harvest Salad. I really appreciate everything gluten free being labeled clearly on the menu, it takes a lot of the guesswork out of things for me. I would defintiely suggest it for a girl's night or happy hour, they particpate in PinPoint and offer a buy one/get one entree deal so if you wanted to try it you could do so less expensively.

Actually, my rating should be 3 and 1/2 stars. Good notes? The service is professional and attentive, the food better than I expected, and a very good array of beer, wine and drink choices. We loved two of the flatbreads, pork and chicken, the gazpacho is top tier, and the meats and sandwiches are excellent as well. We also liked the choices of good and very reasonably priced South American wines (I recommend the Torrontes on a hot summer evening). The downside? The place is incredibly nosy--even when 1/3 or less full, we really had to strain for conversation. And $9.50 for a Buffalo Trace bourbon on the rocks. Really? Nevertheless, and despite it being a chain (albeit a small chain-3 locations), we will definitely be back.

I have friends that enjoy Louie's Wine Dive and that's why I am here. This restaurant has been 3 different concepts in less than 5 years. I was pleasantly surprised with the renovations made for the newest concept. This kind of place is perfect for me and my wife. Come as you are with good food and great wine. There are some great values on the wine list especially if you are buying bottles. My wife had the Chicken Alfredo which was very good. Chicken Alfredo is on a lot of menus and rarely is worth noting. This was very good. The sauce was flavorful and the noodles were a perfect al dente. I had the classic burger and it was very good, but, I believe it was a frozen patty. Still tasty though. Definitely give Louie's a try.

I hesitated to go here after seeing the first (and only) review and am glad we took a chance. This is a fun place and we will definitely be back. My husband and I don't know much about wine except that we enjoy drinking it so I can't speak to the quality of the wine list but there are many options plus specials on the giant chalk board. We went with a special after speaking with the waitress and it was yummy. We loved the Moules Frites app - the mussels were cooked perfectly. The main courses can best be described as rustic, at least the ones we got. My husband had the Braised Beef Short Ribs and the only bad thing was that he ate it all before I could steal a sample. I had the Porchetta which was also delicious. Finished it off with Panna Cotta. The dessert was just ok, probably the weakest part of the meal but I've had some really good panna cotta in the past so I'm probably a tough critic on this one. Service was a bit slow, but not unacceptably so. It's a noisy place, don't go here for an intimate date night, but for a fun night out with friends it is perfect. And bonus points for the 80s rock music.

Good drinks, but SERIOUSLY, annoyingly loud. Food we had (burger & filet medallions) was only so-so. Overcooked. Went on a busy Saturday night and felt REALLY rushed out by a host who was pre-bussing the CRAP out of our table and asked "Can I get you another drink? Deserts? Do you need anything else?" Strange joint.

Louie's is a nice addition to Omaha. While it's not really my type of place, the food is good but not great. I'm not much of a wine drinker but was pleased to find a decent selection of beer and other alcoholic beverages. I'm not a fan of the variety of chairs that they utilize throughout the restaurant. In addition, the sever got my drink order wrong twice. My wife being a wine drinker, I will likely go back.
Outstanding service and food. We live close and never ventured in. The name confused us. We'll be back. Gluten free fish and chips... I mean come on who wouldn't. The waitress was sweet. Priced about what you'd expect. Nothing over $20. Mine was $13 and was really nice.

My husband and I went and tried Louie's tonight and I have to say that I was less than impressed. The wine selection was ok, but overpriced, and the food was mediocre at best. I had the chef's hamburger with fries and it was alright. Runza does a better burger and the fries were day old McDonald's fries. My husband had the buffalo chicken mac n' cheese, which wasn't bad actually. Overall the place was very loud, sound proofing is much needed, and the food and booze were overpriced If you want some place with a selection of wine and food, Brix has them beat by far!!

The food at this place was as good as it gets in Omaha. Really a step up from most other places in town. Service was very attentive and timely. We went for Sunday brunch and I had the 4 Pork Gnocchi and my wife had the Chicken Fried Steak and eggs with Chorizo gravy. Both were delicious and had us leaving with full bellies and very content. Definitely coming back next time we are in town.

Went on a Friday night on a whim, expecting it to be full. Happily, it wasn't and we were seated immediately. After about 8 minutes our waitress came by and said she'd be with us in a minute. I was curios as to why she wouldn't just take our drink order at that time but ok, she was at least polite and friendly. She came back and we ordered the Charcuterie with a nice CabFranc. The poor girl who delivered it had no idea what cheese was what and referred to the cornichon as the pickles (which is technically accurate but if you are going to call them pickles than call it a Meat and Cheese plate with stuff) (now I'm just being snotty and I digress)- regardless we enjoyed it and it was plentiful. My wife ordered the Portobello sandwich with goat cheese and lived it. I had the gnocchi with 4 types of pork and was in heaven. I mean seriously who doesn't drool over that? And the gnocchi were actually done very well. Service was a bit slow but friendly but overall the quality was decent.

Prices suck. Food sucks. Wine was good but pricey. Wait staff... ugh, ok. I won't be back. We spent way too much money for mediocre food. You have to have deep pockets with screwed up taste buds to enjoy this place. I had the steak... it was the most bland tasting steak that I've ever had. I would love to show the owners how to make a good steak... Louie, if you are reading... I will show your staff how NOT to cook out the flavor in a steak. The shrimp salad... had literally three shrimp in it... lol! A little baffled about that. The deviled eggs were very good though.

I ordered their barbecue Baby back ribs and it was really good. Their sangria pitcher for happy hour is great! The pitcher was big and tasted good. For the main course, I tried their pho wagyu. It was good but I'm vietnamese and I am very picky about my pho so it's not as I expected but the broth was still good. Atmosphere was great and definitely love my server. She was really nice and came by a lot to check up on us.

Went for brunch on a Sunday at noon and it was so crowded you could hardly find a seat! The crowd was 20-30s drinking mimosas. I would have enjoyed the scene if I were younger and not trying to visit with my mom friends. Ive been here before and enjoyed the atmosphere but this was too crowded for me. I had a great burger and ice tea and it cost me $20 with a tip. Conrad was our server and he was terrible :(

We really liked the atmosphere on a Friday night out. Good wine selection and food was also not bad. Definitely not a child friendly but that was our own mistake why we went there with our kid.

I can not say enough wonderful things about this place! The service (thanks Jodi) The owner( Thanks Jamie) the food, the wine and the atmosphere are all WONDERFUL!! Very personable and the Bruchetta sampler was AMAZING!!! Wines are excellent! So excited to have a new place to hang out and Thrilled Omaha is the new home for Louis! Cheers to you! Will be back again and again!

(4)Jason H.

Louie's wine dive has an awesome atmosphere. It has a funky, chill vibe and decor to match. The name isn't exactly accurate--it's a little divey but more classy chill spot than anything. It feels like a place that would be downtown but is actually located in a strip mall. Go figure. The staff are very laid back but professional. The menu is varied and definitely appeals to my foodie nature. Truffle fries make a nice accent to a decked out Sinatra burger. Very fresh veg on the bruschetta and drizzled with a dark balsamic glaze. Perfection. The shrimp bisque had a velvety texture and a deep rich flavor...so good I wanted to lick the bowl! Lucky for my fiancé I refrained. ;) I was not so impressed with the chicken Alfredo I got...I admit I'm a pasta snob but even taking that into account I was still disappointed. The sauce was nice but the snap peas in the dish overpowered everything. I could barely taste anything else. And the chicken was flavorless. I loved the pear cocktail I ordered--nice flavor and not too sweet. I didn't get carded though...not sure what their policy is but I'm barely a quarter of a century old. Our server was very new but needed to study her menu. She had to ask a lot of questions for us, and having been a server I feel like it's your responsibility to know the basics. She had a good attitude and was friendly, but again just needed more knowledge. I will definitely be back! I want to try the lobster mac and cheese. Bad.

(4)Rachel S.
(4)Vicki S.
Good food. Good food choices. I'll come back to try more dishes. Had the salad and calamari and deviled eggs.

(3)Erin F.
(5)Mary S.
Hit and miss here Food isn't the best. Love bands are way too loud. One amazing waitress and the rest arnt the best. Good luck!
(2)Patsy K.

(3)Mia D.
(2)Chelsea B.
(4)Janet R.
My favorite thing on the menu is the Pho. Very comforting food for the soul. Wine list is well rounded and the service is friendly.
(3)Leslie K.
Love this place!! Great food, atmosphere and service. Their brunch is awesome as well. Will definitely be going back!
(5)Nicole S.
Next time!
(5)Tom C.
(2)Pamela S.
(5)Audrey C.
(3)Tim H.
Had the tenderloin medallions and they were great. Also been on Sunday for breakfast and bottomless mimosas and they don't mess around when making them. Breakfast food is great especially the thick cut bacon.
(5)Amanda S.
(4)Xarhya W.
(5)Liz B.
(5)Christine S.
(2)M R.
(4)Matthew S.
(4)Lina B.

WOW!! The lobster Mac and cheese rocks!

The BEST food and service. My neighborhood hangout. Have always had great service and the food is so yummy!
(5)Sara P.
Had so much fun here! Make sure and try the truffle fries! It's a little loud but fun to meet up with friends.

(3)Robert S.
(2)Lisa M.
(3)Doug Q.

(4)Sondra Z.
(4)Matt B.
Louie's rocks and it is very popular. Nearly always packed, even the bar. Food awesome (try the mushroom soup). Staff is awesome and recruited from best restaurants/bars in west Omaha.

First time at Louies. Made a reservation online with Open Table, but found out that they weren't really needed. Space is kind of neat. Tables are very close together with a mish mash of chairs. Large black board hanging on the wall that shows you the specials. Good attentive waitress. Large wine list (60+) to choose from. Menu has a pretty good selection. We started with BLT Deviled Eggs that contains hunks of bacon rolled in with the yolk and arugula and oven roasted tomatoes on top. Very tasty. Wife went with the truffle mac and cheese with steak (not on the online menu) and I had the shrimp and grits (shrimp sautéed with apple wood smoked bacon, organic Iowa grown corn grits and topped with Prairie Breeze Cheddar). Entrée were very good. Dessert was a lemon crumble blueberry cheesecake (also very tasty) with a lemon curd in between layers with the blueberries mixed into the cake. We also tried the beignets - not bad, but less a beignet and more like a funnel cake taste. Louie's got crowded pretty quickly and the noise level really increased along with the volume of the music which almost because uncomfortable. Tables are so close together, that there really cannot be any type of "private" conversation. You hear your adjacent table mates stories whether you wish to or not. Great deal with Yelp Checkin at Louie's, you can get a free glass of their house "tap" wine when you purchase an entrée. I tried the Cabernet, brand is Old Soul and it was very ooaky with a bit of smoke. Very tasty. Overall, a pretty good dining experience as long as you are aware of how close the tables are and how loud the atmosphere gets. No quiet dining here.
