I love Le Peep! The staff works hard, and the owner is a very nice lady. Great atmosphere and food too!

it's a tasty place for breakfast!

First impression is a bustling little cafe with a coffee and smoothie bar. The staff is a gaggle of polite, smiling little teeny-boppers. The menu is full of excellent selections from crepes to pancakes to granola to amazing salads. And the smoothie selection is great. And the specials all sounded great. I ordered the granola blue pancakes which were enormous and delicious with crunchy sweet granola and scattered ripe blueberries in a fluffy pancake. I will definitely be back whenever I get the chance.

At times a bit understaffed, but the food and coffee drinks are excellent!

We have been there probably three times. We've always had a "wait," and on weekends it's really packed. You probably have only about 4' between each table, but it is a quaint little place with homey atmosphere. I've had good luck with basic breakfast menu items. I really love their waffles and crepes. Do not care for the sausage at all; I like the bacon. You get plenty to eat and they have a nice selection which should please about everyone. Everything is clean and well presented.

Love this place! My boyfriend and I went here for Sunday brunch and it was a great experience. The wait was not long even though there was a lot of people. The atmosphere was great as well. We did order some drinks. The cinnamon latte was delicious and the English tea was good and light. The food came out fairly fast compared to a lot of restaurants, especially if they are busy. I was expecting it to take longer but it didn't. I had the Belgium waffle and it definitely was what I wanted and ordered. Service was amazing! The staff was very friendly. Will definitely be coming back to try other things.

on a recommendation I stopped in for pre grocery shopping breakfast- it was busy but they couldn't have been more gracious in the fact I was a single diner. I was seated right away and had the most cheerful attentive server. I had my orange juice and chai latte both were delish- while I looked over the extensive menu. I had the stuffed French toast with strawberries and a side of sausage. no small portions here I was stuffed myself with the superb quality food- deliciously seasoned perfect sausage links and the French toast was the star. perfectly done with the tasty orange flavored cream cheese filling and the fresh sliced strawberries making it a complete meld of flavors. I even added the pancake syrup and IT was delicious with it. I didn't end up finishing the plate but I am still not hungry and its been several hours. I would go back in a heartbeat and advise all of you to check them out I heard the Blondo Lepeep was also a winner. this one is in the Pepperwood Village shopping area and has a lovely atmosphere ample parking and the employees were all friendly and helpful in that they took my plates and understood that they not just my server also are the face of Le Peep to a guest like me something other places could learn too- I felt instead of a tolerated customer as a guest in somebody's home making me breakfast. I am a cook myself - organically as much I can but i understand that fresh local food also has its perks when its done properly with quality ingredients, and I normally don't go out for breakfast because I can make it myself usually better than most cooks so why pay. i'll say the cook that made my breakfast did a fantastic job. I am on a budget so I cant afford daily "treats" but monthly definitely. i'd highly recommend showing off this place for out of towners too- everybody can find something off the menu. Go!

Walking into this place, I get that comfy feeling, but as soon as one of the staff speaks to me - it changes. I don't know what it is about them, but they aren't very easy to speak to. And when I come into a place to eat, I want the staff to make me feel comfortable. Last weekend, I came here to enjoy a breakfast with the family. I asked for a table for six and they told us we needed to wait until the rest of our party arrived. You're joking, right? Half of us were already there, so it's not like I was there on a solo mission. It just didn't make sense. As we sat there in front of them, they acted as if it was no big deal to give that answer. Every other single restaurant has been able to sit our family without us having to wait for our whole party. I just couldn't understand. The food is okay. I can't say that this is the best breakfast place in all of Omaha, because it's not. If it wasn't for some of my family living a block away, I wouldn't even come here again. If you're looking for something mediocre that is more fancy than an iHop, this is your place.

They are an exquisite choice for breakfast they have superb custom omelets and delightful cinnamon rolls. Then for a side their pleasant potatoes are an unrivaled choice. Then to wash it down I'd recommend their summer breeze smoothie.

UPDATE: Got a really classy note from whom I believe is the owner. I'll paraphrase - "I'm hard to please, rude and wait for it... Uneducated"! Thanks you! 12-11-14 W.t.f was that? Is what the 4 of us found ourselves saying after dining here. We were in town for an event in downtown Omaha and were thrilled to find a FULL GLUTEN FREE menu listed on their cooperate website. Having severe intolerance to gluten this was happy news for me. Upon being seated I immediately requested the gluten free menu. I had saved it on my phone to affirm that it existed. Several minutes later the fumbling hostess came back to say they do not have a gluten free menu.... Oh. Ok. What's this then? As I showed her my phone. My husband got up and found the large disgruntled owner and showed her. She replied "oh ya not in Omaha it says It right on the website". Oh really? Ok. So I pulled up the website both desktop and mobile versions and scoured both to find this exemption memo. There, of course, wasn't one. It was ok at this point that they did not have a gluten-free menu. I had already made a conscious choice on their regular menu. The point is, this lady lied to us. It shows lack of interest in her business And all she wanted to do was get rid of us at that point, get us out of her hair so she can go back to schmoozing with the 80-year old patrons who you'll find in my next paragraph May not have any taste buds at all.. Literally the worst "breakfast" we have ever had in our lives. I'm pretty confident that the bacon was microwaved or came precooked. Bacon!! how can you mess up bacon?!? The world's best food destroyed by le peep. My skillet was supposed to have chorizo sausage in it. The chorizo was pale and you can hardly considered this rubbery pork chorizo at all. The portion sizes were epically small. THe only thing I enjoyed was the Orange juice. My husband ordered a side order of two over easy eggs that costed four dollars and were terrible. Our poor timid young server seems like this was her first day on the job. I feel that they should employ less summertime sorority girls more experienced individuals to handle the hustle and bustle of Sunday morning brunch. We should have left after the owner blatantly lied to our faces but at this point we were very hungry and ready to eat. Thank goodness I will never have to visit this restaurant or the city of Omaha ever again. I'm pretty certain I saw a sign that read best breakfast in Omaha upfront. I'm hoping that was some twisted joke because if that's all Omaha has to offer in regards to breakfast that is incredibly sad

We have eaten here slots from the beginning and have been very pleased with our food. We've always found the staff and management to be extremely helpful, friendly and very well trained. The manager obviously is careful about who he/she hires and then trains them in customer service! When it was discovered that my husband needed to eat a gluten free diet, he was still able to enjoy his meals here as there's more than enough to satisfy most adults! Our experience with most "gluten free" products has been that they are dry and not particularly appealing so he simply avoids items made with flour. I've been able to custom order my casseroles to include extra vegetables, more crispy potatoes etc. We travel both the USA and internationally and are always glad to return to LePeeps for our home away from home cooking and good dose of Midwestern Hospitality!!

Just had breakfast again @ Le Peep's. The food is very good, the staff is friendly, the wait staff is excellent - friendly, genuine, and efficient. It gets busy but that means they''re doing an excellent job. Would recommend them for good food, good service, and great value.
