Wife and I went there for a steak special they were having. Got there about 8pm. None of the special left so MAYBE that would have been worth eating? Tried to order several items off the menu to be told they don't actually carry those items any longer, and haven't for months. Wife ordered a chicken something and I got a steak. We both ordered the mac & cheese. Steak was ok, really not too bad. The chicken was crap. the Mac & Cheese was strait from a box, and when i say that it wasn't even Kraft, it was the stuff you but at the store for like $.38 per box and I wouldn't bet they used milk to mix the powder. Yes I was a poor college kid at one point in my life and I remember what that stuff taste like. They did put some unmelted shredded cheese on it to hide it from view. all-in-all I would avoid this place like the plague!

We like the ethnic diversity for restaurants in Omaha and were interested in the "Caribbean" tag line this restaurant suggests. This restaurant does not come close to Caribbean, or even deserve to be listed as a restaurant. We had the Luau Pork Egg Rolls - Pulled pork with caramelized apples with Asian slaw...NOT even close!! Deep fried, greasy, no flavor and the Asian slaw was bland and absolutely no seasoning. A dipping sauce was included, but it was straight tobasco sauce?? I ordered the bowl of St Bart soup for $5.99 - this was a luke warm bowl of flavorless broth, 4 shrimp floating and 2 hard pot stickers. The shrimp were over cooked and rubbery and the the soup overall was horrible. My husband ordered the Puffy tacos with pulled pork and he had the same flavorless experience; luke warm, no distinguishable flavor and the side of rice and beans were bland and cold. If you can't make the effort to serve food with flavor and appropriate temperature, then don't serve food!! Stick to pop corn or chips and salsa. The server was pleasant, but clearly not in tune with our disinterest of the food. The restaurant's overall appearance was dated smelled like stale cigarette smoke and some chemical like fuel oil or something. You have to walk through the hotel lobby, which also smells of stale cigarette smoke. We have no interest in ever returning, this was a waste of time and this establishment has no business serving food when they don't care about quality.

Been waiting an hour for my food order and I still don't have it. Guy behind the bar took the order and never put it in their system. Don't go there for food.

Visiting from out of town and found this place on Yelp while looking for something close to the hotel that wasn't fast food. From the pictures it looked like a fun place and we found something on the menu that was posted for everyone. While they do have a kids menu, which was a nice surprise, I can't recommend this place for family dinners. We were expecting something along the lines of a Applebee's or TGI Fridays only with a fun Tiki theme but this place is really more of a bar that happens to serve food. I would rate the food as OK, I ordered the Volcano Platter and as pointed out in other reviews that I should have read the mini taco appetizer is obviously something you can find in the frozen food section of your grocery store and the onion rings might have been as well, I liked the quesadilla but had to dip it in the onion ring sauce as it was bland on its own. My son didn't care for his chicken tenders but my daughter liked her shrimp and my wife liked her chicken sandwich. Only downside is for what we paid we could have eaten at a much nicer place. The atmosphere was sort of there but not played up as much as you would expect. We went on a Saturday night and even though it wasn't very busy they were understaffed. The waitress was nice but obviously overwhelmed. If you are staying at a hotel nearby (or in the one attached) and are looking for a place you can walk to where you can get a few drinks then this place is for you but if you are taking the family out for dinner I would head elsewhere.

Nice staff , kind if a dive bar . Do not under any circumstances order the brisket . It was absolutely the worst beef brisket I have ever had in my entire life . My shoe insert would have been better than what they had on the plate . Staff was good about it but the chef and owner should really re-think their Thursday BBQ night unless they are just serving hot dogs !

Cute bartenders. Issues with the tap system imparting a funky taste to the beer.

Baha Bay Pasta has Gr8 flavor lots of shrimp & crab meat! Fish tacos was good but the rice & beans lacked flavor next time I'd substitute steamed broccoli! There's always drink specials that go with the beach tiki theme! Plus a free drink token for "checking in" on Yelp!!

This little hole in the wall wasn't much of a site on Sunday, with barely anyone in. It was surprising but we decided to stick around and try it. Glad we did. The nachos on the appetizer list were awesome with the pulled pork. We downed them very quickly! The Hawaiian pizza was also very good and cooked exactly the way I would expect. The chicken sandwich was also tasty but not as good as the nachos. The tiny tacos we ordered looked like something you'd get at the grocery store and tasted as such- and prevents the 5 star rating. But hey, it's a tiki bar with keno. I wasn't expecting everything to be perfect. It would be a fun place to hang out in the summer because they have garage like doors that open.

Cheap Beer and inexpensive bar food. No complaints here. They offered a nice happy hour with 2 for 1 beers and the servers were quite easy on the eyes. Other than that, there's not a whole lot to say about the Firewater Grille.

We've been back a few times, and still enjoy the food. I think it has good flavor, and I've purchased some daily deals, so we're practically eating for $10. Anyway, on a recent visit, I had a puffy taco, and wouldn't personally recommend. I had the shredded beef. They put it on a bed of their home-made slaw. The puffy taco is a deep fried flour tortilla bowl. I just didn't prefer it, because I don't want to eat a deep fried flour tortilla taco bowl. We just went back last night, and had a bbq chicken pizza. It had good flavor, and it had (roughly) 16 pieces. We enjoyed it, however, their Thursday night musician left something to be desired. We will still be back & recommend this establishment.

I went in because they had advertised $1 taco's and beers on Tuesday nights. Taco's were pretty bad, beer they would dip glasses in a sink to and then immediately fill them so you get that delicious sink water in your beer. Yum. Service was really slow, you can sit at the bar 15-20 minutes trying to get someone's attention. Went the next week to try another menu item to see if just the cheap taco's were bad. Fish and chips not much better. While I was there I guess they were changing their policy and were passing around a flyer that their dress code was changing and they no longer allow sports jerseys. It was funny because I happened to be wearing a Flyers jersey watching the Flyers game on their TV. So I guess they don't want sports fans coming to their bar/grill. lol
