While I was here I ordered a bleu cheese burger. Take my advice and just don't make my mistake. What was on the burger was some kind of cheap and tasteless bleu cheese dressing. It saddened me, because that awful dressing was topping an incredible burger. Now, aside from that, my friend ordered a bacon cheeseburger and was extremely happy with hers. The moral of this story? Don't go all fancy schmancy at a bar, fool. Aside from my foolishness, the beers were frosty and priced nicely, the service attentive, and the place wasn't loud for a Saturday afternoon. I'll definitely go again--it was a nice place.

I used to eat here for lunch almost every Saturday about 6 years ago. Hadn't been back since 2008, but just recently went back for lunch on a Monday in April. I ordered their Naked Burger (added bacon) with their homemade potato chips. They make a good solid burger. It's typically two patties, so you're getting a lot to eat. Homemade chips are great. I love homemade chips and they really know how to do them here. It's typical "bar and grill" food and not your fancier "gastropub" food. Service was friendly, but could be a lot more attentive. Waitress spent her time between taking and delivering orders at the bar chatting with coworkers and regulars rather than seeing if anyone needed refills, condiments, or anything else. Restaurant is a little too dark inside at lunchtime. Probably works well for their evening and nighttime bar crowd, but walking in from the bright sunlight at noon to a dark bar feels wrong. They should wire in some additional lighting and tie it to a switch they only turn on at lunch. This place had a huge surge in popularity in 2007-2008 when Omaha instituted its restaurant smoking ban. Since this place does keno it was exempted and so became one of the few places people where could eat and smoke in Omaha. When they removed the keno exception and this place became non-smoking its lunch business dropped off dramatically (same thing happened to Clancy's and a couple of others). Thankfully, their food quality did not go downhill.

Friendly, competent server and bartender. Reasonably-priced drinks. Good chips and spicy salsa. Clean bathrooms. Perfect music level for conversation.

Very deceiving from outside. Bigger and better inside and the waitress was very friendly. The owner was pleasant, personable, and engaging. Music was excellent and food wasn't too bad either - I had an app (fried zucchini? I think? - it was late and I was tired due to being on the road for hours), steak, and beer. If I lived in the area, I would be a regular visitor.

They forgot my reservation that I made about 2 months in advance, stating they could not find it. I was pretty pissed, as we had 15 people here to celebrate my graduation. I told the manager (maybe owner) to get it together. They set up a few tables, all was well, we closed it down and I believe we had great night. Since then we go there about once a month and have always enjoyed it. The homemade chips are freaking bomb!! Maybe just a little too salty, but add a beer and who cares?

Never again. We stopped by to eat lunch because it was close. I had a chili cheeseburger... Or so they called it. The hambuger was burnt to a crisp and they tried to hide it with nasty ass "chili". I ate about two bites. Would not recommend for food. Expect to spend about $5-10 on some shitty food.
