Best bagels in the city. My favorite is the double onion. My daughter will go nowhere but here for her everything bagel with smear and Lox. Absolutely delicious!

I love bagels and local businesses, so what's not to love about the Bagel Bin? Even for a little place, their menu is quite extensive, so make sure you take your time before impulsively ordering the first thing you see... or prepare for multiple trips back to sample all of their delicious offerings. Can't say I'd recommend the coffee though, but that's not why you're going here anyway, right? Worth noting that both my 'to go' lox bagel and coffee were provided in styrofoam containers... next time I'll bring my own.

As a native New Yorker/Long Islander, I was dismayed by the lack of authentic bagels in Omaha. Thankfully, the world has introduced me to Bagel bin! Actually, my friend Meg introduced me to it....but I digress. if you are looking for a delicious bagel with no frills coffee, then this is the place. You can't go wrong! The staff are friendly and helpful. This is the kind of place where you can sit down and enjoy your bagel wand coffee while reading the morning paper. You'll be greeted by locals who are happy to see new faces. Even though I live downtown, I'm more than happy to travel to west Omaha for this neighborhood gem.

Smaller in size but priced right ($.99 or $1.99 for specialty). I really wanted to give 4 or 5 stars since locally owned but the high quality just wasn't there for us. Cinnamon was our favorite, then everything. Chocolate hardly tasted of chocolate.

Best bagels in Omaha! Even better than the bagels is the onion board but get there early because they run out. Dr. Browns cream soda is the best, I grew up drinking it at a Jewish deli in Chicago and this is the only place in Omaha I can find it. This is a great alternative to Sunday brunch!

From the bagel wasteland of Philadelphia, it's certainly pleasing to have a place right around the corner from grandma's suburban neighborhood. Don't get me wrong, the bagels are good. However, given that they're baked on site, I felt they could have been fresher tasting. My favorite thing is an fresh, un-toasted bagel. They also lacked the signature chewiness that I look for. Service was a bit curt, but the shop was overall pleasant and clean. I'd be happy to have this bagel shop in Philly, but it wouldn't quite pass muster in NY.

Not the chew-iest best bagels I've ever had, but their egg salad here on a toasted onion bagel is delicious. Three of us stopped in on Friday and had 3 bagels- one us of had the lox cream cheese (very salty, but decent chunks of lox) and the other had the dill cream cheese. All were good. Customer service was kind of weird- they didn't know what kind of bottled waters they had out in the fridge (I just asked for bottled water) and the person who took our orders also made our food so the check out process was not that efficient. I'd stop in a lot though for the egg salad if I lived nearby.

I understand why this place has the reviews it does! I can tell the recipes are from NYC- these are the closest to the real deal bagels I used to get at New York bagels in Sherman Oaks CA. now.. I realize the bagels were from California but from the lines I assume the NYC transplants including Bruce Willis who I saw there one morning waiting in line for his bagels in front of me- if its close enough for Bruce Willis etc.. I was pleased because I loved my Sunday morning bagel and since I moved back- Midwest bagels are good but they just aren't quite right. these nailed it and I am so pleased I can have bagels again because I love bagel sandwiches.. they were reasonable priced - I have bagels for the rest of the week without breaking the bank- easy to find and parking in front was doable I also had a cinnamon sugar cronut.. DELISH. highly recommend!

Best bagel in Omaha! Please don't say Panera has the best because those are not bagels. They are pieces of dough with sugar all over them. Having been to New York multiple times, these are the closest thing to a New York bagel. The Bagel Bin is the only Kosher bakery in Omaha. The restaurant is good size but fills up quick on the weekends. They have a number of choices on their menu. Some of my favorites are the Everything Bagel with Veggie Cream Cheese, the Pizza Bagel, and the Egg Salad Bagel. You won't be disappointed with this place.

The food is great but I think the prices are a little crazy. For a bagel and cream cheese $2.72 if you want extra cream cheese it is .50 more. Tuna and bagel is $5.22. I like the food but hate the prices.

Great bagels and cream cheese options. Love the soups too. Salt bagel double toasted with cream cheese is my fav. Service is an acquired taste... they have an interesting order/payment process, but once you know it, it's easy to walk in and find something satisfying.

GREAT bagels, friendly staff, laid-back atmosphere, and reasonable prices. Perfect for Sunday morning breakfast with the kids and reading the paper...

This is probably the best place to get bagels in Omaha! The staff is welcoming and very friendly. I love the variety of the menu, which you can tell has that homemade taste. Not to mention, their egg salad is the best ever!

Food was very good, but the service was lacking. Went there with a friend. We were obviously together, as we were both asking questions about the menu to the staff and each other. They took his order and then ignored me. While I was waiting to order, an older gentleman came out of the backroom and right up to the counter where I was standing. He never acknowledged me, said hello, nothing. When I did finally order, the response was "Oh, are you two together?" I won't be back. I can get good bagels at other stores that realize I am a paying customer.

This place is kosher. Apparently kosher means tasteless. I've been here a few times. The cinnamon/raisin bagel, tastes like a plain bagel. The cherry bagel, tastes like a plain bagel. The blueberry bagel, tastes like a plain bagel. The garlic and herb spread should be renamed to rosemary spread since that is the only thing I could taste. Read the ingredients on it. The only thing garlic in it is garlic powder. My suggestion, use actual garlic.

best bagels and cream cheese in omaha.

My brother used to be a regular customer to the Bagel Bin before he moved out of state. He always raved about this bagel joint and said the bagels, service, and other baked goods were out of this world. I was heading out of town early one morning and was passing by on Pacific St. I stopped in to check it out...my brother was spot on. The bagel was delicious (Onion bagel with honey walnut cream cheese..unusual I know, but great combo.) and the service made me feel like I was a regular. I love small mom and pop bakeries and the Bagel Bin exemplifies all of the redeeming qualities of one. Check this place out, it's delicious, affordable, and the service will make you a return customer regardless.

I was in Omaha last winter on a business trip with a friend who keeps kosher. This is the only kosher bakery in Omaha. The bagels & lox were great. We made sure to meet at the hotel lobby every day at 7am so we could swing over to the Bagel Bin to get our 6 inch high bagel sandwiches (bagel, lox, onion, cream cheese). If I kept kosher and lived in Omaha, I would set up a zip line from my house to the Bagel Bin. Check out the "watch us work" movie on their website: bagelbin.com/index.cfm

Great egg bagels! Good cream cheeses, too. And a nice eating area. But I usually just grab my half-dozen and go. Be sure to slice and freeze them asap, as they'll get stale fast. (They give you a freezer bag.)
(5)Meghan S.
Why would you go eat bagels at another bagel place in Omaha? All other places are chains. All other places don't know how to make bagels like this. All aren't keeping it kosher. Come on!
(5)Ben B.
Best bagels ever! I go here all the time. They have great homemade spreads. Very popular. Parking is hard sometimes and so is inside, and no reservations. All in all awesome!
(5)Katherine J.
Doesn't get much better than this! I would eat here all the time if I lived in Omaha. I had an everything bagel with egg, spinach and tomato and it was amazing. They have so many different kinds of bagels - even chocolate! The location doesn't look like much from the outside but it's pleasant inside. As my friends pointed out, their bathrooms are immaculate. Says a lot about a business when they take pride in keeping bathrooms sparkling clean. Will definitely return next time I'm in the area!

I really enjoy Bagel Bins bagels and their hallah! Everything and double onion are my favorite bagels. Do mater how busy they get their staff is always patient and nice. An Omaha institution!

When I moved around the corner from the Bagel Bin I felt like life suddenly changed for the better. OK, a little overstated but their bagels are easily the best in Omaha. When I went in one Saturday morning (be prepared to battle a little bit of a line then) I asked where their bulk containers of cream cheese were located. I was directed to a fridge unit and when I opened the door a heavenly orchestra figuratively (not literally) played out. There is every type of cream cheese any reasonable person would want. The jalepeno-cheddar is outstanding and the lox are great. I agree with the one reviewer who said not to go there for the coffee, especially when there is a Crane about 50 ft. away. Overall great staff (even if the teenagers can be a little flaky sometimes).

This is the bagel shop you expect when you think of a bagel shop: friendly folks of all ages working, a view of bagels being freshly made in the back, families crowded around tables of bagels and donuts... It's the real deal. I had the Everything bagel with Cheddar Jalapeno cream cheese. It was delightful. I also went for a red velvet cheesecake cookie for the road. I wish I'd opted for a few more!
