So as I was cruising arond Lincoln I remembered that Zipline has a great Taproom on west O street. I have always liked Zipline and I decided to stop by. I got somewhat lost but had the general idea of where I needed to be. I prematurely turned around and was back downtown. bummer. I busted out my trusty Yelp app and looked up "zip" and clicked on Zipline and 'Get Directions' from there I just followed the directions and ended up here very quickly. I was fortunate enough to be from the the first one in. Plenty of beers. Plenty of samples, and plenty of great beer. A really crisp vibe and great appeal. Free WiFi ( a must for yelping) and pretzels and dry goods. Industrial neighborhood and generally a great location away the typical Lincolnite vibe

Awesome, awesome brewery. I've always loved Zipline's beers and made it a top priority for me to visit when in Lincoln. It is a little out of the way, in an industrial area....Kind of like a couple of the breweries here in Omaha. Kind of a cool setting I suppose. Anyways, on to the review. I love the inside of this place. Their choices of places to sit are all unique, including a giant leather couch with a piano is front of it and the big Zipline logo on the wall. You've got the bar, some large picnic style tables, and some smaller high tables against the wall/windows. They have a selection of merchandise on the wall off to the side as well. They have a great selection of beer, all of them are very drinkable in my opinion. I can't say the same for any brewery I've been too (Except Boulevard!). They do, however, have a couple beers that stand out. Try the NZ IPA, Belgian Dubbel, and the Barleywine if you're feeling up to it....I love this place, their beers, their logo...all of it. My favorite brewery and I hope I can come back a couple times.

Another favorite stop of ours. We pulled into Lincoln just in time to stop in before close. We ordered a flight of 6 tasters. It's hard to say which one we liked best because they were all so good, a great sign from a craft brewery! My favorites were the Black IPA and American Tripel. The Nut Brown was a favorite between my husband and I also. We were in right before close so they started cleaning up while we were enjoying our tasters. They were very kind and let us know we didn't need to rush and even offered us another beer! We were exhausted and wanted to let them clean up so we went on our way. Very happy with this stop, we may need to do this more often on our long trips between Iowa and Colorado! Zipline is definitely worth the visit.

My husband and I were in Lincoln for the weekend (from Omaha) and one of our favorite things to do in new cities is check out breweries and tap rooms, so to Zipline we went. It's on the west end of town, but not too out of the way from campus/downtown. I've tried most of the bottled zipline beers, so was pleasantly surprised that their tap room had a very wide variety (10+) of their beers on tap, everything from year-round beers to their seasonals and even a special cask for that night. I like sampling multiple beers at new breweries, so I appreciated that they offered half-pints as well. We particularly enjoyed the oak aged IRA! Oh, and free pretzels - a nice touch! Service at the bar was very friendly, and bartenders knew their stuff. Not sure how much of the year they do this for, but it appears they have food trucks in their parking lot every Friday evening - another great touch. The BBQ restaurant that was there when we went had great food and great service as well. Zipline will definitely be a place I head back to on a Friday or Saturday night the next time I visit Lincoln.

This past weekend I was home in good ol Lincoln and finally tried Zipline Beers and I am glad I did. So happy to find another great brewing company in my hometown. I tried the IPA, Nut Brown and The Copper. All smooth and delish- So much so we bought multiple (affordable) 6 packs to take back to Texas with us. In fact I'm enjoying a Nut Brown right now....so if you don't mind I'm gunna wrap it up and say Yes to Zipline. Hopefully I can go to the tasting room someday.

My favorite microbrewery in Nebraska by a considerable margin. I've yet to sample a beer here I didn't think was excellent. These folks take pride in their beer, but run a really relaxed and comfortable place. Sitting out on the patio on a nice afternoon sipping flights of beers is a wonderful way to top off any visit to Lincoln.

If craft beer is your thing, you must stop here. Best brewery in the city of Lincoln Bar none. The tap room is spacious, and they have some outdoor seating. Usually have a fresh spread of beers that you can't get in stores here too. They do a tone of exclusive tastings events and casks. As well as seasonal beers. Give them a like on Facebook, they'll tell you all of the new beers they are tapping or cask events coming down the pipe. We come here all the time.
