Wonderful place with an amazing history and an amazing host. If I were to ever want to move to Nebraska this is where I'd want to live. We plan on giving a night here away as a gift. Highly recommended.

My husband and I were looking for a romantic place to get away in Lincoln and we stumbled across Westview Bed & Breakfast. First, they offer a lot to their guests. When we arrived, we found our mini fridge stocked full of soda and water. There was also free coffee, popcorn, chex mix, mints, jelly beans, and candy. In addition to all of these free snacks, we found the breakfast extremely delicious. It came with fresh fruit and whipped cream, along with an omelet on toast with peppers and bacon. It was very good!! What I really liked was that they let us choose exactly when we wanted to have breakfast and where (anywhere in the house, on the balcony, or in the privacy of our own room). Our room was very cozy. It had a huge, comfortable bed. There was a 32" flat screen in the room complete with DirecTV and a Blu-ray player. We also had access to over 500 movies, which was great. Finally, our room also included a huge whirlpool tub, which made for a very relaxing weekend. In terms of service, the couple that owns the place was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We were provided with their number and told we could contact them if we needed anything at all. Overall, a really relaxing stay with lots of extras. We will most certainly be back.

My husband and I have stayed here twice this past year and loved our visits! We had such a wonderful relaxing time! We are planning on heading back there again for a baby moon and being from California it's so nice to get away from the business and be in a quiet relaxing place. The owners are incredibly hospitable and wonderful people. The food is amazing! Being a pastry chef in fine dining I was blown away with the food that was prepared for us! Absolutely the place to go for great relaxation and amazing food!

I've traveled on both coasts and across the country. This is one of the best places to stay in the United States. Breakfast was a waffle smothered in fresh fruit, followed by a peppery homemade omelet with peppers, asparagus, and bacon. The rooms are sumptuous, and the price point is just insane. Rain showers. Whirlpool tubs. Cozy furnishings. Huge, immaculate bed. Endless free drinks and snacks. Lots of other amenities (e.g. DVD player, flatscreen, complete kitchenette, etc). Nice and relaxed managers. Totally casual check-in/check out. Fast, no-hassle WiFi. It is worth going out of your way to stay in Lincoln, Nebraska -- a place you might not normally visit for any reason -- just to stay here.

Such a wonderful place! I stayed there with my girlfriend last winter for a night, on my way to Omaha airport. The owner was super friendly and nice. He gave all the informations we need and a little bit about the history of the building. The room was fantastic! Fireplace, bathroom... Especially in Nebraska's cold winters, it was fun to watch snowing outside while me and my girlfriend were sitting right next to the fireplace. Close distance to attractions in Lincoln. Such a good memories there. I have nothing bad to say about this place. If I ever go back to Nebraska, I'd definitely stop by there again.

This place needs an extra star or two beyond the 5 I can give it! They gave just the right amount of attention vs leaving you alone. Not only did they allow us to set up breakfast for 9AM when we were late Jim graciously had given our breakfast to someone else and made ours fresh. Coleen greeted us graciously and helped us to find a place to eat giving us choices and directions. BTW Taste has great food, the steak was done just right and my husband really enjoyed the cheesecake.
